The Spar That Started It All (For Scourger X)

Tia Baker:

It was looking to be a pretty good day for Tia Baker. The girl stretching out a bit in the training ring at the gym. The girl had been hoping and looking for someone to test herself against in order to get back into the swing of things. But regardless the girl was hoping to spot someone that she could get into a little training session with. There were plenty of options since the gym wasn't completely empty. But Tia figured so long as she stood around in the ring and waited for a bit that someone would at least show enough interest to approach her.

In the meantime there didn't seem to be anything lost in doing a bit of training and stretching. Tia keeping herself limber in anticipation of finding the right person. It didn't have to be someone she'd met before. And in some ways it would be easier to get into the training session with a fresh face. Although it they had seen some of Tia's matches that in itself could be a bit embarrassing since she'd had quite the...history in the league. But that was just how it went sometimes. You won some, lost some, and were left in a moaning heap in some of them.

The orange-haired girl reminding herself it was the start of a new day though. If she could 'win' the little sparring match that would lift her spirits and she could look ahead to some matches that were likely right around the corner for her. "Ok, now let's see here." Tia took a quick look around with a curious eye.

When you already have enough gym equipment at home, going to a public place isn't very appealing at all. So why is Kotone, AKA Koto-chan, here today? Well, it was actually a lot of reasons; ranging from her mother not being in an approachable mood to be a good sparring option, to John being away and making her feel lonely, to her just being in the mood to fight someone with all of her might. So yeah, she was there just to check if there was a way to get a good mate that wouldn't be against the idea of helping her kick her stress away.

At long last, after anxiously walking through the whole gym twice or thrice, the bluenette finally decided on a place that was pretty close to a certain girl that was looking for a partner as well. Kotone didn't approach her of course, she was just minding her own business for the moment. And that included getting in position, in front of a full-body mirror to begin doing some stretching in preparation to what she was getting convinced would be a dull afternoon of lone work out.

"Nghh... This place is so boring..." She mused to herself (even if it ended up being aloud) as she popped her neck with some head moves and leg spread in the ground near one Tia Baker.
