Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Standard match
1 fall
Victory Condition: The winning wrestler shall be the first wrestler who wins

Backstage, Kira fumed. She seemed to always fume these days. Her first attempts to make a name for herself in the AFW had not gone over well. She was angry every time she was reminded of it and the whole AFW complex seemed to serve as a reminder. She trained harder, pushed herself even further, and watched all the tape she could get to prepare. Her training regimen pushed out every other need. Her body was an engine whose sole purpose was to destroy whoever stood in her path. She would not be defeated. She would not be stopped. She would crush whoever was stupid enough to be in the ring with her so totally, so thoroughly, that nobody would forget the Wild Card.

She stomped back and forth, waiting the last few agonizing seconds for the announcer to call her name. She tightened the laces on her boots, adjusted her sweat pants and her sports bra, and stepped out from backstage. The lights were blinding, the audience a roar. In a second, she had banished those thoughts from her mind. Only two things mattered: The ring, and who was in it. Kira sprinted down the ramp and bounded up the apron. Leaping back, she twisted over the ropes in a perfect backflip and kept the momentum going. She ran to the far corner and climbed the post, letting out a roar of energy, not for the crowd's sake but for her own. All of her energy, all of the blood and sweat led to this moment. She was a spring coiled so tight she might snap if she did not have someone to unleash on soon.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Post by BCG Thu Jan 09, 2014 12:49 am

It hadn't been very long since Sora had wrestled her last televised match. The last one however, had been a stupid challenge issued by herself. This one was contractual, and she had no choice but to go out there. It didn't seem to matter to anyone what kind of state of mind she was in.

The green haired rookie sat backstage in a folding chair, dressed in her usual green and red MMA style top, trunks, gloves, and footwraps. She sat hunched over, staring blankly at the floor as her opponent's music echoed in the background. While she should have been focusing on the match at hand, her head just wasn't in the game, so to speak. She hadn't studied up on her opponent, or even spent a lot of time stretching and warming up. No, she was too preoccupied thinking about how her last match went and the fallout from it. She... hadn't really been the same since, and couldn't help but fear if she was in store for the same level of humiliation when she went out there again. Out there, in front those "people" she was obliged to entertain... those sick, perverted bastards known as AFW fans.

Soon [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28MV0j1Gh0U:2ubpt455]Sora's music hit[/url:2ubpt455], and she tightly shut her eyes and shook her head. "Got no choice." she begrudgingly reminded herself. "No choice..."

There was quite a delay between the point Sora's music started and when she finally came out. When she did, it was fairly obvious what kind of mindset she was in. The young rookie was dragging her feet, and staring sullenly at the floor rather than up at the opponent she was walking towards. She avoided looking at the crowd the entire way to the ring, and it was only once she climbed through the ropes and positioned herself in the corner that she forced herself to look at Kira Malcolm. There was nothing immediately crazy or sadistic looking about the blond woman, but Sora wouldn't let herself be fooled. Everyone here was a fucking lunatic, and Kira was undoubtedly no different. Sora clenched her fists and braced herself for whatever Kira had in store for her. This wasn't going to end in humiliation, not again. If she had to beat Kira to an inch of her stupid life to come out of this okay, then that's just what she'd do. No trust, no mercy.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Post by Hawthorne22 Thu Jan 09, 2014 1:26 am

Kira snarled at Sora. She looked completely pathetic. Was this the sort of runt AFW thought the Wild Card deserved to fight? This was an insult! She almost looked AFRAID of Kira... which would be wise, but this was not what Kira came to fight... No matter. She would crush this wimp so hard, AFW would have no choice but to acknowledge her greatness.

She stomped out to the middle of the ring, glaring daggers at Sora. "Hey, kid, you picked the wrong fucking ring to come sniveling into! This is my house, and I'm going to knock every one of your pretty little bitch teeth out right here. And that's just going to be the start of it!" She raised her arms, waiting for the bell to ring, waiting for the opportunity to tear this girl limb from limb.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Post by BCG Sun Jan 12, 2014 12:13 am

Sora narrowed her eyes and scoffed to herself after hearing Kira's trash talk. It was pretty damn insightful to just what kind of woman her blonde opponent was... Just a violent thug. A bully. She reminded Sora of the kind of delinquent girls she use to get into fights with back in her street gang days. While Kira was undoubtedly tougher than those girls, being a professional fighter, it somehow put Sora more at ease knowing that this was the kind of woman she was dealing with. At least Kira wasn't another pervert. No beating she could give Sora would be worst than what her last opponent had done to her...

When she saw Kira lift her her hands, Sora did the same. She rose her fists up in front of her and took a proper striking stance. A nervous bead of sweat ran down her brow as she waited for the bell to ring, keeping her eyes locked on Kira the whole time. 'I can do this.' she thought to herself in determination. 'I'm just going to kick her ass, and then I'm going to leave. It'll be fine. I can do-' Then the bell rang.

Sora sucked in a sharp breath, the sound of the bell triggering sudden traumatic flashbacks of what had happened the last time she had been in a match. For a good five seconds she just stood there in a daze, leaving herself open to Kira's offense.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Post by Hawthorne22 Mon Jan 13, 2014 1:15 am

Sora tried to project a competent facade but the Wild Card already smelled the blood in the water. It was too easy to pick out Sora's insecurity now that she had seen the way she entered the ring. Of course, she could have been fighting the champion herself and it would not have changed Kira's game plan one bit. She was here to destroy.

Kira did not need five seconds. When the bell hit, Kira was off in a sprint. She may as well have been a bolt of lightning. The bell was the last thing holding back her anger and now she was ready to unleash it on whoever was in front of her. She charged forward, leaping up, aiming to slam into Sora with a leaping dropkick.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Post by BCG Mon Jan 13, 2014 4:01 am

Sora's head was in too much of a fog for her to even see the dropkick coming. She sure as hell felt it when it hit though. The Wild Card's legs easily broke past the rookie's weak guard, and the bottom of her boots made full contact with her solar plexus. Sora's eyes bulged and she released a gasp of pain. The force of the drop kick knocked her directly back into the turnbuckles behind her, causing harm to her back on top of everything else. Not a second after colliding with the turnbuckles, Sora then dropped right off her feet, falling down face first onto the mat.

The green haired rookie groaned and slowly rolled onto her seat, reaching behind her to rub her back with one hand, while clutching her chest with the other. In addition to feeling significantly battered, the drop kick had knocked the wind right out of her. She wasn't about to stand up under her own power any time soon after that.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

The Wild Card was on her feet again, kipping up with frightful speed. She moved like a woman possessed. Sora was going to be the unfortunate target of a lot of pent up rage and frustration if she could not muster up the will to fight off Kira's onslaught.

Her kick struck home with a satisfying thud, fueling the Wild Card's frenzy. She moved quick, hopping over Sora, and leaped up the ropes. Flipping off of the second rope, she jumped back, landing atop Sora with all of her body weight in a splash.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Post by BCG Wed Jan 15, 2014 1:08 pm

Sora didn't even have time to recover before the Wild Card came down on her with a springboard moonsault. An audible "UMPH!" could be heard from Sora as what little air she had left in her lungs were forced out by impact of the splash. The green haired rookie was left wheezing and gasping for breath, with a look of anguish plastered on her face. She rolled onto her hip and feebly grasped at the mat.

Sora sure has hell wasn't in lala land anymore, for little good it did her. She knew she never should have taken her focus off her opponent, but the damage was already. There was no time for hindsight now. Painfully, Sora tried to force her herself up, but every time she lifted herself with her arms she just ended up collapsing again.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Once again, the Wild Card was on her feet, kipping up with speed that suggested all of her pent up energy. She let out a roar of satisfaction at the pain she was visiting on her opponent. She spun around and glared at Sora. "Aww, did that hurt? Let me help." Grabbing a fist full of Sora's hair, she would pull the girl up to her knees. "You are leaving this ring on a stretcher, you dumb bitch." Cocking her leg back, she would aim to knee Sora in the face with all of her strength.

Sora Takenada vs Wild Card Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs Wild Card

Post by BCG Mon Jan 20, 2014 11:46 pm

Sora yelled out in pain as she was brutishly yanked up by her hair. Her knees shook and buckled beneath her as she struggled to stay elevated under her own power, and she clung desperately to Wild Card's arm with her hands. If she didn't, she'd just be hanging painfully by her hair.

As Wild Card talked trash to her, all Sora could really do was give her a dirty look in exchange. Any attempt to open her mouth for a retort would probably come out as a pained scream. When Sora saw Wild Card cocking back her leg however, she knew she had to do more than just kneel there. As Wild Card's knee came barreling into her face, Sora quickly let go of the blonde woman's arm and guarded herself, letting her own forearms take the brunt of the blow. It helped... marginally. Wild Card's knee still managed to catch Sora in the nose, and it was now lightly bleeding as a result.

It was obvious Wild Card wasn't going to be pulling her punches in this match, and Sora was now realizing that she'd be leaving on a stretcher if she couldn't step it up. Gritting her teeth, she suddenly threw a wild right hand punch against Wild Card's abdomen.
