Jack Frost vs Emily Flannigan: A meeting of Winter and Spring

"Thanks," Emily said, "Let's see what you've got."

Unfortunately, dazed as she was, she couldn't regain her feet before Jack. Faced with a trade on equal ground, Emily decided to charge in, trying to tackle Jack into the turnbuckle behind him.

Just as the winter spirit had gotten back on his feet, he felt Emily spear him in the gut, driving him into the turnbuckle and knocking the wind out of his sails. He cried out in pain before slumping in the corner, his arms over the top rope as he fought to regain his breathing. As skinny as he was, his body couldn't take power moves very well.

"Sorry about that," Emily teased, "You look like you need a hug."

With that, the Changeling would try to pick Jack up in a bearhug. Of course, even if she could manage this, she wasn't all that strong in the first place, so the hold wouldn't be all too difficult to break free of.

"Yeah..." Jack breathed, looking down as he tried to catch his breath, "A hug would be- arrgh!"

She lifted his lanky frame and began to squeeze tightly as he desperately tried to get away. Thinking fast, he tried to pull off a smirk as he looked at her.

"Hey gorgeous I know I'm good looking and all, but too much love and you might snap me in half!" he joked.

"Well, don't worry," Emily said with a chuckle, "I can always put you back together."

Bravado aside, Emily's tenuous grasp on Jack was being tested by the winter spirit's struggles, the Changeling unable to tighten the hold any further. It wouldn't take much for Jack to break free.

With a mighty grunt of effort, he broke free of the bearhug, sliding behind Emily and wrapping a slender arm around her throat in a tried and true sleeperhold.

He put the pressure on the hold, "Let's see how cute you look when you are asleep."

He smirked kissing her cheek once more in a teasing manner.

Before she could react to Jack slipping out of the bearhug, the boy already had an arm around her neck, cutting off her air and leaving the Changeling breathless. Doing her best not to panic, Emily realized that it was too late to try to power out of the hold, and instead tried for the next best thing.

With her strength starting to leave her, Emily fell back, intending to slam Jack to the mat with all her weight on top of him.

Just when Jack felt he was taking the initiative yet again, she threw all of her weight back, slamming him between her and the mat. Jack gasped in pain, the blow dazing him severely. He was not getting to his feet anytime soon, that was for sure. He gave a quiet groan as he lay beneath her.

Taking a moment to roll off of Jack, Emily would try to take a few moments to catch her breath again, savoring every gulp of precious air.

"Sorry about that," Emily taunted while she tried to recover, "But you kinda set yourself up for that one."

Giving a dry laugh, Jack lay there, choosing to conserve his strength. Now this was a real fight. On a physical level the two seemed evenly matched, not even resorting to their offensive powers yet.

"I suppose i did. That was payback for the kiss wasn't it?" he groaned.
