Phoebe vs. Karina - Fall of the Beast

((Going with a dual-load of divergent paths here. Of course, if Karina would interrupt or move too fast just write your own way.))

Phoebe let out a huff as she struggled with Karina to lock in the hold, wrenching her arm as tightly as she could. Karina's pained gasps were music to Phoebe's ears. She relished the thought of making this woman suffer and knew she would not have much time to do it.

In fact, it did not take long for the brawler to launch a counter-strike. Karina's fist struck home, unbalancing Phoebe and knocking her to the mat. Phoebe, however, had landed right next to Karina's guitar. Sitting up, Phoebe immediately grabbed it and, if Karina was launching a follow-up that Phoebe was in time to counter, Phoebe would swing it at Karina. Her sitting position would mean it would be an awkward blow at best, but it still would be harder than her fist.

If Karina had not closed the distance, Phoebe would cautiously rise, wielding the guitar defensively. Taking a step back, Phoebe would immediately turn and hurl the guitar at the cage wall behind her, aiming to get it as far away from them as possible and face Karina with a fighting stance as if to taunt her.

Karina immidiatly brought er injured arm back to her side, forgetting to even check it since the distance between the two was just excellent! Karina use one of her high powered punches that way, sitting up and quickly launching herself towards the girl, ready to hit her but instead her own guitar was swung at her, right in the side of her head. Karina was never hit by her own guitar anymore and the affect was effective, Karina fell besides Phoebe and clutching the side of her head, squeezing it. She gritted her teeth painfully, not releasing a single cry of pain.

Phoebe stifled a smile as the satisfying smack of the guitar against Karina's skull filled the ring. Phoebe rose to her feet, looking down at her foe. Raising the guitar, Phoebe threw it to the far corner of the ring. It smacked against the cage wall and fell to the floor. "One... for one now. I do not need this," she hissed, taking a moment to rub her own head.

Then, Phoebe would lean down and pull Karina up to her feet. She would try to throw the brawler against the nearest cage wall. Phoebe would then charge in after her, aiming a flying knee at Karina's gut.

Karina was still busy trying to clear her head from that blow, it was alot to swallow. Karina was forced upon her wobbly feet, growling deviantly at Phoebe, obviously she was going to make her pay for that blow but she was thrown against the hard cage wall, stepping away from it quickly since the pain now spread in her back, only to recieve a hard knee strike into her gut, immidiatly pressing against Phoebe and coughing out loudly.. Still, Karina was not going to let the girl have the upperhand on her, Trying to grab and take a hold of Phoebe's offensive knee and kick at the still standing one, wanting to make her fall onto her back.

Phoebe's knee strike struck home in Karina's taut stomach. Gritting her teeth, Phoebe was preparing for a followup takedown but found Karina had taken hold of her leg. Her eyes flashed wide and defiant at Karina for that instant before she was tripped and sent to the mat.

Luckily, Phoebe managed to catch the fall on her back and not hurt her head any further. Unfortunately, the fall still shook her up enough that Karina could press the advantage. She had enough time to work whatever she had planned before Phoebe would kick at her assailant with her free leg.

Karina didn't waste to much time, she knew that Phoebe was going to attack her soon or later so Karina jumped from both feet, still holding onto that knee with one arm now while she crashed down ontop of Phoebe with both knees directed to the girl's stomach, wanting to return the favor but with both of her knees.

The full weight of Karina crashed into Phoebe's stomach, lurching both head and feet up for a bit before falling back to the mat. "Nn-gah!" Phoebe grunted in pain, rolling to the side and clutching her stomach. With a snarl, she would force herself through the pain to keep an eye on Karina. There was not a lot she could do now but she did not want to be surprised if Karina went for that guitar.

Karina rose back upon her feet ad stalked after Phoebe, not wanting to give her even a second worth of recovering. She leant down to grab the girl by the hair, wanting to pull her up onto her feet and then try to grab her head instead and pull her into a side headlock, wanting to prepare her for her next attack, which would be a DDT.

Phoebe hissed as Karina grabbed her by the hair. Mercifully faded pain of the guitar strike seared again through her skull. Pulled to her feet, Karina was able to lock in the headlock, but it was about there that she attempted to fight back, aiming a couple of swift punches toward Karina's kidneys and trying to shove her back into the ring wall. From her position, her shove probably lacked the necessary leverage, and if Karina could power through the blows, she could score the DDT, leaving Phoebe a stunned heap on the mat.

Karina had expected Phoebe to be stunned a little loger, the punches were to quick for Karina to find a alternate solution for it and was forced to release Phoebe, stumbling backwards and clutching her side with one hand, idly stroking it while keeping a glare upon Phoebe. Karina started to find out that this match would take some more time then her usual ones, pulling her hand from her side and instead rushed straight towards Phoebe, bringing her arm up and tried to slam her forearm hard into Phoebe's chest.
