▌Wrestling: She had taken an interest in it once she learned self defense as part of the job, whenever facing people meaning to do harm to others while she would do her job. She decided to take it on as a part time job whenever she wasn't on duty or on vacation. She knows plenty of holds and slams to be an above average wrestler.

▌Brawling: Was the first thing she leaned as a child, she has amazing self control to make sure she wouldn't go in head first and usually waits until she is sure her opponent will strike or is unable to strike at her properly before she goes in for a counter or an attack.

Started off as a Junior Firefighter, just a bunch of kids who took classes in their city to experience what it was like to be a firefighter. It was nothing serious off course, just very, very small fires that the team of kids needed to put down, basically harmless on it's own and to rescue dolls while doing so. It was a fun experience, one that Maki absolutely loved doing. She did it so many times that they even promoted her to ' Little Leader ', to lead the kids into doing it perfectly! This was all for fun and games but she did show how good she was with teaming up and being an example for others to follow, this was all a quality for the future.

Maki didn't grow out of that phase and joined the Firefighters when she was at the age of 18, an appropriate age to learn and grow to join the higher ranks. Again she showed that she was way above her fellow peers but did not brag about it and rather focused on bringing others to her level and to share the burdens. A new rule was applied two years later after various incidents where people were stopping Firefighters from doing their jobs because they were either too violent or fire starters, both which should be handled by the police but weren't on time. She took self defense class and trained her body to it's limits, always crossing that limit to make sure she was never at a certain level, but also going above it.

When it came to her interest in wrestling, it was mainly as a side show when she noticed people training and sparring, though ultimately after watching the AFW matches that were nearby, she took a greater interest in it and signed up for matches out of fun and to train herself to be a better fighter, both for her actual job and for self defense.
