Dana Ashford vs. Blossom Fields - Generation Gap

Not even a minute in, and Blossom was already working up a sweet sweat. Dana didn’t just have the weight advantage on her, but whoa, was she strong. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d felt that much raw power coming from someone, aside from her own Death Bunny. It was hard to say if she was stronger than her girlfriend, but she was definitely far closer than about 99% of the roster.

Exciting, exciting stuff.

Blossom was smiling from ear to ear as she came out of the corner, nodding at Dana’s challenge. ”You want it…”

The pintsized powerhouse rushed forward at those words, rapidly closing the distance with her opponent. Before the two of them could collide, she dropped down and wrapped her arm around the bigger woman’s leg, putting all her weight and momentum into a single-leg takedown, attempting to bring her hard to the canvas.

Dana could see excitement in Blossom's face, which in turn made her feel excited as well. Seeing Blossom coming her way, Dana would prepare herself for another clash, but then, the younger woman dropped down before they could collide, and before Dana could react to this, Blossom wrapped her arm around her leg before she took her down with a single-leg takedown.

"Ughh!!"

Dana grunted a little as she hit the mat, back first. Impressed a little by the quick thinking of her opponent, Dana would quickly try to get herself out of this situation by bucking her legs, hoping to get Blossom to release her. She needed to recover as quickly as possible so that she could take on whatever her opponent would do next.

Got her down.

It was a small thing that most wrestlers would’ve taken for granted, but Blossom counted this as a small victory, took some pride at the takedown. Toppling someone with Dana’s pound and pedigree was no small thing. Doing it less than a minute into the match was a real accomplishment, showed, that, yes, she could be a threat. A strong start.

But now she had to roll with it, and she wasted precious little time on that front. As Blossom expected, Dana didn’t take her holding this position for long - she bucked, used her not-inconsiderable amount of strength to knock her off. She was sent rolling away, but they weren’t apart for more than a moment before she went on the attack again, springing to her feet and returning to the danger zone.

As Dana rose up, Blossom leaped towards her with both legs raised, shooting them out at the ring moment towards her chest, trying to put her back on the mat with a sharp dropkick.
