Double debut: Yuuki Nagano vs. Homi Sakata

Yuuki was getting ready behind the stage, for her first ever match in Friction. She didn't have too much time to prepare, so she didn't know anything about her rival, which left her a little nervous about the fight. However Yuuki was not one to back down from anything, so as soon as her entrance music started playing, she stepped inside the arena, quickly and confidently, her eyes fixed on the ring. She waved a couple of times to the audience as she walked but overall the main thing on her mind was the upcoming match.

Once she reached the ring, she climbed up on one of the turnbuckles and jumped inside with a backflip, and once she landed she finally looked around the audience, raising both her arms above her head as the announcer called out: "Weighing in at 125 pounds, 'the lightning duelist', Yuuki Asuna!". Seems like they got her nickname at least, even if her sword wasn't approved for showing off, despite it not being sharp at all. She thought as she waved. After showing off she went back to her corner of the ring, leaning against it, as she watched the entrance of her opponent for the match.

Homi tightens up her laces on her boots and lets out a small sigh. Tonight is her match in the AFW and she was feeling a bit nervous being on her own.  She takes a peak from back stage at the ring. Damm its bigger then the one father's gym Homi said to herself as she hears her own entrance song. Stepping out of the curtain with a big smile on her face as she makes her way down to the ring shaking hands with a few of fans.

"Her Opponent weighing in at 122 lbs Homi Sakata" With that a faint chanting of Sakata was herd. Homi smiled as she steps into the ring and walks over to her corner. She looks over at the opposite corner towards Yuuki and smiles at her, "Yuuki Asuna" She shouted pointing towards the girl. "Tonight we make our debut but only one of us is gonna come out of here the victor. And that is gonna be me." The referee quickly pats down Homi as she stands there staring at Yuuki with a small smile on her face.

Yuuki didn't really react to her oppoent entering at first, just continuing to lean against her corner. She only did anything aside from moving her head once Sakata taunted her, and scoffed before replying with a smirk. "We'll see about that." She seemed to be the same height, even if a few pounds lighter than Yuuki herself but there wasn't a major advantage on that front.

Yuuki patiently waited until the referee was ready to start the match, keeping an eye on Sakata, in case the girl tried an early attack. Once the bell finally rang, signalling the start of the match she would wait for Sakata to leave her corner, then suddenly kick away from the turnbuckle she was leaning against, charging at the girl, hoping to take her down to the ground with a clothesline!

With a grin and at the sound of the bell steps to the center of the ring. "This should be easy." She said to herself getting into her own stance and eyes Yuuki to see what she could possibly do. Looking for a possible lock up with the girl was not an option when Yuuki charges towards Her and smashes right through her with the clothesline.

With a thunderous crash Homi hits the mat a bit surprised. She didn't expect a clothesline and yet gets up slowly groaning slightly."Ok she got some spunk in her." She thought to herself dashing towards her opponent in an attempt to grapple with her.

Yuuki smirked as her clothesline brought Homi down to the mat, earning a few cheers from the crowd, however she didn't have much time to enjoy her strike because as soon as Yuuki turned around, Homi was already on her feet, and was ready to return the favor to Yuuki with a charge.

"Seems like she is fast on her feet too." Yuuki thought to herself as she got ready to dodge, however to her surprise the strike never came, and instead Homi opted to lock up with her. Yuuki wasn't preapred for this so she ended up stumbling back a couple steps before she could get a good footing and start using her muscles to push up against Homi, hoping to win the test of strength.

As the two lock up Homi grins pushing back Yuuki a bit. Several options went through her mind as the two grapple around the ropes, However Homi realize that she needs to bring this back to the center of the ring if she were to start wearing her opponent down.

Homi saw that they were getting close to the ropes and that any closer would force a break. She needed to act quickly. Pushing upwards on the hold Homi steps in wrapping her arm around the head of Yuuki and locking her opponent's head in between her arm.

Yuuki managed to stop Homi's push, and get in a more or less equal match in front of the ropes but before long, Homi suddenly shoved her hands up, breaking contact and before Yuuki could move, Homi's arm wrapped around her head tightly, choking Yuuki. She tried tuging on the arm but without much success, she had to figure something else out and quickly.

Before long Yuuki clenched her fists as she got ready to fight back, and started swinging them at Homi's belly, her position not allowing her a very good aim but she would still probably get several punches on target. Yuuki would continue throwing punches at Homi until the girl realses or stops her somehow, or if she manages to endure for the several minutes it would take to choke Yuuki out enough to make her lose her strength.

"uhhg!" Homi grunted as she was punched. She tighten her hold a bit more to make sure that it didn't happen again but to no avail as she was hit two more times before she lets go of her headlock. Feeling frustrated at Yuuki, Homi lets out a small grin. The young wrestler runs pass her opponent and bounces of the ropes as she charges forward. With a loud furious scream Homi raises her arm up to Yuuki's neck to clothesline her down hard to the mat.

Once Homi released her hold, Yuuki leaned back up, taking a few deep breaths just in time to spot Homi charging in as she heared her scream, but with no way of dodging, she was brought onto the mat with a loud thud as the clothesline hit her, releasing a small grunt. Once down however Asuna would try to kick right back up into a standing position, hoping her opponent wouldn't be fast enough to stop her.

Homi smiled see Yuuki get up. "You still got a lot of energy in you." She said stepping over to the center of the ring and getting into her stance again. "Alright then come on enough of the warm up. She said raising her hands up again to lock up with Yuuki once more.
