Out With The Old, In With The New

"A'right....so this is the place..." He muttered to himself, looking up from the papers of the address and details of the new pub he has claimed ownership off. The Pig & Whistle. His first impressions when he first saw it with his very own eyes? Well, its definitely a true British Pub. It wasn't as big as The Brunel back where he lived in England, but it's pretty standard. If anything, it reminds him of the very first pub that he worked. The Iron Arm. "Fair enough. Let's take a good look at ya." Anyone passing him in the streets would probably hear his strong Cockney accent, instantly giving himself away as a foreigner. Well, just everything about him gave himself away as a foreigner, the tall man not really doing anything to hide it. Getting the keys of the place, he unlocks the locks before entering in.

The Briton went inside and instantly there was a smile when he saw the inside of this place. Yep, definitely looks like the Iron Arm, has that distinct feeling of it all. He didn't think Japan would care much about something like this but this certainly has the pub feel, the pub look and the pub soul. Memories of his young self working behind the bar and serving drinks, partying around with the lads, watching football on T.V (or soccer for the bloody yanks)....it was all there. He didn't think he would be owning a pub of his own, was content with just being behind the bar for all of his life. But somehow, life gave him this opportunity, the chance to be successful in his life. A new purpose. Couldn't get any better than that.

Placing the papers on the mahogany table, he gets a glass and grabs a bottle of the strongest whiskey ever, a parting gift from the previous owner. Pouring into the glass, he would raise it up as if giving a toast to the many in attendance when it's only just him. "To new beginnings and whatnot." He chuckles before taking a sip...and a cough after realizing the previous owner wasn't lying that it is strong. "Wooah, fuck me." He'll have to get more of that. While he enjoys the drink, the papers lay on the table. One of them under the lease was a form from AFW. The Pig & Whistle wasn't the only place that he was looking forward to....
