Kaoru Takahashi vs Malina

Malina quickly got up, seeing Kaoru standing at a safe distance. She didn't say a word, but as she put herself in guard again she smiled a little at Kaoru, happy that the newcomer wasn't one of those wet-behind-the-ears fighters and could actually trick her. Still, it seemed that she was being cautious as well, as she did not try to attack her while she was down.

Malina decided to press on. She would get closer to Kaoru, circling her but staying just out of her range. Then, after some time, she would step forward and send two strong jabs directly at Kaoru, wanting to see if that was enough to open her guard.

Kaoru was certain that it would be better to stay out of Malina's reach. Just like her father had taught her, she should never allow her opponent to attack. Of course, when that was not possible, it was better to remain in a defensive stance and wait. Kaoru returned the smile to the other girl and carefully started to circle her, not willing to get caught in some kind of trap.

The first jab was easily blocked by her arms, while the second one was barely avoided as she ducked a bit and leaned to the side. Her hair swayed in the air as she tried to sneak behind her opponent and slide her arms under the other girl's armpits and join hands behind her head, attempting to lock her in a full nelson hold. If successfully executed, it should immobilize her arms and drain her energies as she tried to escape.

Even as her punches were sent, Malina paid close attention to Kaoru's reactions and movements. Having fallen for Kaoru's trap once, she was now doubly wary of being tricked again, and was on the lookout for any suspicious motion that indicated a new offensive.

When her first jab was absorbed by Kaoru's guard, Malina noticed a shift in her footing, and as the second one missed she saw that Kaoru was going for her back. She didn't know if the other girl intended to execute a hold or a throw, but this time she instantly knew how to counterattack. As soon as Kaoru got behind her, she lowered her arms and sent an elbow backwards to strike Kaoru's ribcage. If it connected, Malina would spin around while Kaoru was stunned and send another quick, if innacurate, punch at her head.

Kaoru was convinced that Malina would fall for her tricks again. However, she was surprised to find out that her opponent had seen right through her. As she tried to lock the other girl in the full nelson hold, the white clad girl received the elbow blow to her ribcage. The sudden attack made her stumble back and double over, her arms tightly holding her stomach. "Nnghh!"

Of course, that would just leave her open for Malina's next move. The punch would connect beautifully with her forehead, and Kaoru would fall down to the mat onto her butt. Her hands would then move to her forehead, rubbing it lightly as she moaned cutely in pain. "Oowww..." She wouldnt take her eyes off the other girl, though.

Malina's attention piad out in the end, as she saw her opponent flying to the mat after her punch connected. Even though they were now even, Malina decided to continue attacking; she felt that she should tire Kaoru a bit, so that she'd be less prone to pulling off tricks in the near future.

Despite all the moves both wrestlers had taken, when Kaoru fell they were still more or less in the center of the ring, and so Malina went for an early submission hold in order to wear her opponent out. She'd grab one of Kaoru's ankles and turn her ove onto her stomach to lock in a single-leg boston crab. It was a simple move, but there was no need to be fancy that early in the match, and Malina knew how to make it effective.

Kaoru looked up at her opponent, still a bit dazed after the punch to her forehead. Still, she was able to tell that the other girl had something in mind. And she was definitely not going to like it. Well... that's why she was always on guard. "I'm sorry... but I cant let you catch me now...!" As Malina tried to reach for her delicate ankle, the white clad girl would send her leg upwards, attempting to kick Malina right in the face! Of course, if the other girl was ready to avoid something like that... she was screwed.

On the other hand, if the kick indeed connected, she'd roll backwards and away from her opponent and grab the ropes, pulling herself up to her feet in less than 2 seconds. She knew that her opponent was physically stronger. That's why she had to stay away and think of some way to damage her.

As Malina reached for Kaoru's ankle, she saw it suddenly spring up towards her face. Her eyes widened and she tried to back away, but even in her alert state the kick was far too quick and sudden for her to react in time. "Agh!" Kaoru's boot striked her forehead, and pain shot up along her head, focing her to let Kaoru go and stagger back a couple of steps.

She grunted and held the painful spot on her forehead, all while watching Kaoru roll away. "Gh... nice one. You're doing well!" she said to the newcomer, trying to think of a way to outsmart her quickly. She had enough endurance to face a battle of counters for a while, but there was the possibility that Kaoru was trying to outlast her. She didn't know whose resistance was higher, but she didn't want to find out in such a risky way.

She then saw her getting up, and noticed that Kaoru had her back near the ropes. Malina shook away the pain and ran towards her immediately, having decided to attack her before she moved from there. In her position, she shouldn't be able to dodge backwards without being stopped by the ropes. As she ran, Malina reared her right fist, as if going for a big haymaker to Kaoru's right. Then, when she got in range, she actually stopped and swung her left leg up; if Kaoru fell to her feint, she'd probably dodge her imaginary punch and run right into Malina's powerful left side kick.

Kaoru was pretty glad that she managed to escape from Malina before she could catch her. From the punch she had taken to the forehead before, she knew that nothing good would come out of letting her opponent attack. Now that she was up on her feet and near the ropes, she felt a bit more confident. She could get a ropebreak if, by any chance, she got caught in a submission hold.

Of course, that left her open for melee attacks. She didnt have much space to move since her back was almot touching the ropes. Her eyes focused on the other girl as she came closer and closer. She had to move to the sides, or jump... or counter! Not willing to let her opponent attack, Kaoru would charge towards the other girl at full speed, ducking low so she wouldnt get hit by the 'punch'.

The white clad girl would attempt to tackle Malina down to the mat. On the other hand, if her opponent changed her strategy and decided to go for the punch... she'd be in troubles.

Before Malina could execute her feint attack, her charge was cut short by Kaoru's tackle. Seeing her opponent dart forward, Malina had one chance to try to stop her with a strike, but she didn't do it and decided to go with the flow; as a result, she was tackled at once, and she fell down to the mat with a soft "oof" as Kaoru's momentum pushed her back.

Malina ended underneath Kaoru's body, slightly stunned by the impact of her back against the mat. However, she was definitely not down for the count yet, and Kaoru would have to take action quite quickly after the tackle. If Malina wasn't stopped, she would send her best right punch at Kaoru's face, and if it connected she'd try to roll so that their positions were reversed and she ended up on top of Kaoru. Now that Kaoru had brought the fight to the mat, wanted to keep it there, as escape would now be harder.

A simple monkey flip, a failed full nelson hold and a kick to the face were just not enough to make Kaoru think that she had Malina down for the count. She had to continue attacking so later on she could go for a pin. Not wasting a single second, the white clad girl reached for one of the other girl's arms, climbed off her and kneeled next to her. Next, Kaoru would try to wrap her legs around the captive arm, her feet resting on Malina's chest as she attempted to lock her tightly in an armbar!

Having received one of her opponent's punches, she knew that she should focus on weakening her arms so she wouldnt hurt her so badly next time. If she managed to lock Malina in the hold, she'd also start twisting her wrist, adding some extra pain.
