AV 17 Tag Title: Imperial Order (c) vs. Masuyo & Valley Doll

Gwendolyn appreciated the attempt from Akiha to distract Valley into giving the heiress an opening, but she felt it best to leave such loquacious warfare to the professional's. Belittling and deriding her opponent's into making a costly mistake was one of Gwen's innumerable forte's, and was something she genuinely enjoyed taking part in as it more often than was a highlight of her matches.

The tension was becoming quite palpable as both of the blonde-haired counterparts to their respective teams began to encroach upon each-other with honed grappling stances that showcased the seasoned caliber of athletes in the ring. Though it was quite unorthodox for Gwendolyn to accept a test of strength given her propensity towards avoiding direct confrontation, the heiress appeared dead-set on doing just that as she inched closer and closer towards Valley with their open hands about to come into contact...

...only for Gwen to abruptly sidestep beside Valley and take a poised and tranquil stroll towards the ropes. The pompous aristocrat showing her back to Valley as she began examining her polished finger nails and wiping nonexistent dust off of her shoulders in what was a blatant attempt at playing mindgames with Valley. A resounding chorus of booing than sounding off from Gwendolyn prolonging the beginning of the hyped up match...

It wasn't that Gwen found Valley to be an absolute non-threat to her illustrious title reign...well, not entirely that. Gwendolyn merely wished to make doubly sure that her well-manicured nails were in pristine condition as befitting a lady of her nobility~...as well as sew seeds of doubt and second-guessing her decisions into Valley who seemed to be laser focused on this match. Where as Gwen took it all in pompous stride~...a level of confidence meant to unnerve her opponent's as well.

"Ah~...my apologies. We should get matters underway, shouldn't we? We're certainly not getting any younger...well, some of us more obviously than others~...Do try to keep up, Madam Doll..." Gwen snarkily quipped after turning back to Valley, a blatant call back to what Val had stated earlier. Resuming her practiced wrestling stance while approaching Valley once more with steady steps, Gwen would patiently wait until they were well within arm's length before clamping onto her opponent's arm and twisting it to her side. The heiress attempting to apply a contorting arm wringer with an added forearm strike to Valley's shoulder for added measure.

The subject of Valley's advanced age was such a glaringly obvious target that Gwendolyn saw little sport in exploiting it against the elderly high-flyer. The heiress enjoyed challenging herself when it came to belittling her opponent's, therefore she opted to avoid the subject during the promo segment and as for as long as possible until the perfect moment came along to throw it back into Valley's aged face. Which just so happened to be right then and there.

A swift sidestep and a firm twist of Valley's arm were all Gwen needed to establish control over Valley, a twisting turn of the Californian's wrist and a pelting forearm strike to her shoulder all intended to get Valley hunched over and in as much stinging discomfort as possible. With even more effort given towards delivering a snarky comment or two.

"The only embarrassment this night will be whatever shoddy performance you muster up before you find yourself sharing yet another similarity between yourself and our mutual compatriot, Haley. And that is suffering a humbling defeat at my dignified hands~... Gwen taunted with a smirk while maintaining and gradually adding to the twisting torque of the arm wringer.

Gwendolyn never was one to miss an opportunity make use of her long-winded lexicon. Call it a byproduct of years of scholarly tutoring since she was a wee lad. But whatever you called it, Gwendolyn noticed it was already visibly aggravating Valley. Indicating to the heiress that she should continuing using her loquacious talents to continue getting into the head of the elderly Californian.

Regretfully, Gwendolyn's momentary advantage was just that...momentary. A nimble tuck and roll and fleet-footed kip-up impressing the audience and annoying the heiress as she suddenly found herself on the receiving end of the twisting armwringer.

Wincing sharply while clasping her tortured shoulder, Gwen patted her pained socket as a method of enduring the stinging spikes of pain. She remained steadfast in not eliciting anything resembling a pained groan though. Instead she turned turned her head back towards Valley to glance up at her with an irate glare in her eyes.

"You’ll lose just like Haley did..."

Someone of Gwendolyn's noble stature and dainty physique simply wasn't accustomed to enduring prolonged periods of pain. As evidenced by the cringing irritation on her posh face when a pelting forearm strike briefly brought her down to one knee. She managed to immediately lifting herself back up but still with a hunched over posture.

The heiress would have preferred giving Valley a much more verbose piece of her mind were she not indisposed at the moment. Instead, to keep her mind focused on her current predicament she opted to keep her witty rejoinders brief, succinct, and foreboding.

"Perhaps...but actions always speak louder than words." Gwen stated while glaring back up at Valley, the heiress than demonstrating remarkable agility by cartwheeling herself forward until she was back on her feet with the arm wringer reversed, and with her own hands now reapplying the maneuver back on Valley. But with a violent twist, as Gwen reared the arm back and slammed Valley' shoulder into the canvas in a snap arm wringer.
