Contendership Round 3: Chigusa Yuuki Vs. Dixie Clemets

"I'm sorry Dixie," Chigusa said, "I just want to end this quickly."

After punching Dixie in the gut and doubling her over, Chigusa decided to try setting up for a big attack. She would try to grab Dixie in a frontal facelock, then when she has her hold secured, she would fall backward and slam Dixie's head to the mat in a DDT.

Dixie was barely holding on. She was so tired and weak that any attack or blow she took was devastating. Dixie's arms dangled once Chigusa grabbed her in the face lock, Dixie not able to resist as she tried to gather her air and soon she was dropped, her face slamming into the mat. "UNNGH!!" Dixie settled on her stomach, stars dancing about her head as she was dizzied and stunned further...

Chigusa didn't know how much longer she could keep up her attacks. Even a simple move like a DDT took a lot of energy out of her, energy that she needed. Perhaps Dixie was holding back so Chigusa could wear herself out and be easily beaten? Chigusa knew she had to end this quickly. With Dixie on the mat again, Chigusa hooked one of Dixie's legs and pinned her down.

"One!" the referee yelled, signalling the pin again.

"Ohh... mm....ohhh..." Dixie moaned with each deep breath she took, feeling like the whole arena was spinning around her which only furthered her dizziness. She felt her leg get hooked up and Yuuki's weight distribute across her chest once again. The cowgirl's arms rested above her head along the mat and she couldn't move. She was so very tired, and she really needed to land a large blow on her opponent. But Chigusa was proving a little too quick at the moment...

Chigusa was beginning to feel hopeful again, that she would be able to win this match after all. Dixie seemed very much out of it after the DDT. Even though she didn't want to win this way, since neither of them were fighting at their full potential, she didn't mind. After all, there would still be many matches after the tournament.

"Two!" the referee yelled. Chigusa began to hope Dixie wouldn't be able to do anything in the next few moments. "C'mon, just a bit more..." Chigusa murmured to herself.

DIxie didn't move more than very slowly turning her head from one side to the other. She was out of gas and it didn't help that she usually had trouble with this particular kind of pinning position. The cowgirl moaned softly again but her shoulders couldn't leave the mat and the second count sounded. Dixie's hooked leg dangled lifelessly in the air and in a match where it could of gone either way since both girls were just about equally as drained, it seemed Chigusa would come out on top this time. Dixie's chest rose and fell as she drew deep breaths, but she couldn't shake off the wooziness...

"Sorry about this Dixie," Chigusa said, "But maybe later, we can have a real match when we're at our best!"

"Three!" the referee yelled. Chigusa had won, but for some reason she didn't feel the same kind of satisfaction as she felt before. She got up off of Dixie and held a hand down to help Dixie up.

Dixie panted on her back a few moments, looking up at her victorious opponent. She felt the wave of disappointment hit her and sighed, closing her eyes. The larger, thicker cowgirl simply ran out of gas first after coming so close to winning this tournament. Dixie opened her eyes and took Chigusa's hand and used her help to get back up, "Thanks, Chi. Yes, Ah'd like to give ya a bettuh match when I'm 100%. Congratulations." Dixie nodded and did her best to smile. She had really wanted to win but Chigusa had gotten two big moves back to back.

"I'm looking forward to it," Chigusa said. She raised her hand in the air, the hand that was also still holding onto Dixie's, as the crowd cheered for both of them. Then, with a nod and a smile, Chigusa left the ring, heading backstage to prepare for the final contendership match.
