Anime from that era has always been the best in my opinion. I miss the 90s art styles compared to how they draw and animate thier characters now.
Oh, and I just saw that Angel Cop link. What the fuck, so many F-bombs and blood!? Good stuff.

It's not necessarily the art style I miss, but more this typical 90s feeling. The characters, the music, the themes, when Anime was called Japanimation and so on.

The fun thing about Angel Cop is, that only the English Dub has so many F-Bombs, the original Japanese version is quite harmless in comparison if memory serves well. This new PG era sucks. <img src=

Pure in a matter of perspective.. The Chaos welcomes all who believe in the TRUE emperor. Even Kanu Unchou has submitted to the Chaos and is stronger then ever!

There is a difference between real promises and false promises. It's keeping them! The Black Legion will keep all promises. Kanu realizes this and is now fighting for our cause to make her dreams come true. Seeing Gentoku! I'm sure someone would be very eager to see Ryofu back in reality... Your Emperor does not have the technology, wisdom nor any ability to do so! We can.. All we need are strong people to follow our own cause so that it will be reality!

Reviving Ryofu? Just to senselessly kill her off again? Great Guardians was a humiliating mistake the Imperium shall not repeat. The people in charge have already felt the wrath of the God Emperor. If it wasn't for the Horus Heresy, we could have sticked to the manga...no...we could have sticked to the original Chinese novel! It could have been an awesome epic if it wasn't for the Dark Gods. Is it..? Flaws are meant to be repaired, whether you like that or not.. Feel free to challenge Chaos, Kanu will be ready for you.. However... Chaos is the only way of surviving the madness that your false emperor has created. Those who see the better ideals the Emperor does not, are called Heretics by your emperor.

Then, if you are so keen on clinging to your own destruction your emperor seems to favor secretly, be free to do so. I will revie the Horus Heresy... Many of the Emperor's " Loyalists " See it our way.

After I'm done with Masane Tajiri, Ryomou Shimei shall fight Chaos Kanu just to prove the Emperor's superiority over the lies of the Dark Gods.
As much as it pains me to admit, in one point I have to agree, flaws are ment to be repaired. But wether the Black Legion's Xtreme Xecutor will make up for Great Guardians remains to be seen. You managed to pull of a miracle with Queen's Blade, but let's see what the next episodes of XX will bring us. We're almost halfway trough...
