Fangs for the fight- Cobra(D) vs Haru!

*Having left a powerful impact on the independent circuit, Cobra started gaining the attention of larger promotions, eventually laying waste to anyone and everyone he came across. After several months of riding his unstoppable momentum, he eventually found himself in the barracks of AFW, a league that viewed women and men under the same scope in terms of talent and status.* "Either way" *Trent hissed to himself, tossing his open vest across his shoulders* "I'll be doubly certain to leave whoever I'm up againsssst tonight in a whimpering mess, ssssprawled out acrosssss the floor!" *Shimmying into his trunks, Cobra had been informed beforehand that he wouldn't know who he was squaring off with, which suited him just fine- He preferred adapting to situations on the fly, allowing his brazen skill to take center stage above all else.*

*Taking a quick moment to concentrate on his breathing prior to wrapping his shin gear around his legs, Cobra gazed at himself in the mirror- his fierce demeanor and intimidating persona were as apparent as ever, the elated blonde went marching out of his dressing room, hair blithely bouncing against his shoulders while the local heroes quizzically glared at this intriguing specimen- Who was this breath of fresh air, and more importantly, what was he capable of in the ring? Only time would tell, and tonight was going to be his first step on the path to bona fide glory!*

*As his music finally dropped, the capacity crowd roared in support at the familiar sound, instantaneously realizing who they were about to be treated with- Perching himself at the top of the ramp, Cobra squatted while simultaneously throwing his arms backwards, his forked tongue making an appearance to make his full presence known!*

"That'ssss right!" *He tried matching the audience's zeal, all the while ambling down the isle and towards the vacant ring, his excitement towards the impending match beginning to peak. Ascending the steel steps, Cobra nonchalantly hopped over the top rope, approaching his designated corner before pressing his backside against the top turnbuckle.* "Now, let'sss see who I'm going to curb sssstomp today~"

Haru:

"Wait you want me to what?" Haru asked, twirling a strand of his hair as he looked at one of the bookers. Luckily he was able to get the finishing touches on setting up the cafe today before he got the call to show up at the arena. Not one to miss out on a payday, the postgrad showed up nice and early, looked up his opponent and SWEET MOTHER OF GOD.

He pointed at the picture of Cobra, looking back and forth between him and the booker, "HIM!? Is AFW trying to kill me on my first match?"

The booker shrugged, jotting down on her clipboard, "You signed a part time contract, and we needed a slot filled. You doing the match or not?"

"Can't believe I'm going through with this." he mumbled under his breath, tightening his boots and checking his trusty gold and maroon singlet as his music began to play. It whipped the crowd up into a nice little dance to the catchy beat, with the young man making his way down with a small wave. Nice little live event...not so bad. Not like they were chucking him into a PPV level crowd. Still didn't make him regret his decision when he saw the muscled form of Cobra in his corner.

'Ah damn this is gonna hurt' he lamented in his head as he went to his own corner.

*As Cobra preoccupied himself by shuffling his feet from side to side beside his designated corner, he heard the faint introduction of his impending opponent, and much to his chagrin it became abundantly evident that he hadn't been taken seriously by the promotion- Bland as cornflakes appearance, half-hearted costume, and barely any enthusiasm as he entered the ring.* "Fine, if thisssss is who I have to trample upon to assssscend through the ranks~"

*Sauntering towards the center of the ring, finally getting a closer look at his prey- His immaculate skin and handsome features were enough to capture Cobra's full attention, but despite this realization knew that he had to commit himself to leaving an indelible impression on the audience if he wanted to be taken seriously.* "No hard feelingsssss, handsome~" *Giving him a delicate wave, Cobra soon heard the bell sound with a sonorous* "Ding ding ding!" *Which signified the start of the skirmish!*

*Charging straight towards Haru with frightening speed, Cobra promptly lifted his legs skyward, completely leaving the safety and comfort of the ground before immediately extending them outwards to try and connect with a powerful dropkick aimed at the ravishing blonde's midsection!*

Haru gave a slight gulp when he saw Cobra eyeing him up like that. JEEZ.....would it have killed the bookers to not match him up against someone who looks like they want to EAT him?! Seriously those eyes of Cobra's were a bit unnerving.

"No hard feelings?" he asked, slowly crouching down into a ready position, "You make it sound so one si- GHUGH!"

His words were cut off when Cobra's feet slammed into his midsection. The blow was like someone had blasted the blonde with a shotgun, launching him right into the corner and ramming his spine into the turnbuckle pads! Letting out an anguished cry, Haru's arms slumped over the top rope, weakly kicking his legs out to try and keep the insane snake man at bay!

*His bold offensive proved to be remarkably effective, sending the ravishing blonde flying towards the vacant corner with a massive* "THUD!" *That was akin to a howitzer exploding! Catching himself on the palms of his hands, Cobra twisted himself around and subsequently rolled sideways, squandering no time whatsoever in trying to follow up on his momentum by sending a powerful message to the audience!*

"And we're jusssst getting sssstarted, handsome~" *Sidewinding towards his fallen foe, Cobra wrapped his hands around the fronts of his ankles, inevitably hoisting him skyward.* "Hope you have a high pain tolerance!" *He triumphantly shouted before instantaneously bringing him crashing down against the mat, executing a brutal powerbomb pin!*

Haru panted heavily, his lungs feeling like they were stalling to try and give him oxygen. Already his mind was cursing the backstage bookers for this. Clearly he was just here to get tossed around, and Cobra seemed very keen to toss the poor barista from pillar to post. Speaking of which...

He yelped as his ankles were caught, yanked skyward by Cobra and forcing him to release the top rope! With nothing left to hold him up, the rookie went down hard and fast, slamming right into the canvas with a heavy WHAM!

Leg's hanging over him, Haru groaned as the ref slid in to count the pin, "One....two...."

With a visible effort, he jerked his arm up, forcing a break before the dreaded three count loss!

*As the vicious viper nonchalantly held his lifeless victim in between his arms, he could already feel his victory over the horizon- Perhaps it would be some type of AFW record for quickest win, but before the idea could completely formulate within his vacant noggin, he felt an odd sensation coming from Haru's seemingly lifeless corpse- He kicked out!*

"Hey!" *Cobra squinted his eyes in frustration as the referee broke the countdown, witnessing the audience snicker under their breath at how inept the blonde predator was at incapacitating his foe.* "Tch, that'ssss the lassst time I show you any mercy~" *He aggressively hissed, snatching the rookie's legs before flipping him onto his stomach, seamlessly transitioning into a perfectly executed Boston Crab!*

"Now, let me hear you ssssscream hot ssssstuff~" *Cobra coyly demanded while beginning to wrench and twist against Haru's sleek legs, trying to force an early submission!*

In truth the kickout was pure reflex at this point. Haru was an amateur, but even he trained his body to the point where it could save him in the rarest of scenario's. Though judging from Cobra's reaction, it looked like taking the pin would have been the wiser choice.

Legs snatched, his body was flung over onto his stomach, before Cobra wrenched back in a brutal Boston Crab. The hold was excruciating, making the blonde scream his head off as his hands clawed at the canvas. It took all his willpower to stop his hand from slapping the canvas right then and there, hand wavering an inch above the mat!

*Hearing the plaintive shrieking of his captive made Cobra crank even harder for a brief moment, before finally relinquishing his victim out of pity.* "Jeez, it couldn't have posssssibly hurt you that much~" *The snickering reptilian chortled aloud, dropping the ravishing blonde's lower limbs in a rather cavalier manner while hatching a brilliant idea.

*Sprinting towards the opposite end of the ring, the blisteringly fast viper sprang off the ropes before leaping through the air, deliberately extending his legs forward before dropping his inner leg across the center of Haru's throat for a vicious leg drop attempt!* "I want to hear that magnificccccent voice of yours again, handsssssome~" *He maniacally cackled as his vicious move connected with a thunderous* "WHACK!"

'Yeah let's see someone try and break YOUR spine and see how you like it' Haru thought, a hand clasping at his back as he slowly rolled over yo look at the lights. He just needed a moment to catch his breath...but it was apparent Cobra wasn't as willing to be merciful here.

A shadow descended over Haru's face as the leg came down hard, slamming into his throat! The barista's eyes snapped open, his body convulsing as a hand clutched at his throat! He opened his mouth to scream, but nothing but a slow rattling gasp came out!
