AVQ: Rui Aozaki Vs. Etzlicoatl

Rui was certainly happy to see Etzli accept her challenge, and even more so that she didn't use it as a chance to kick her in the gut. As they locked arms, the busty wrestler planted her feet and stood her ground, pushing back against her just barely shorter foe. After pushing for a while, they both appeared to be about evenly matched, neither making much headway on the other.

Looking to try and break the stalemate, Rui gave one hard shove before shifting her weight and letting go, hoping to catch Etlzicoatl off guard. Assuming she could make the opening, she would quickly try to slip behind the dark-skinned girl and wrap her arms around her waist before pulling back, trying to hit her with a German suplex.

Despite Etzlicoatl's shoving, she wasn't really making much headway - she wasn't exactly going backwards, but Rui could clearly match her strength-for-strength. She'd have to get clever. Fortunately, the Nahuatl had an impressive repertoire of suplexes, including a dangerous northern lights from just such a position. All she had to do was drop her weight, and...

...it was at exactly that moment that Rui decided to try something new as well. She brought up her arms to shove at the exact moment that Etzli was trying to duck low to get her head in position for the northern lights suplex, and the result was obvious - bonk! Etzlicoatl stumbled backwards, her vision exploding into colorful lights and a general dizziness, and the next thing she knew, she was waistlocked and launched into a German suplex.

"One!"

Whoa, look at the pretty colors...

"Two!"

After a second of being dazed, she realized her situation and twisted frantically to one side, getting a shoulder up just in time. Her head was spinning, but Etzli was still in the game - just not the part of it she preferred to be in.

Despite the unintended conking of heads, Rui managed to get the less of it, allowing her to continue with her original intended plan. Fighting through the dull pain in the top of her skull, she grabbed the dark-skinned girl from behind and proceeded to lift her up as she fell backwards. "OooooooOOORYYYYYAAA!"

Perfecting executing the suplex, the busty wrestler easily bridged it into a pin, but Etzlicoatl managed to force her way out. Rolling off to the side and back to her feet, the cheery Rui would attempt to keep her momentum going. Rushing towards her Latina foe before she could get up, the busty girl would slide one arm between her legs, while the other grabbed onto one of her small, but firm breasts. "Got'cha!" Getting in a good squeeze in the process, Rui continued with her slightly modified scoop up, intending to flip Etzli upside down before body slamming her right back down to the mat.

Etzlicoatl was pumping adrenaline pretty hard now. The strain from the test of strength had quickly given way to the excitement of the moment, and so even though she'd been dazed and suplexed she was up again in short order, charging straight for her opponent. Rui was a babyface on a roll, though, and stopping one of those would take a better wrestler than Etzli.

So it was that she ate a scoop slam as soon as she rushed in, getting sneakily squeezed in the process. With about a half-second between the now-familiar feeling of Rui getting a little overly friendly and her impact on the mat, there was not exactly a lot of time to make an elaborate threat, and so Etzli had to settle for a wordless shout of indignation before she bounced off the canvas.

Working on lucha instinct, she twisted in place and rolled towards Rui, trying to force the other girl to leap over her and hit the ropes. Dizzy and disadvantaged as she was, Etzlicoatl was confident that if she could crank up the pace of the match enough, she could convince her cheery opponent to make a mistake.

"W-woah...!" Rui yelped as Etzli rolled at her, just barely managing to hop over her. Catching herself on the ropes to avoid falling down, she peered over her shoulder to keep an eye on her foe.

"Still pretty energetic, huh Etsu-chan?" she said cheekily. Hopping up with both feet onto the bottom rope, Rui then kicked off and jumped into the air, sticking out her rear, trying to fly towards Etzlicoatl with a aerial butt smack.

Now they were in Etzlicoatl's element. Whatever kind of front she tried to put on, her training betrayed her true nature - she was most comfortable when things were going a hundred miles an hour.

Granted, she wasn't exactly making the best show of it - Rui was on a tear, hitting her with moves left and right, and as the roll paid off, she responded not with a rebound, but a springboard attack! Etzli had just enough time to (despite her growing dislike of the handsy Japanese girl) appreciate the choice of techniques and then muscle memory kicked in and she caught the other girl in midair, with one hand around Rui's waist and the other supporting her thighs.

Rui's momentum made it very difficult to hold on, and indeed Etzlicoatl staggered backwards from the impact, but she had her opponent up in the air, and now was the time to capitalize. Spinning in place, the faux-Aztec attempted to fall backwards into a backdrop suplex.

Rui eyes widened in surprise as Etzlicoatl managed to catch her midair, feeling the girl's arms wrap around her waist and thigh. Of course, she had only a brief moment of awe, before her momentum was used against her and she was slammed down hard against the mat.

"Nnngahhh!" Rui gasped out in pain. Stunned from the impact, she writhed about on the canvas, clutching at her back in agony.

The tides had turned, and Rui's momentum had been thoroughly capped off for the moment. Although Etzli had an opportunity, she was panting for breath and more than a little dazed from the barrage of attacks - she needed a breather, but she also needed to capitalize. Fortunately, there was a way to do both...

Pulling the dazed Rui up to a sitting position, she stepped over one leg, hooked the opposite arm, and locked on the dragon sleeper: 2012 - The Feathered Serpent. It was more commonly called the Stretch Plum, and both its inventor and most famous user were Japanese, so despite her villainy Etzlicoatl managed to get sort of a 'gaijin pop' from the crowd.

Thus locked in, the Mexican sensation rolled her eyes back like a theatrical trance state. "Vitzilopuchi, yaquetlaya," she intoned, wrenching on the hold. "Yyaconay, ynohuihuihuia..." The effect was actually sort of impressive, and would have been fairly convincing had it not been for...y'know...her behavior for the entire first part of the match.

Still reeling from the impact, Rui didn't put up much resistance as Etzlicoatl pulled her up, locking the busty girl in her devious hold. Groaning loudly as Etzli worked over her back and her leg, Rui squirmed in pain, flailing about with her free arm in a vain attempt to wriggle free. Though a bit distracted by the strange chanting, ("Was this another chuuni thing...?" she wondered), Rui tried to calm herself, trying to figure out a way out of Etzli's clutches.

With 2012 locked in and Rui clearly in a lot of discomfort, things were looking good for the Solar Hummingbird. Etzlicoatl tightened the hold like a python, trying to take advantage every time her opponent squirmed into a less-advantageous position, and started to lean in hard to increase her leverage.

"Give up," she murmured into Rui's ear. "It can be over in an instant--"

Just then, though, the pressure from leaning against the other girl turned out to be a significant disadvantage. There was a sharp pain in her ribs, which had been weakened by the scissors earlier, and Etzlicoatl drew back with a surprised gasp. Trading holds early in the match had apparently paid off for Rui, who had a split-second opportunity to break free as the sleeper loosened.
