Viviana Accera vs Carmen Rodriguez - Sister Act

To some, it might’ve seemed like Carmen was overselling how much the impact hurt, that she was milking it for effect, but she would assure the doubters that wasn’t the case. As it turned out, getting dropped on your back from about ten feet up wasn’t the most pleasant experience. Imagine that.

In fact, it felt like a sledgehammer had been taken to Carmen’s back, and she reacted appropriately, letting out a howl as the pain worked its course. She wasn’t allowed to indulge in that for long, however, because Viviana shared her sister’s clear killer instinct - the next thing she knew, there was a thick, iron arm clamping down on her head, anchoring her to the floor with its implacable grip.

Carmen wasn’t about to be the first wrestler in history to submit to a standard headlock, but at the same time, it was doing its job of wearing her down, making it hard to breath, letting Viviana control the pace. All bad things.

Gritting her teeth, Carmen tried to turn about in the hold and power her way up, working her way up step by step. One foot on the floor, then another, then she was rising, slow and steady. It wouldn’t be easy, Viviana would make her pay for every inch she gained, but the only thing harder than taking a titan like this head-on was taking her on the floor. Carmen needed this to be a straight-up fight.

Viviana in truth, despised the set of manoeuvres in wrestling one would deem a 'rest hold'.

Every move the Italian did had its purpose though; its place towards whittling down her foe until that victory she sought was but hers. The same applied to Carmen, hell, to anyone that stepped into the ring with serious intent. The headlock did earn its moniker under said category somewhat, at least on Viviana's side. All the taller figure had to do was flex her bicep, and Carmen would have been tested at least somewhat. Even if it did make for a dull show.

But soon enough, Carmen fired back, ensuring that the hold wouldn't be broken when the Italian deemed it so, but when the Puerto Rican did. Naturally Viviana held her weight down, her noted strength still pushing down as best it could upon the toned figure trapped against her. But it was Carmen, regardless of the difference in strength or more there lack of, that was pushing from the stronger position. And soon enough, both women were on their feet.

"Heh...Fine by me...!" Muttered the taller beauty, who opted to break the hold in her own way rather than allow her victim chance to unload strikes or otherwise. In a risque way, nonetheless.

Her arm furthest from Carmen unhooking, Viviana used the arm still latched to pull herself around to face her powerful foe.

Knee raising as she spun a rather tight one-eighty, intending to drive it into the ideally still lowered Carmen's jaw!

She’d give the younger Accera credit: the woman knew how to make the best of an advantage. It was getting harder and harder for Carmen to gain her momentum back, and it seemed like her every attempt was being defied by the bigger woman. This was the sort of thing that reminded her why most sports had weight classes - Viviana’s height was a tall mountain to climb, even for someone with her experiene.

But she could do it. She could. She just needed to find an opening.

Thankfully, she felt like one was about to come her way. She pushed up successfully, getting to her feet, but it seemed like Diana wasn’t content to let that stand, and was of a mind to put her back down. Probably with a strike. One that she intended to be ready for.

It came in the form of a knee, one that would’ve rocked Carmen’s skull and sent her reeling, if it connected...which it didn’t. She got her arms up in time to block it, letting it slam against her guard, and she was even able to wrap her arms around the leg before Viviana before she could pull away.

From there, it was all academic. With a mighty heave, Carmen lifted Viviana up, fell back and tried to bring her down for a hard face-first landing via a Flapjack, right on the turnbuckle.
