Amelia likes to believe that she is the typical young twenty-two year old girl, and while that might be true, not many girls are massive otakus/geeks and are trained in ninjutsu. She doesn't let it get to her if people think that her likes and hobbies are weird. In fact, she takes pride in it, as it's a part of who she is. Better than when she was younger of course. Amelia is a pleasant young girl with her own aspirations, melodramatic fears and optimistic charms. Always inquisitive, Amelia loves to learn new things, especially of the culture of Japan. Easy to get along and treats people as she is treated. If you're friends with her for long, her cheeky side can shine and does like playing ninja pranks. Her love for all things manga, anime, and pretty much anything to come from Japan would certainly get her rambling on. She does have a bit of a tendency to annoy those who are actual Japanese, although she honestly doesn't mean to.

Strategy/Style: To overwhelm and pressure her opponents with blistering speed and attacks that comes from any angle is Amelia's gameplan. Her style focuses on her martial arts training, particularly Ninjutsu. Well, "American" and "Traditional" Ninjutsu mixed with Puroresu style wrestling. She puts her speed and skill to good use with her fast strikes high flying moves and some tricky submissions. Always keeping herself a moving target for her opponent, it is as if she hates to stay still for long as Amelia would dance and zip around the ring, having good awareness to her surroundings. Because of her size, she isn't the hardest hitter, but her ariel maneuvers can give the power that she needs.

Past/History: Amelia is an odd girl. It may sound a little harsh to say so, but it's true. It's not so much the fact that she's a colossal nerd, as much as the way she goes about it. From a very early age Amelia has been obsessed with all things geeky: Sci-Fi and Fantasy; Comics; Manga an Anime, Videogames, Roleplaying; etc. You name it and she was into it.

Her father may be partially responsible for this: taking her to conventions since before she was able to walk; making sure she grew up knowing Klingon and Elvish (both Quenya and Sindarin); giving her a comic book stipend separate and from her regular allowance, and many more things like that. She was sawing her own costumes by the time she was 8.

Amelia has never been shy about her hobbies, and this tended to get her in trouble with the mean girls at her school, given that she grew up in an area where this type of interests were frankly ridiculed. At first she answered their taunts with a biting sarcasm that (even to this very day) colors every single word coming out of her mouth. This however, only achieved the result of getting her beat up and thrown in dumpsters on a regular basis. Not one to take such things lying down, she decided that escalation was the appropriate response. They bullied her with words... so she drowned them in sarcasm. They answered the sarcasm with slaps and kicks in the shins... so she would go fracking ninja on their asses. Keep in mind; she was 9 years old at the time.

After trying and being disappointed by the various McDojos in her town, she decided to apply the Karate Kid solution and find her very own Mr. Miyagi. So she started bugging every single Asian person she could find, assuming they were a secret martial arts master. (This was born not out of racism but of a 9 year-old's sense of logic and reading too many Mangas). She became such a monumental annoyance to the Asian community in the town that the only way they could find to get rid of her was to actually find a real Martial Arts teacher for her. Every single one of them started calling family, friends and acquaintances searching for a true Master in order to placate the tiny blonde plague.

Eventually they found one. Mr. Zhang was retired, independently wealthy and bored out of his mind, so it didn't take much convincing to get him to move into town to the house of his granddaughter's sister-in-law so he could teach some little girl with delusions of being a ninja. (And play golf. Old Man Zhang loved his golf, and the courses in Amelia's town were much better than those where he'd been living*)

And teach her he did. Under Old Man Zhang's tutelage the smart-ass young nerd developed into a finely tuned fighting machine. And to the bullies deep misfortune, Old Man Zhang's philosophy when it came to martial arts wasn't the peace-loving, "only for defense" kind; it was the "if they mess with you, put them in the ground" type. He also didn't feel the least bit of guilt about stealing anything that might work from other fighting styles; so while Amelia's fighting style might come off as mostly ninjustu, in fact it incorporates elements from Muay Thai, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Kung Fu, Boxing, Wrestling, etc, etc.

Amelia's splits her time between training/fighting and working as a model/professional cosplayer at conventions and events. She has a whole room at her house where the awards she's won for her costumes are side by side with the belts she's won fighting. The US of A is a big country, but there was so much the world can offer her. And it is no surprise that she did set her sights on AFW. A nice wrestling organisation in Japan, a country home to most of her favorite things? Why not!
