Medical Attention - for HSD1231

Ryuzu Rena was no damsel in distress. But she had to admit there was something in being borne by a prince charming towards a happy ending.

Okay, so she wasn't being literally carried. Supported while walking, yes. And Kenichi was no prince, though he certainly was pretty macho.

But he was charming. And it was a fairly good ending. Good match, good guy, the works.

Rena was a simple girl. She took what little gifts Fate handed to her with no complaint.

"There it is." The Girls' Clinic was right ahead. "Arigatou, Kenichi-kun," she smiled at her new friend. "You know, you didn't really have to escort me here. It's dangerous for a boy to be here." Rena had needed to fend off curious or aggressive girls they happened to pass by with her referee status. She'd been pretty nervous. Kenichi was her friend and under her protection. She had not wanted to fail him.

Kenichi blinked, and gulped nervously, he had heard some pretty nasty (wonderful) stories about this place, how young men like himself would be taken here after they lost a match, and were forced to do many humiliating (wonderful) tasks at the girl's behest.

Then again some women were just plain cruel.

Kenichi will smile at her and try to hide his nervousness (excitement, fucking hormones), "It's alright Rena-san. I'll just take you to the Medical Ward, and then I'll leave. In, out. What could possibly go wrong?"

Oh Kenichi, you poor fool you.

Rena limped over to the door with Kenichi's help. She opened it and called out "Sensei?" She heard that the girls had finally got a new, real doctor, instead of another nurse. She and Kenichi could use her services.

But there was no one inside the Clinic. She frowned. So much for the new doctor. The woman was probably busy wrestling boys.

Why can't the doctors and nurses in this league act like their uniforms and jobs say they are?

"Sorry, Kenichi-kun, but Sensei doesn't seem to be here. I guess we'll have to patch ourselves up personally. Please come inside with me," Rena invited gently. "And lock the door when you come in so that no one disturbs us."

"Uh, sure, no problem," Kenichi will nod, as he flipped the latch on the door as he closed it.

Unfortunately for Kenichi, he was unfamiliar with the locking mechanisms used at the AFW, so what he thought would be locked (safe) was in fact unlocked (not safe, for him at least).

Kenichi will then walk over to Rena, and grin, mildly embarassed, "Well, I'm mostly alright, except from some my floating ribs, but I know you got the worse end of the deal with the match so lets go over your injuries first."

"My time at the dojo I stayed at gave me some good info on what the body can take, and especially on how to treat injuries, so..." he'll pause with a slight sheepish grin, "Where does it hurt?"

Rena giggled. It hurt to do so, but she just wanted to laugh.

"All over," she winced. "You beat me up pretty good." Then she smiled. "Thank you for the offer, Kenichi-kun, but I can take care of myself. I know my body best, after all, and I do know first aid. Why don't you patch yourself up?"

She trusted Kenichi, but her pride and her professionalism insisted she tend herself. However, the tone of her voice suggested she wasn't too stubborn over a matter like this, so if Kenichi pressed the matter...

"Rena...you can barely lift your arms right now, let alone walk." Kenichi will respond, mildly exasperated at her stubbornness, but still determined to make up for the crime (in his mind at least) he committed.

"It's alright to let someone else take care of you when you've been injured, and frankly it would be negligent of me not to assist you right now, and I AM certified in first aid, acupuncture, and Orthopedics."

Kenichi will give her a sad smile, "Look, please just lay down on the bed and let me take a look at you okay? It would make me feel better."

Rena giggled. "Okay, okay," she submitted. There was no resisting Kenichi's admirably stubborn sense of chivalry. "Let's compromise. I'll let you tend me. But only-" and she smiled "-the parts of my body not covered by clothes."

Since she was in a tank top and tight short pants, that left only a little to Kenichi's imagination and gave his hands free roam of everywhere else. And despite her musculature and bruising, Rena's body was quite lush.

And yes, she couldn't help but tease him. He was too cute!
