Isabella heads to the Diner

Isabella was on her way home from the match that she had earlier. She was pretty beat up. She wasn't expecting the match to be as hard as it was, but it was her first match, and she'd have to get used to it. She wasn't having any second thoughts after the match, but it was a wake up call to how hard she'd need to train if she wanted to be able to compete against better, and tougher opponents in AFW.

Isabella was unfamiliar with area around her. She hadn't been around the area much due to being a relatively new wrestler, and she was deciding on whether or not she should explore the area. She was pretty beat up after her last match, so the thought of going home, and relaxing was tempting to Isabella. She was about to just head home and rest, but then her stomach grumbled loudly. She was pretty hungry, and she was feeling a little too lazy, and didn't want to make any food herself, and so she decided to go around searching for a place to eat.

Soon after, her phone began to ring. Isabella rarely ever gets phone calls, and she certainly wasn't expecting one now. She pulled her phone out from her bag, and answered it. "Hello.." she said into the phone. She didn't have a smartphone, she had a simpler, and cheaper phone, as she never saw the need in the apps available for smart phones. "M-Mum!" she exclaimed, surprised. She seemed to have turned a couple heads with her sudden outburst, but she ignored this. She started walking idly whilst on the phone, trying to find a place to eat, no longer paying too much attention to where she was going to eating, as she was now more concerned with her conversation.

"Am I hurt? Why do you ask?" Isabella was taken off guard by the random question from her mother. She was always concerned with her well being, but she thought after she was given permission to leave home, her mother would stop treating her like a child. "Oh, you watched the match?" At this point in the phone conversation, Isabella was receiving a lecture from her mother about staying safe. Her mother knew how much Isabella loved fighting, but she hated the thought of seeing her hurt, or in a hospital. Having to watch Isabella's match was painful for her, as she hated every moment of when Isabella was on the receiving end. "You're right mum, I'm sorry" Isabella's mum knew she was injured before the match started, and she was furious about it. Especially after finding out it only happened due to Isabella not being able to control her own temper.

Soon, Isabella reached a Diner, and she entered it, whilst still chatting to her mother. Her conversation with her mother had boiled down now, and it was mostly idle chatter, with both of them talking about how things have been for them from the last time they've spoke. Isabella found a place to sit close to a window, and went on to end her conversation with her mother. "I've got to go now. I'll talk to you later." She said into the phone quietly. She was in a Diner now, and so she wanted to keep her noise down to prevent herself from disturbing anyone. Dispite her knowing martial arts, allowing her to fight off most people if they were to try to fight her, she tries her best to not start fights with people, in order to prevent herself from seriously injuring people who aren't as skilled as her.

As soon as the call ended, she put her phone down, and let out a sigh. She put her bag down in the seat next to her, and proceeded to look at the menu.
