Physical fitness has always been an integral part of success for any fighter. However, there are things that are no less important. And one of these things is patience. Karen knew that sometimes you just have to wait. In this case, she was ready to wait until the Black Fang realized that Karen would not stop. And patience paid off, because after several punches to the head of the superheroine, Hawk Moth felt that she could breathe freely.

However, before she could take advantage of her newfound freedom, her jaw felt in all its glory the hard elbow, which the Black Fang sent as a gift. The Japanese girl gasped because of pain, but after a moment it became clear that the gifts did not end. After all, the long-haired brunette kicked Hawk Moth directly in the chest to push the street fighter away from herself. It worked and Karen was thrown back.

All right... let's see if you can keep up with this”, - flashed through the head of the street fighter.

Patience was a great thing. But sometimes it needs to be sent to hell! Because now the girl decided to take advantage of the suddenness. Taking a deep breath to kick back the pain in her jaw and chest, Karen intended to roll back to take a low start position. And without losing a single second, the street fighter was determined to run to her rival in order to shorten the distance before the Black Fang get to her feet and understand what was going on. And if this rush turned out to be quite unexpected enough, then Karen would take a leap forward, putting her left knee in the direction of the superheroine’s head in order to realize her signature move - zip-zap!

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect - Page 2 Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

The Black Fang had wanted space, and she got space. Definitely could not complain on that front. Hawk Moth was proving to be a persistent kind of fighter, and that could lead to headaches, she knew, but she was starting to get a feel for the way the woman fought. Aggressive, in-your-face, direct.

She had tools for that. She just had to figure out the best way to use them. It definitely wouldn’t be on the floor, struggling to get up like a capsized turtle, so when she created the space between the two of them, she was quick to rise, hoping to get back on her feet so she could regain her lost ground.

Hawk Moth had other ideas, though. Ideas that involved her knee.

The Black Fang had just started to sit up when the attack came in, striking her square in the face, right on the nose. She fell back to the earth with her arms splayed and her eyes wide, dazed, not sure what train had just hit her.

A venomous smile appeared on Karen's face as her knee rammed the Black Fang's face. The Japanese girl landed on her knees and looked at her rival, who at that moment was lying on her back with her arms spread wide and her gaze almost absent.

Karen was determined to grab her stunned opponent by the hair and in one sharp jerk make the brunette rise to her feet. And, not forgetting the gift that the Black Fang generously presented to Hawk Moth a few moments earlier, the street fighter intended to respond in the same way. And so that her rival would remain stunned, Karen was going to send a generous elbow strike directly to the Black Fang's chin as a gift from the muay thai fighter.

And if her plan to leave her rival stunned would have been successful, then Karen would gladly continue this success. Because in this case, she was determined to clasp the neck of the Black Fang with both hands, reliably fixing the side headlock. And then it was only a matter of technically, because Hawk Moth was determined to take a few quick steps forward, dragging the long-haired brunette behind her, but only to then jump forward, sending the Black Fang's face directly to the canvas! And thereby realizing one of her favorite moves - running bulldog!

Woof.

That about summed up the Black Fang’s current state. The match had only really begun, what? Two, three minutes ago? Hawk Moth was already proving to be quite a handful, more than she’d bargained for at the outset. Newcomers were supposed to be easy pickings, but here she was, on her back already, laid out. Get your head in the game, get focused, get your head straight - she could swore she heard her teacher chiding her from ringside. Might’ve just been the blood swirling about her weary head, though.

She was just thinking about getting up when Hawk Moth decided to come over and help her out with that. A kind gesture, really, but Black Fang would’ve preferred she not done so by yanking her hair.

She barely had time to complain to the referee before her head was pulled tight into a side headlock, clutched in a strong grasp. She had a fairly good idea what was coming next, but she didn’t have the strength to push Hawk Moth away at the moment. Which meant only one thing: she was about to go for a ride.

Up and down she went, hurled forward and brought down hard with the bulldog, her face crashing hard into the mat. She wasn’t doing good before, and no, this didn’t help matters - all she could do for the moment was lay there, groaning, trying her best to recoup before Hawk Moth could continue her assault.

Indeed. Karen did not have the habit of deceiving herself or others, and she was well aware of the state of things. She was not born yesterday and understood very well that usually an experienced fighter perceives a beginner with a certain degree of leniency. Yes, of course, there are exceptional moments when a newcomer, who first appeared in a real fight, shows a high level of skill. However, Hawk Moth was not the first time in fight.

She was a street fighter. And she was a fighter in essence. Fighting is not the meaning of her life, but it is a way of her existence. The Japanese girl refused to follow in the footsteps of her diplomat father. Anyone needs money to live. And she decided to earn with what she knew best. And best of all, she knew how to knock shit out of people. Despite her inherently non-conflict nature...

Raising the Black Fang to her feet, the street fighter felt that her rival could not resist after a direct knee strike to her pretty face. And therefore, nothing prevented her from completing her bulldog by rigidly pushing the face of the superheroine to the floor of the ring. The girl let go of her rival's head and looked at her briefly while she moaned because of pain. Karen snorted briefly. She was an ordinary person. She did not like to hurt other people, especially beautiful girls because of her diverse outlook on relationships. However, it was a job. And a job to be done.

That is why Karen was not going to give her black-haired rival time for rest. Hawk Moth was determined to grab Black Fang's arm and lift her to her feet with one jerk. However, she needed Ryoko to straighten up and did not interfere with what Karen came up with for her. And to achieve both of these goals, the girl did not find a better move than to continue to hold the right hand of the Black Fang with her left hand, and use her right hand to send a hard uppercut to the brunette's chin.

If this plan worked quite efficiently, then Karen would go on her signature move without remorse. She intended to bend down to grab Ryoko’s waist, and then straighten up, raising her opponent in the air and turning her body in the air like a helicopter blade 270 degrees. But all this would be a complete show if it did not have a spectacular conclusion. And that is precisely why Hawk Moth was determined to throw the Black Fang's back directly onto the knee extended forward, thereby completing her signature move called broken wing!

So, this was not going at all the way the Black Fang wanted it to. She admired a good fight, loved that it would test her and show the world what she could do, but this wasn’t what she was going for. Hawk-Moth was good, far better than she was expecting, and if things kept going in the direction they seemed to, well, it was only a matter of time before she wound up with her back on the floor for three seconds. Or worse.

But, as her teacher had taught her, wrestling could be a waiting game. Waiting for opportunities, waiting for the right timing, waiting for openings to show themselves. It was just a matter of the Black Fang keeping her wits about her, and as she lifted her up and prepared to force her attack, she knew it was coming.

Hawk-Moth’s uppercut was a sharp one, nearly bringing her to her knees and rattling her brain, leaving her chin numb on contact. She might have fallen over, if not for woman holding her up. Before she had the chance to try and make space, she was hoisted up high and held aloft, and then the spinning started.

The Black Fang was spun about, being set up for some big attack. She didn’t know and she didn’t want to know - as she was throw, she tried to grab Hawk-Moth’s skull with a headlock, swung her legs about, and attempted to hit her opponent with a snapping Tornado DDT.

Karen was sure that now she controls the course of the match. After all, she went with her every move without compromise. Here she did not feel anything personal. Each opponent was for her only an opponent. As long as her opponent follows the rules of decency and does not provoke the girl. In the end, it was just a way of her existence. She fought for money. She had an education, but she realized that best of all she can only do one thing - knock shit out of people.

That is why she intended to send her rival down. The Black Fang did nothing against the uppercut Karen, who must have left the brunette stunned. Without grins and hesitations, Hawk Moth took advantage. She was fully confident that after her powerful bulldog and this uppercut, Ryoko was in her will. It was only necessary to untwist her well and send her down.

That's exactly what Karen did, grabbing her opponent by the waist, she began to unwind it so that her fall was as painful as possible. Be that as it may, the street fighter needed to win. And in order to win, she had to beat her rival. For better or worse, let others decide. It was important for Karen to do her job. At the crucial moment, when she was about to lower her rival's body down, she felt the hands of the Black Fang wrapped around her neck.

What?” - flashed through the head of a street fighter.

The girl felt her imbalance due to Ryoko throwing her legs to the side. Hawk Moth was unable to do anything with the fact that the impulse of her rival pulled the girl's body down. Karen's head collided with the mat at the incredible speed that the tornado DDT provided.

- AAAAAAaggrrrr!!!! - she cried.

Hawk Moth clutched at her face, which quickly turned red. Now her head was spinning as if she were in a centrifuge, but that did not stop her from feeling like her face burned after this throw. Being in agony, small drops appeared on the edges of the girl's eyes. Being completely unprepared for such a dizzying turn, she had no chance to group herself, and so now all she had to do was feel the damn pain.

There were few things that a wrestling crowd liked more than a good comeback, and as the Black Fang made her stand, they gave the appropriate reaction, cheering as she whipped her way around the Hawk Moth and scored the Tornado DDT. It had been a good while since she’d brought this move out, and never in an actual match, always in practice - it was good to see all that training with AJ had paid off for both of them.

It went off without a hitch, bringing Hawk Moth to the floor and drilling her into the canvas with her combined weight and momentum, making for a resonating crash. Black Fang went rolling away after the impact, but she put a stop to that as soon as she could, taking a look back at her opponent. She was stunned, reeling from the pain. It was only her first real move of the match, not her finisher...but she knew what to do in these circumstances.

Pin early, pin often.

Scrambling over, she dropped her chest onto Hawk Moth’s and hooked her left leg, pulling it up high and leaning in for the pin. She doubted she would get it, but it was worth a shot - if nothing else, it would make her foe waste energy kicking out. Never a bad thing.

The referee slid over and started the count up, slapping her palm on the mat. ”1…!”

If Karen said that she was in absolutely fine, then she certainly would have lied. There was a terrible annoying noise in her head that prevented her from concentrating, and this damned pain on her face literally made her skin burn. The Japanese girl was even a little surprised that no blood came out of her nose, although a metallic taste was distinctly felt in her mouth.

She is damn good...” - the girl thought about her rival.

And immediately after this thought, Karen felt that Ryoko turning her on her back. Not even a second passed before the chest of the Black Fang was pressed against her chest, and her leg was captured. She did not even have to open her eyes in order to understand what was happening. The clap of a palm near her ear made this very clear.

- One! - announced the referee, and the audience in the hall echoed this.

Karen opened her eyes and looked down, finding a bunch of black hair. A beautiful hair. After Lexi disappeared from her life, she ceased to have a passion for blondes, preferring red-haired girls. However, after her debut, one very unusual brunette was able to fill Karen's heart with something more than just passion. Since then, the street fighter has noticed that she is increasingly paying attention to things that were previously indifferent to her.

- Two! - sounded in the hall along with the second clap.

For Hawk Moth, it was even a little strange. Before joining AFW, her life was very measured. But after her first match, a real whirlpool began. The truth was that in recent years she has become a rather callous person. But, being here, Karen began to think about what she had not thought about before. She has not yet decided for sure, but perhaps she is starting to see in fights something more than just a way to earn a living. She laid her left hand on Ryoko’s shoulder.

- Thr...

Hawk Moth pulled her leg forward in order to break the brunette’s grip and with this she intended to pull her opponent by the shoulder to push Ryoko away from her and roll over on all fours, thereby interrupting the pin. Regardless of whether this match was just a way for Karen to earn a living or if there was something more here, she surely knew only one thing. She is stronger than they think of her, and she will not give up while she has at least a drop of energy. Not because she had high self-esteem, but because she knew a fair price for herself, and she would never allow anyone to use her as a doormat.

Black Fang had to admit - she was kind of surprised she’d gotten more than a two count off of that.

It hadn’t even been a real attempt at a pin, nothing that she seriously expected to work. She just wanted to slow Hawk Moth down and cut into her momentum, something that she desperately needed to do since this woman had run roughshod on her all throughout the opening exchange. The DDT was a good way to do that, but it was just a DDT. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d seen someone win a match with one, even the slick tornado variation.

When the referee’s hand hit for a second time, she’d figured that was all her luck could hope for, that Hawk Moth would kick off right after. But when the hand started to come down, she almost believed she’d stolen a quick win…

It wasn’t to be, sadly, since Hawk Moth kicked out right then and there, saving herself at the last second. But it was a good sign, proof that she was close to the edge and that, if the Black Fang kept this up, she could score a win. She just had to keep applying the pressure.

”Okay, then.” She huffed as she flopped away to her front, pushing up to her knees in short order after Hawk Moth flung her to the side. Spying her opponent nearby, she knew her window was open but closing fast - it would be too easy for a woman with this level of talent.

Pushing up to her feet, she rushed towards her opponent, trying to catch her unawares before she could make it all the way up. She brought her foot up as if she were about to hit Hawk Moth with a roundhouse kick to the face, but instead she twisted about and brought her instep crashing on the back of her opponent’s head, chopping her on the neck with her signature move - the Switchblade Kick.
