Now was when things got confusing.

That wasn’t to say that hadn't’ been confusing to some degree before. In truth, they’d been downright baffling before, for a variety of reasons. Army had lost track of things, likely because of the head trauma, but he wasn’t quite sure how they’d gone from a perfectly sensible match in the ring to the utter chaos that it was like now.

He squirmed about in the wreckage, trying to make sense of it, and he looked up the referee just in time to watch her get beaned in the skull with a microphone. He gazed to the side, saw James looking pretty pleased with himself, and the pieces clicked together in a hurry.

”Oh, come on.” Army rolled off of Jessica, shifting about in the pile of debris. ”Why the fuck did you go and do that? The match is over now, all of that shit was for nothing!”

James looked at Army. It was a legitimate question, he supposed. True, there was going to be no real winner, nor no real loser of this match. But that was totally fine with him. He half expected that he would drag Jessica down to a defeat, and was amazed that they had made it this long. Anything extra was just that - extra. And it wasn't like he actually cared that much anyways. He wanted to do well, sure, but mostly he was just in it for the violence.

"Because why not." And with that, James rushed forward. The hard blow from the table was slowing him down, but not so much that he could not get a solid head of steam going. His legs pumped as he approached his male counterpart, and with a flourish he flung himself into the air.

He knew that this was going to hurt. The aerial ace recognized that the ground below him was not the mat that had some give. No, it was the concrete that his body would be slamming against in a second's time. But he hoped that his hard side slamming into Army's body would hurt a lot more.

Jessica, for what it was worth, rolled off of Carmen. She was not doing so hot herself, but she was too pained to see what was going on around her.
