Katya Sokolova was born the only daughter of Russian inmigrants in America. Her childhood and teenage years came and went without much interest since she was a pretty regular girl with regular hobbies and routines. Yes, she might like wrestling too much but it never got in the way of her studies. What she really liked was sport and got to practice some gymnastics but never got to compete. Her relationship with her parents wasn’t that good. It wasn’t as if they hated each other but Katya had a pretty whimsical personality that directy clashed with her mother’s rigidity.

When she came of age Katya couldn’t repress her instincts anymore and moved away from home. She wandered the country hitchhiking and stopped wherever she felt like it. She lived in motels and worked as a barista for whoever would hire her. It wasn’t the ideal life for most of people but she was enjoying the freedom. Her fate turned upside down when she found a bar in her travels that got her attention. She started working as usual but this business had a catch: while she worked as a barista during the day, the night brought her to a side business. That bar was an oil-fight club at nights, and quickly found a passion for tussling around in oil and rubbing against others to the crowd’s delight. Her magnetic personality and her style granted her a pretty important sum of money, but the best was yet to come.

One day a man scheduled a meeting with her. He was representing a budding wrestling federation and she was offered to be one of the show’s main stars. Without thinking twice Katya said yes and that was how she joined Galaxy Wrestling, where she became one of the main antagonists for most wrestlers there. Among everyone in the league there was some wrestler she antagonized the most, Eleanor Rigby, the main hero of Galaxy Wrestling. Time passed and their rivalry became so famous people couldn’t think of one of them without bringing up the other, and even if they were rivals in the ring behind the curtains they were slowly walking the path from frienemies to lovers. Each one of them got the best features of the other shining, and they looked like a perfect match despite their differences in character.

Thanks to Galaxy Wrestling Katya got an easy life going in which she could follow what she desired with Eleanor besides her. Despite the show having some popularity bumpy times came and Galaxy Wrestling had to shut down, leaving Katya and Eleanor hanging and unemployed. It wasn’t meant to be for long, since now they were the main face of a decent show and thanks to the internet their reputation had reached even Japan. When the notice of the disassembling of Galaxy Wrestling the AFW made quick haste to get them moving to Japan. Reborn as the Galaxy Fighters as a nod to the platform that got them to meet, both Katya and Eleanor made it to Japan to continue with her adventure...

- More than just in name: Katya is actually quite fond of her Russian heritage despite being born in the U.S. She would travel to visit her grandparents regularly and is proud of that part of her culture, perfectly speaking Russian.
- Bare neccesities: Despite her whimsical personality Katya doesn’t crave for material posessions or luxury. She gets what she needs but doesn’t like being gaudy.
