Round Two Masane Tajiri vs. Yatori Shizuku

yatori_shizuku: Yatori had a good grip on Masane this time. She would crank on the wrist while trying for a one-armed sleeper hold around Masane's neck using her free arm.

Patrick OConnor: "Gnhh...." She groans, getting caught in the sleeper hold, and struggled around fiercely. "Gh.. get.. off me!"

yatori_shizuku : Yatori's reply was to tighten her arm around Masane's neck. Then she suddenly fell on her right knee while dragging Masane back first onto her left lap. Not quite a strike but a jolt nevertheless...

Patrick OConnor: "Ghn!" She gasped, forced to flop down with her and land on her rear. She tried to use her other arm to grasp up at her, trying to gain enough leverage to flip her over.

yatori_shizuku: Finding their position not as profitable as she initially deemed, Yatori released Masane and moved a few steps back. She eyed Masane's legs for a possible attack...

Patrick OConnor: Masane flopped to her back when Yatori let go and moved away. She shook out her arm for a moment before trying to stand back up, having not paid attention to where Yatori was at the moment.

yatori_shizuku: ... and seeing her chance, she made to grab and yank at both of Masane's ankles before the latter could stabilize her stance, intending to go for a Boston Crab this time

Patrick OConnor: "Gah!" She gasped, flopping onto her back as her legs were caught, and ended up trapped in Yatori's boston crab. "Nrrgghhh!! Let go!!"

yatori_shizuku: Yatori heard but didn't answer aside from trying to bend Masane into a C shape all the more

Patrick OConnor: "Naaaggghhh!!" She groaned as her back is worked out good, whimpering softly, and trying to crawl towards the ropes. "Get off me!!!"

yatori_shizuku: Yatori prolonged the hold for as long as she could, but Masane's powerful arms got them next to the ropes after a while. The Mafiosi immediately released and stepped off her opponent.

Patrick OConnor: Masane gasped loudly as soon as Yatori let go, her legs flopping to the mat, and she clutched her lower back, her face twisted in pain before she tried to work herself back to her feet. .oO(Damn it... come on Masane.. )

yatori_shizuku: Yatori positioned herself right behind the recovering Masane. Soon as the latter let go of the ropes, she would go for a quick suplex and then bridge for a pin.

Patrick OConnor: Masane gasped as she was grabbed behind the waist. "Gyahhh!!" She cried out as she suplexed, and grunts as her back is slammed against the mat, folded up and pinned down.

yatori_shizuku: Yatori kept the bridge as the referee counted "One! Two!"
Patrick OConnor: Masane clenched her teeth, trying to kick out hard. "Grahhh!!"

yatori_shizuku: Yatori grunted as Masane kicked out before the "Three" count. She rolled away from Masane to once more stalk her opponent from behind.

Patrick OConnor: "Grh... every time I turn around..." She growled, trying to sit up afterwards, and tried to throw an elbow backwards as she sat up, just in case she tried to grab her again.

yatori_shizuk: Seeing her chance, Yatori noiselessly pounced. Masane's elbow caught her straight in between her breasts. Startled more than pained, she grabbed at the offensive arm to wrench it.

Patrick OConnor: "Gh!! Arrhhh!!" She struggled as her arm was twisted behind her at the elbow while she was still down on her rear. She clenched her teeth in frustration, and tried to throw a hard upper with her free arm aimed for her jaw. "

yatori_shizuku: Yatori was busy wrapped up around Masane's arm when Masane's other arm entered the picture by jarring her jaw. Wincing, she released Masane, falling back several stepds

Patrick OConnor: Masane shook her head, trying to work to her feet the rest of the way, shaking out her arm and trying to move away from her, her body pretty sore after taking that assault from her.

yatori_shizuku (7/1/2009 12:17:47 PM): Yatori decided to move in frontally this time. Masane might be a striker, but Yatori had weakened her arm already, minimizing the danger from that end. She would seem to offer to lock up...

Patrick OConnor: Masane wasn't really up for a lock up after all the grappling and tried for a palm strike aimed for Yatori's gut to try and knock her away.

yatori_shizuku: ... instead she side-stepped the palm strike (Thank you, Momoko, she thought), grabbed Masane's arm and made to throw the karateka over her shoulder and onto the latter's back with a judo throw.
Patrick OConnor: "Wh!" She was surprised when Yatori caught her arm and flipped her over instead, landing on her back with a loud grunt, and was given a harsh reminder of her first match with the one she was after now, shaking her arm out slowly.

yatori_shizuku: Yatori grabbed the arm that Masane was shaking to trap in in between her legs for the crucifix armbar

Patrick OConnor: "Gah! N-noo!!" She cried out as she was too late to escape and was caught in the armbar fast. She shut her eyes tightly as intense pressure was put on her arm, knowing her arm could break in this submission if Yatori applied it hard enough.

yatori_shizuku: While Yatori wasn't interested in breaking arms, she wanted to make Masane tap, so she attacked the already hurt arm with such an intensity that could be mistaken for anger, trying to yank it out the socket without actually doing so while her legs crushed it.

Patrick OConnor: "Yeeeoowww!!" She cried out as her arm was wrenched back. She would've tapped out, had this been a normal fight, but she had to go on. Kirin was counting on her, and she needed to progress and take Makoto on in a rematch. She concentrated with every ounce of effort she had, and slowly tried to drag herself towards the ropes with her free arm.

yatori_shizuku: Yatori couldn't believe it. Though Masane took a while to do so, groaning and writhing all the way, she got to the ropes, forcing Yatori to release her. (I can't make her tap,) the Mafiosi thought as she stood up, (So I'll have to knock her out...)

Patrick OConnor: Masane was in pretty bad shape now, as she tried to work back up to her feet, her arms immesely sore, almost useless at the moment as it hurt to even move them. Her legs on the other hand.. they would be all right to use for now.

yatori_shizuku: Yatori would try to move in on Masane as she rose, possibly slip by her to get at her back anew...

Patrick OConnor: Masane had had enough of the attacks from behind, and would try to thrust her foot backwards as hard as she could, trying to floor her with a straight kick aimed for her gut.

yatori_shizuku: Yatori gagged sharply as every bit of breath was driven out of her by that pile driver-like limb. Doubled over, clutching her belly, all she could see was the mat before finally falling flat on her face. "Nnnn..."

Patrick OConnor: Masane stepped towards her as Yatori collapsed to the ground and tried to raise her leg up high and bring it down hard on the top of her head, trying to go for a KO from almost out of nowhere!

yatori_shizuku: Yatori never saw the blow come or land. She didn't even feel the pain. One moment she was staring, fairly teary-eyed, at the white mat, and then the next was... blackness. She had been knocked out cold by that stupendous blow to her head.

Patrick OConnor : Masane saw Yatori black out, and breathed a small sigh of relief before flopping down on her rear, catching her breath as the ref went to check on her.

yatori_shizuku: The ref found Yatori completely unresponsive, so she signalled for the bell and went to hold up the victorious Masane's arm.

Patrick OConnor: Masane stayed sat down, but her arm was still raised in victory. She then started to crawl towards her slowly, and shook Yatori lightly, trying to wake her back up.

yatori_shizuku: Yatori didn't stir one bit. Her eyes had rolled up to show their whites and her breathing was weak, but she didn't respond to Masane's prodding

Patrick OConnor: Masane looked around for a moment as Yatori didn't move. "Can we get some smelling salts here?" She called out..

yatori_shizuku: The referee grimaced. "Sorry, we'll just have her carried to the clinic," she explained. Indeed several nurses could now be seen emerging from the entrance with a stretcher. The nurses entered the ring to load the unresisting, unresponsive Yatori on the stretcher.
