Eliza Harenwood vs Kaylee Shay - Strike Out

Pacing back and forth back in her locker room backstage. Kaylee tried her best to keep her cool as she thought about what was going to happen in just a few minutes. Everything she had been working towards for the past year was about to be put on display in her first official match within the company. The thoughts of self doubt started to creep in. Whst if she was never meant to succeed?

She suddenly would yell out as she sat down feeling her head spiral. This is what she has wanted for so long. To be adored by fans and recognised for her talent. This past year was not going to go to waste. Win or lose, she suddenly smapped out of her spiral. Knowing that regardless of the outcome. She was going to give 120% tonight and make her name known.

Taking a breather. She stretched her shoulders, arms, back, waist, knees and finally wrists in that order before putting on her ring gear. A loose fitting tank top with matching shorts that didn't prevent any of her flexibility. With black laced up boots and arm sleeves to complete her look. It wasnt a moment too soon as she heard a knock on her door and a voice informing her that it was time.

With an exciting look in her bright eyes. She rushed out of her room, lifting her cloak as she passed it without stopping clearly unable to hold herself back. Fastening it around her shoulders, She actually was surprised she made it to the back several seconds before Eliza's song had finished. Silence filled the arena before soft music started playing for Kaylee's entrance. The music faded out before coming back hard with a lot of energy as she exploded out from the curtains with just as much if not more energy. Loving the feeling of being seen, she blew a kiss out to everyone in attendance with both hands before running towards the ring. Diving in under the bottom ropes and bouncing up to her feet showing her thanks to everyone in attendance before walking towards her own corner, breathing shakily as she was loving the rush of everything going on. Only landing her gaze upon Eliza as her own music had stopped. Mouthing subtlety before the bell rang. (Don't hold back)

Taking note of Eliza's bow, considering to bow in return out of respect, but thought it best to wait until their next bout. Never quick to openly trust people despite her energetic attitude. Yet that didn't stop her from being respectful towards her oponents; especially those that clearly were experienced.

Sighing in relief slightly, Kaylee was happy to see Eliza taking her elegant dress off to teveal her proper attire. Easily impressed by her physical fitness and grace. She knew this would be a hard challenge to overcome and that Eliza was at the level she wanted to be at herself eventually. Also it reminded her to quickly lift off her cloak and turn around to slide it into the bottom of her corner before turning back to face Eliza with an excited smile and concentrated gaze.

"Good luck... And game on!" Kaylee replied just as the the bell was rung. Taking a defensive stance, she watched as Eliza spun to showing of her elegance. Impressed, if not mildly confused. She was barely able to lift up one arm to block the kick with her forearm. Being knocked back in the process from her lighter frame leaving her unbalanced for the moment. Reeling from such a blow!

Despite Kaylee's impressive reaction speed and general ability to make quick on the fly decisions. Once you are in the public eye and putting what you know to the test. It can become easily overwhelming and make Keylee realise she was a total novice. Coupled with the roar of the crowd that followed as Eliza landed her first blow, Kaylee would have a steep mountain to climb if she wanted to make an impression.

However. Before she had the chance to strike back, Kaylee felt the full force of Eliza's power as she lands a solid straight kick in the middle of Kaylee's chest. Sending her falling backwards only finding luck as she gets hung up in her corner. Head spinning still after getting the wind knocked out of her, savouring as much time as she could before Eliza came to take advantage of the situation she's found herself in.

Kaylee counter her blessings. Her eyes had only just stopped rolling around the back of her head just in time to see Eliza in a graceful pose. Fully aware that because of her own mistake, the match could have been over in only a minute or 2 longer. Baffled a little by how easily she was disassembled, she knew she had to be smarter and show off to the roars of the crowd.

Quickly spinning herself along the rope ring to her right, Kaylee narrowly avoided feeling both of Eliza's knees crash against her chest. Smiling in excitement as she heard a shocked gasp come from all around, watching Eliza hit nothing this time. Using her lightning fast reactions to capitalise on the situation. While still leaning against the top rope to keep herself standing for the moment, waiting for Eliza to turn back around. Leaning all of her weight on the ropes attempting to perform an explosive enziguri towards Eliza's temple with the bridge of her foot.

The entire crowd gasped in unison after hearing the load crack of Kaylee landing a precise kick on the darling of Tension which made a gleeful smile appear on Kaylee's face. It filled her with satisfaction, realising that this was her time to prove herself. As soon as she was able to stand on her own two feet again. The blows to her chest were surprisingly strong and had taken her by surprise initially.

Breathing deeply, she focused herself and walked towards the crumpled body of Eliza. Taking just a second to admire how effective her kick was. Shaking her head to remove her hair that fell infront of her face. Leaning down afterwards and reaching out to grab Eliza's shoulders in an attempt to drag her closer to the ropes.

If she stayed down, she would begin to stomp down onto Eliza's chest using the ropes to get more leverage attempting to repay and wind her in the process. She couldn't feel her heart racing in her ears as she was full of adrenaline excited to see where this match went.
