Chloe Mason vs. Drake Ishikawa

Kyoto. Chloe was back in Kyoto once again.

While some women in Friction may grumble for having to travel for a cross-promotion match, Chloe didn't mind at all. From the smile she had as she awaited for the stage hands while her bodyguards would tend to her needs, she was more than confident. Finding success in Tension, she was more known there than in Friction, her last match ended up with a victory and still undefeated. Streaks were not something she intends to have but it was quite amusing that she hasn't lost to a single male yet. From the looks of things, management decided to give her a bigger challenge. In more ways than one.

Drake Ishikawa was someone she hasn't heard of much and was confused to be a newbie. However, with more research, it turns out that he has been in Tension for a very long while. Some wins here, some embarrassing losses there, pretty much the usual when it comes to Tension. Not a regular, but much she could watch and analyse. Bigger than most challenges she has had so far, but size doesn't always matter. And since this was to be her first match in Tension this year, she was not going to disappoint the people that typically hungered to see more humiliation from the ex-commissioner.

Chloe Mason:

Her theme would play on the loudspeakers, and the crowd gave a better reception than before. More and more, people began to like Chloe and perhaps her post-match antics. Wherever they get to see it this time though, that would have to be seen. Her two bodyguards would be with her but instead they carried her on their shoulders as they walk down the ramp. A weight they could easily handle, given their size. Legs crossed as her presence commanded respect from the audience. Her index finger would twirl the golden locks of hair and her ruby lips curled into a sly smile. She always felt more comfortable in Tension. Perhaps due to the similarities of her own federation back in the States and this league.

They would reach the apron and Chloe would hop off, stepping into the apron and entering the ring with natural flair. While she usually takes off her heels before entering the ring, she didn't do so as Chloe strut around the ring. Hips naturally swaying side to side, the blonde leaned on the ropes, arms draped over. The bodyguards would part to the sides of the barricade in the meanwhile. She could not wait to see the supposed 'Demon' up close and personal.

Drake had brushed up a little bit on his opponent before hand because it had been some time since he had been signed up for a match.  Upon reading what he could about Chloe he learned her background was quite the opposite of his, she was cocky, arrogant, full of herself.  He had also saw she was not particularly mean despite this, he could admire and respect her confidence and where she came from since she didn't seem like a malicious individual,  Drake also took note of her particular brand of fighting style and had a rough idea of what he was up against.  Trying to give himself a clear mind he would take a few more hits off of his cigarette and take down a shot of his favorite brand of rum before making his way back in to see her entrance as they prepped him for his own.

Watching Chloe strut around the stage and show herself off to the crowd he took a deep breath and sighed calmly clearing his head to focus as the lights went dim on the ring.

Smoke would creep out from backstage as choir like hymns could be heard from the speakers queuing his intro theme "Devil's Never Cry".  Drake would slowly appear from back stage, His unzipped hoody covering his face as his leather trench coat covered him like a giant cloak while he faced the ring.  The vocals would soon begin as the music shifted for a quicker metal like melody, timed perfectly as the pyrotechnics went off from the ramp all the way to the ring just as the music picked up pace.  Ripping off his beloved trench coat and hoody with a fierce and grim animalistic growl on his face, he would rush towards the ring, lunging to make his way in, sliding beneath the ropes before throwing his arms up in display for the crowds cheers, He did his best to get people pumped and excited though he wouldn't call himself much of a showman.

His intro now over with he would face Chloe for the first time, his face looking stern and serious for his persona yet his eyes calm and inviting as he bowed formally to his opponent before stepping back into a defensive stance, waiting for the bell to ring.  He had sported his usual look in the ring, a pair of black combat boots, black muscle shirt and black silkish like shorts, his hands lightly bandaged as he towered over his opponent but did not for a moment underestimate her.  His hazel blue eyes locked to her shoulders, making sure not to get distracted looking into her eyes or anywhere else she might intend to dazzle him with.  Running his right hand through his dirty blond spikes he awaited words or actions from her before the match began.

In her many showings in the AFW ring, wherever Friction or Tension, Chloe seems to have garnered mixed reactions from the fans wherever to place her. Some mention her name in admiration. Some in spite. The ex-commissioner knew she wasn't going to be the most liked out of most veterans but her knack for humiliation has made Chloe a fan favourite since her matches tend to always end in a spectacular manner.

And during her time in AFW, she had come to expect the weird and the wonderful that this federation had to offer. So as the fellow American arrived on top of the ramp, with all of his theatrics, she was definitely not surprised. She had been born watching the glitz and glamour of wrestling, their gravitas to the point it was all natural. Silently, she could judge the entrance and it was done very well. It was certainly 'in your face' with how blatant the Demon theme is, from the colours, the cloak, the gear, the very presence that he emits.... least she isn't far off looking like a demon hunter.

A for effort, it is.

And a lot more focused than some of the males she had faced during her time in Tension. The blonde looked up with curiosity. So many ways she could play this, but must settle for one. Her eyebrow raised as Drake would now to her. Very nice. He has manners. Could be better in the "prostrate department"....

"I know you are tall, but my eyes are up here." Said Chloe, noticing he is looking down below, but not level to her breasts. She would know if he was. "Would save your neck a lot of strain~"
