Zarya the Iron Soldier vs Linda Halloween

Taking a tumble over the top rope was never fun. Somehow it was usually an even more painful experience then it looked. Thankfully, in the case of Zarya Volkov, it didn't involve landing directly on her head. Everything *else* seemed to hurt, though, and she groaned as she got to her feet, grabbing for the ring apron for support. The fans were being really obnoxious, but this time Zarya ignored them. Her fighting with the idiot fans had emboldened them enough. When their cheering raised dramatically in volume, Zarya knew instinctively what it meant. Linda was going to try something.

Zarya glanced up just in time to see Linda jump down towards her. The Russian native moved, just enough to take the axe-handle blow on her shoulder instead of her head, earning a low grunt from the Iron Soldier as pain shot through her. It was necessary to absorb some punishment to do what she really wanted... Catching Linda Halloween out of mid-air with a second bear hug!

If Zarya managed that, she wouldn't waste time maintaining the hold. Instead she'd rush towards the metal ring post to slam Linda back against it.

Linda would stand on the apron as the fans were clearly behind her as she looked down on the Russian before jumping down towards her opponent as she formed a axe handle with her hands. From their the plan when off course as it seemed the Iron soldier knew that the American was about to go for an attack as rather then Zarya's head the axe handle made contact with her opponent's shoulder.

To make matters go from disappointing to terrible was the fact that Zarya was able to wrap her arms around the blond's waist before the former navy seal could touch the ground with her feet. Trapped in the Russian's arms as the American was expecting her opponent to put on the pressure as Linda was trapped in a bear hug would soon wish Zarya did just that. As it Iron soldier had a different idea and would rush forward to slam the former navy seal's back first into the steel ring post as the referee watched on from inside the ring.

Once Linda made her leap to the outside, the referee began the count over. "One!" The women had to the count of twenty before being disqualified and counted out. Zarya heard the ref begin the process, but in that moment she didn't care. She had her american rival trapped in her arms, and her only concern was causing her as much pain as humanly possible, as quickly as she could.

The Iron Soldier accelerated, rushing towards the steel ring post and *slamming* Linda back against it with all of her considerable strength, hopefully striking the back of the former SEALS head against the post as well. "How does that feel?" Zarya asked, her voice as cold as a Siberian winter. "Think I did any permanent damage?" Still holding the blonde in her arms, Zarya tightened her grip and truly reapplied the bear-hug, beginning to put terrible pressure on the Americans lower back and ribs.

She only held the hold for a matter of seconds, however, before she realized what the referee was doing.

"Nine!"

"Ten!"

"Damn it." Zarya growled under her breath and practically threw Linda, back first, to the hard surface of the floor. "Have fun trying to make the count." The Russian said before rolling into the ring. She got to her feet, watching to see if Linda made it into the ring in time before the count of twenty. She glared at the crowd as they began to rally, desperate to push Linda on with their chanting as the ref continued the count.

"U.S.A!"

"Eleven!"

"U.S.A!"

Linda would scream in agony as she feels her back being slammed into the steel ring post as the Iron Soldier was not holding back anymore as the bearhug was placing a terrible pressure on her lower back and ribs. Not even having the time to reply as she got tossed to the ground as the referee was counting to twenty and just yelled out 10 as Zarya was not kidding that it would be difficult for her to make it back inside the ring before the count of 20.

Meanwhile the AFW fans were fully behind her as they started chanting USA as one as the former navy seal would feel she was leaving them all down if she did not give her best effort to try and get inside the ring before the referee counted to twenty. Struggling to make it back to her belly and from their go to her hands and knees as the referee yelled out ''Twelve''.

Crawling towards the ring as the fans and ref screamed as loud as they could as before the American could touch the apron she would already hear the referee yell out ''fifteen''. Biting on her lower lip as she pulled herself back onto her feet to somehow be able to stand up as she ref yelled '' sixteen ..... Seventeen'' . Trying to slide under the ropes as the ref was counting towards twenty as she hoped to make it back inside with what appeared to be just a second to spare.

Zarya watched the truly heroic effort made by her american rival to make it back into the ring, urged on by the annoying chants of U.S.A. The Iron Soldier glared at the referee more then once when she felt the count was going a bit too slowly. Why couldn't that idiot official count a little faster?

In the end, Linda Halloween managed to slide under the bottom rope with only a couple of seconds to spare. The crowd roared their approval... and Zarya exploded with anger and frustration at being denied an easy count-out victory. The Russian didn't allow Linda to rise before she moved in to start stomping wildly on the american, aiming for her head, her back, whatever she could reach. Regardless of how much damage she managed to do in that short time, the assault only lasted a matter of a few seconds before the referee got involved.

"She's in the ropes!" The ref yelled at her, "Break!"

Zarya snarled something vicious under her breath but she would indeed back off a few paces.

Linda was relieved as she made it back just in time while the fact the fans were chanting U.S.A was giving the blond strength as she tried to crawl forward and get her whole body inside the ring. Expecting the Russian to take it out on the ref for a while gave the former navy seal the idea she got more time that she actually had as while Zarya did glare at the referee for a moment was smart enough not to waste time on shouting at the official.

So with about 2/3 of her body being inside the ring she would be unable to protect herself as her legs where still under the ropes as the Russian started to stomp down on her body attacking her head and back. While this was going on the blond was forced to take it until the referee got involved and pointed out because of the fact her legs during the attack had touched the ropes and forced Zarya to break away.

Laying their for a moment onto her belly the former navy seal would find renewed strength from the fans as they once again started chanting ''USA..USA...USA'' while clapping . This gave Linda the strength to get her whole body inside of the ring and slowly rise to her knees.

It was a heroic moment for Linda Halloween, climbing into the ring just shy of being counted out, weathering the harsh blows from her opponent, urged on by the endless chants of USA, USA! The crowd erupted when Linda finally made it into the ring and the ref stepped in to enforce the rules.
 
Of course, there was one individual who was most certainly *not* celebrating. The grinding of Zarya's teeth was almost audible as she glared at Linda. She hated this woman, and the crowd and the ref and it took all of her discipline not to do something that would earn an instant DQ. Then, she joined in with the applause, albeit in mocking fashion. 

"That's it! Go America!" The russian sneered, "You're going to wish you had stayed out of my ring and been counted out. Now you get choked out instead." 

Zarya stepped forward, aiming a kick for Linda face, looking to stun her. The russian wanted her American enemy in no condition to fend off what she had planned.

Linda barely made it back inside as she lay on the canvas panting but the constant chant of USA , USA gave the former navy seal the strength she needed to slowly rise to her knees. Still the look that she saw on the Russian's face that the American was able to see while she was on her knees and the sound of Zarya grinding her teeth made it clear that the former navy seal had to make it back to her feet soon. Luckily the Russian seemed more interested in arguing with the crowd then staying focused on her opponent which suited the blond just fine as every second she could get to regain her strength was something she could consider a blessing and not something she wanted to ruining by making a smarky remark that put the Iron soldier''s attention back on Linda.

Still even after the American made it back to her feet she was not to stable and so when Zarya when for a kick to Linda's face she was barely able to block it but at the cost of stumbling backwards allowing her opponent to lash out one more time if she acted quickly enough.

Zarya Volkov closed the distance quickly as Linda stumbled back after barely managing to block the russian's kick. Bringing her raw, brute strength to bear by attempting to reach an arm between the American's thighs and scooping Linda up into the classic position to believe a body slam.

If she succeeds in scooping Linda up off her feet, Zarya would turn away from the ropes, intending to complete the move and slam Linda down right in the center of the ring!

Linda was unbalanced when the Russian closed the distance after the kick she barely managed to block and got lifted off the canvas as Zarya scooped her up for a body slam. In an impressive feat of strength the Iron Soldier would turn around and walk away from the ropes as she when for a running body slam and planted the former navy seal in the middle of the ring.

Meanwhile some of the crowd were cheering for the Russian as these feats of strength seem to be impressing the fans as the match when on but for now most of the audience were still behind the American.
