History: Zaffira was genetically engineered by the martian corpo-colony Xhault. The Xhaulted government began Project Zeta in order to secretly eliminate the executives of rival companies and hostile government officials. Project Z was overseen by the Exhaulted Secretary of Defense, Rolan Sprague, and his top scientist Isaac Tesslesski. Tesslesski used embryonic gene splicing and customized strains of DNA to enhance Project Z's natural instincts, intelligence, and athletic capabilities. Z was raised in a laboratory and trained from birth in the arts of combat, infiltration, and counterintelligence. General Sprague oversaw her conditioning, and often devised brutal tests and logic puzzles that punished Z painfully for her failures. Success was rewarded with food, water, sleep, and stimulative drugs.
Z learned quickly. At age 9 she had mastered Jiujutsu, Krav Maga, and several different types of kickboxing. At 11 she made her first kill, and by 14 she was leading wetwork teams, spying on enemy operations, and planning major assassinations. As Z grew older she became more curious about life outside the laboratory. After one mission she briefly escaped into the city to go sightseeing. General Sprague was furious when he discovered Z was missing, and sent a team of his top agents to track her. When Z discovered she was being followed she turned on the agents, killing three of them before realizing they were friendly. Sprague punished her severely for her disobedience, keeping her sedated and in solitary confinement. During her detainment the Xhaulted Board of Directors began to feel threatened, fearing General Sprague would use Z to stage a coup, they voted to have her eliminated.
When Tessleski was informed of the Board's decision he decided to betrayed the Xhaulted rather than see his work destroyed. Before the Board could act he set Z free and lead her to his private lab, introducing her to Omega (Orelia). The three escaped into the city together with Sprague's agents in hot pursuit. When Tesslesski realized he was slowing Z down he sacrificed himself in a diversion that allowed Z and O to escape by smuggling themselves onto an earth-bound freighter. The freighter landed in France, where Z took on the alias Zaffira Chatte (sapphire cat). She named her younger sister Orelia Renard (golden fox) and began raising her in Paris. Zaffira trained Orelia in ninjutsu and stealth while she made a living as a thief. As Orelia got older the two traveled Europe performing more and more lucrative heists. After a particularly close call, Zaffira decided they needed a fresh start, so the pair moved to Japan, where Orelia discovered the AFW.

Personality: Zaffira is cold, calculating, and lethal. She is very confident in herself, and enjoys competition with others. She can become overly competitive sometimes, but she is generally good-natured and will not cheat or try to seriously injure her opponent. She will flirt with opponents as a means of exposing their weaknesses, and does find a small amount of pleasure in humiliating other fighters. Her one true love is her younger sister, who she will protect at any cost.

Preferred matches: She is less involved with AFW than her sister, and prefers sparring and private matches over bouts in the ring. She will sometimes attend her sister's pro matches, and will even step into the ring herself in the event of a tag-team match.

Favorite Moves: Strikes, submissions, throws, chokes...Zaffira knows a ridiculous number of ways to dish out a butt whooping.

History: After Z had successfully begun her training Tesslesski started a new project that he dubbed Omega. Omega was engineered using an altered sample of Z's DNA. She was raised privately by Tesslesski, who was appalled by Sprague's ruthless treatment of Z. She was 6 when Z and Tesslesski escaped from Xhault. She was raised in France by Zaffira, who trained her in combat and stealth. As Orelia developed into a young woman she learned how to use her looks to her advantage, often acting as a diversion for her older sister. When the two moved to Japan Orelia immediately became interested in the AFW and begged her sister to join.

Personality: Orelia is upbeat and friendly. She loves to flirt, cuddle, and squeeze her opponents. She is somewhat inexperienced sexually, and can become overwhelmed during more intimate matches.
