Post-Denial

"Well, you shouldn't be," Taylor said, and she didn't skimp on the venom. The sight of Gabby walking away from her only threw fuel on the fire, and all she could do was laugh.

"And if there's one thing I WILL be, it's REALLY FUCKIN' SURPRISED!" She said, with a big, obnoxious laugh. "But I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT! Bye-bye, Gabbers! Go home and doodle a fresh picture of Cassie Elliot to tape up on your heavy bag, you fuckin' psycho!"

Taylor grit her teeth and watched until Gabbie was out the door, and the moment it closed behind her Taylor spun into a rage. She clenched her fists and cast about to look for something to hit or something to smash and... nothing. She kicked the bottom rope, and it only wobbled. Not satisfying.

"Fuck..."

She looked over at the pair of heavy bags hanging off to one side and thought to go pound on one until her lungs gave out, but... She suddenly couldn't find the energy. She slumped down with her back to the corner and her arms resting on her knees. Gabby was right about one thing: this sucked. And saying it didn't make it any easier.
