Sligwan is not yet so much sticky, and actually it is, for the moment at least, easier to remove Dave's foot that Dave himself thinks. With a few efforts, Dave and Sligwan remove from each other. But now Dave can see some fear on Sligwan's face, the slime boy doesn't want to touch him anymore. But the slime boy doesn't want to admit it.

"Are you sure you are ok? Sligwan you can be honest with me!" Dave insisted, trying to wipe off the slime and sweat.

The slime boy removes himself from the turnbuckle, leaving thin slime strands everywhere. He comes toward Dave to continue the match. Seeing his body so melty, it's obvious he is getting more exhausted.

"Wait!" Dave ordered, stopping him, "You are exhausted, and you look like you are practically melting. Please Sligwan, what's going on?"

Sligwan takes a defensive stance, not sure to be able to fight correctly. He hopes he will get Dave into submission quickly, cause he feels vulnerable now.

Shaking his head, he reluctantly got into a fighting stance, moving forward. It looked like Sligwan was gonna try and brawl, which, looking at his condition, was not going to work.

Dave comes back into the fight and comes in, so Sligwan tries to plant a kick at his gut.

Dave brings his arm down to counter the kick, knocking it back down to the mat. He kept his fists up, ready to counter the next kick he was sure was coming. Hell, his body was already in position to counter.

Sligwan has no mobility for the moment. As long as Dave is facing him and standing up, he can't move around him to try a submission move. He has to make him fall. This kick is blocked. Sligwan insists with another kick, and another, and another, exhausting himself.

Dave kept blocking kick after kick, before lunging forward to try and slam a fist into the slime's jaw. At least if it hit he would have some effect.
