Strategy: Daisy is a fighter, through and through! She can use almost every part of her body during a fight, but what is abundantly clear is that she is more of a striker than a kicker! If her fists don’t instantly bruise her opponent, then her grappling prowess is sure to lock them up and send them off to a very sudden nap! Speed and power is her game, which only the best can outmatch!

Land Down Under: While locked into a grapple, Daisy will fire off a powerful knee to the opponent’s exposed midsection. Unless the opponent is heavy, they tend to be hoisted off their feet with the blow. Leaving Daisy to easily capitalize on their weakened state.

Headlock Hell: Just as one might expect, Daisy has a crushing headlock. If an opponent isn’t careful, they can find themselves caught in this guillotine of a hold and suffocate them into a deep dark sleep!

Coming from the long flatlands that neighbor the infamous Hot Expanse, Daisy is from a small village not well known for anything in particular. It’s a great pit stop for travelers and merchants who find themselves passing through the area, but never a place where outsiders stay for long. The village has plenty of food to share, water and drinks to indulge in, and plenty of soft, warm beds to rest in. So what was the reason so many visitors came and went so fast?

Well, the main source of entertainment for the village was regulated fighting!

Daisy grew up in a culture where fighting was less a violent outburst of anger, but more of a competition similar to most sports. Almost like an art form, but instead of a grand piece of music or a picture, you got an irreplaceable experience viewable only that one and only time! (and maybe an unconscious fighter or two.) The negative connotations of physical combat was minimized or simply ignored in the village, leading to many a strange encounter with newcomers to the village and plenty of misunderstandings. Hence, their isolation to the outside worlds of Gaia and the numerous different species, cultures, practices, and even combat styles. But the pugilistic style of the Red Village was refined, polished, and improved upon generation by generation through practice and training.

It was really only by complete chance that an SRW staff employee, after getting dreadfully lost on a hiking trail during their vacation, found the Red Village. Much like any other visitor, they were welcomed, cared for, and a witness to the village’s combative entertainment. But, rather than run or politely excuse themselves, the SRW staff member actually introduced their workplace to the village. While it was not uncommon for those that lived there to leave for a period of time and come back, very few were interested in leaving their home to travel across Gaia simply to maybe get a chance to fight others when they had all the competition they needed right there at home.

Really, only Daisy herself showed any interest at all. The idea of new fighting styles intrigued her. Was the boxing, rappelling centered style she had been raised with since she was a child really the very best? What if there were ways to improve it that only an outsider could see? Or maybe none of that was true, and she couldn’t learn anything. At the very least, fighting other species sounded exciting compared to simply fighting her fellow Red Kangaroos. It didn’t take long before she was going along with the SRW staff member, jumping in on their vacation and following them home like a lost puppy. Much to their dismay.

A few months later, Daisy found herself a place to stay, and finally made it through the SRW roster tryouts and earned a permanent spot! Now, she’s looking to explore what the SRW has to offer as well as give everyone an entertaining match! No opponent is too big or too small! Too scary or slimy! If the fight is good, then Daisy will be satisfied…but she will be happy when she wins!

Fun Facts:.

Insecticide: Daisy hates bugs! Small critters creeping around tend to get obliterated by her strikes…along with the walls they were crawling on.

Thrifty: While Daisy makes enough at SRW to pay her bills, she is still new to Tsubar’s monetary system. More often than not, she travels outside the city to gather her food and materials for her day to day tasks. Rarely does she spend any credits at the local markets.

Door Stop: Yes, Daisy’s tail does get caught in closing doors often. She only recently learned to not yelp in surprise when it happens.
