Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Post by dlamp Sat May 12, 2012 10:27 am

Rain was still dazed and in pain. What happened was a blur, but all of a sudden she was on the ground in even more pain, moaning. "Ugh..." She rolled to the side, coughing slightly. "That... really hurt..." She staggered getting up, trying to shake off her wounds. She wanted to cry again, but resisted. She could show weakness, she had to be strong. She sucked in a painful breath and got back into her fighting stance. "I... I can still fight!" She said, getting more steady. Okay, I can do this! She thought. She moved toward Songbird and started to spin around behind her, aiming a hard elbow to the girl's head

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Post by Dynamo44 Sat May 12, 2012 12:55 pm

Songbird was beginning to feel that this girl was becoming a little too easy for her. Rain barely began to show any of her fighting skills and she was already getting a beatdown. Not wanting to take in all the power, she decided to wait for the girl to get up from the mat. The pink-haired girl can see that Rain wanted to show that she's strong despite the pain already set in on her and she was not gonna give up so easily.

As soon as Rain got back in her fighting position, Songbird would get back to hers and say, "Then, bring it, baby girl." She would throw a punch to Rain's face, but Rain was able to spin around behind her and gave her a hard elbow to Songbird's head. "AAARGH!" Songbird cried out as she fell forwards, holding the back of her head with both hands to try and relieve the pain.

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Surprisingly enough to her, Rain was able to land a hit on Songbird. And a pretty hard one by the looks of it. "Whoa..." Wow, I actually good her pretty good. She thought with a smile. Awesome! She didn't want to let up while she still had an advantage. Okay, time to go all-out. She straightened her stance and made a serious face. No mercy. She would then aim consecutive kicks to the girl's head, hoping to keep the pressure on her.

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

As Songbird was still relieving her head, she suddenly saw Rain coming at her with another assault. This time, the other girl was aiming consecutive kicks to the pink-haired girl's head. "AGH! UGH! OOF!" Songbird cried out as she got hit on the head a few times before using her own arms to defend herself. "Do you *NNGH!* really think this is gonna stop me?! *UNGH!*" Songbird has to find a way to get out of this predicament or she'll never get another chance to attack.

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Rain couldn't believe that she was actually holding her own against Songbird, and winning at that. Not that she had the expectation of losing, but getting in this many hits so fast just felt exciting. The kicks didn't let up as Rain kept the pressure on her, hardening each kick. Song wanted to test her strength and determination? Then she would get it full force, with everything she had. It felt good going this hard on an opponent, knowing she could handle it. She had no really to hold back, it felt great. "No, I KNOW this'll stop you!" She said, continuing the assault. She stopped for a moment to give a final blow. She pulled her arms back as far as possible and aimed a hard double palm strike to her foe's back. "Take this!"

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Post by Dynamo44 Fri May 18, 2012 2:18 pm

Despite her arms getting sore from her opponent's kicks, Songbird actually smiled inside. Rain was really showing that she has potential to become a really tough fighter in this league. Songbird wanted to at least give the comment to the other girl, but she had to save it for now since she is still under heavy fire.

As soon as the kicks stopped, Songbird put her arms down and suddenly saw Rain going to the pink-haired girl's backside to aim a hard double palm strike. Feeling that this could be an opportunity, Songbird would attempt to aim a back kick to Rain's stomach before the strike can happen. If this worked, she would have a better chance to win.

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Rain figured that Songbird would be tired after her assault and be too stunned to defend herself, she was wrong. Before her palms could even touch Song, Rain felt a hard kicked to her stomach that knocked the air out of her. "OOF!" She dropped her knees instantly, hugging her stomach and coughing. The pain was so sudden. "Ugh..." She couldn't move for a moment, only being able to sit and hope that Song wouldn't try anything. Though Rain knew that wasn't likely. Dammit...

Songbird's kick had worked and Rain was already on her knees trying to relieve the pain in her stomach. Turning around, the pink-haired girl said, "Feeling pain so soon? Come on, I thought you were tougher than THAT!" As she was saying this, she would walk behind Rain and tried to get her hurt stomach onto the mat. If she did, she would try to get Rain's arms away from her stomach and onto Songbird's knees as she's sitting on her back before pulling her chin back for a camel clutch.

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Post by dlamp Mon May 28, 2012 9:24 am

Rain forced herself to look up at her opponent and gave her a sharp glare. "Sh-Shut up." She coughed out. True, she couldn't take a hit for her life, she was a hard hitter, but she couldn't take too much pain, she knew she needed to work on that. Having Song point out her weakness only made her feel worse, she didn't need to hear this from her, not now anyway. At least she wasn't crying, at least not yet. Though holding back the tears got harder as Songbird put Rain on her stomach, pulling her hands away from her stomach. "Hngh..." She couldn't do much to stop whatever Songbird was planning, Rain only hoped it wouldn't cause to much damage. She then felt the pressure of Song's knees on Rain's hands, making her cry out slightly. "Oooww..." Then she felt the pain of the camel clutch and immediate cried out. "Ahhhh!" It hurt badly, but she held back the need to cry. She couldn't let herself seem so weak now. She tried pushing her upper body down in hopes of making Song break her hold.

Rain vs. Songbird - Page 3 Empty Re: Rain vs. Songbird

Songbird was able to get Rain into the camel clutch and the dizzled contender was already feeling so much pressure in the hold. She could hear Rain's groaning and screaming as she would ease in the pain from the head to the back. She felt as if the win was in the bag, but suddenly, Rain was trying to push her body down in an attempt to escape. The thrashing about made Songbird release her from the submission and quickly get off of her. As she did, she would comment, "You got some impressive stamina, Rain. I'll give you that."
