Rose Deltora vs Dixie Clemets

The lights started to dim for her opponent's entrance. The slow, somber beat of Rose's music began to play, and a silhouette of a woman in a cowboy hat could be seen with her back against the side of the entrance. Her red eyes, which were glazed over, scanned out into the arena, and snorted softly. This was what she was reduced to. From taking in breakers of the law and receiving hefty sums for them, sometimes even killing them if it was needed to fighting for the amusement of others. "You can run on for a long time. Run on for a long time. Run on for a long time. Sooner or later gonna cut you down" The song played. Rose let out a small, dejected sigh before slowly stepping down towards the ramp "Go and tell the midnight rider, tell the rambler the gambler, the back biter. Tell 'em that God's gonna cut em down" She continued down at her slow pace while those cold red eyes gazed at the empty ring. For someone who was supposed to be broken down, she sure as hell was fighting a lot. She finally reached the bottom of the ring after what seemed like an eternity, especially to the one she was staring down in the ring. She stared up at the ropes for a moment before climbing up them, and stepped into the ring. She looked around at the audience, and regarded them with a disgusted snort before stepping to her corner. Her music slowly died down once she was in the corner, and she took off her cowboy hat, resting it on the top of the corner, and awaited her new opponent.

The cowgirl's music switched on from Rose's theme and Dixie stepped onto the stage, giving the fans her typical half provacative, half energetic dance, really getting into the mood to face this night's opponent. The texan went from one side of the aisle to the other, slapping at the hands of reaching fans, the complete opposite of how Rose had regarded the gathered audience. Dixie's eyes shot to the ring, "hmm... nutha cowgal..." Dixie smirked and smiled, it had been sometime since she had gotten to lock horns with another similar to herself. She slid into the ring under the bottom rope and picked herself up, feeling more energized this night than she had been as of recent since failing to earn a shot at the belt in her recent tournament outting. Didn't matter, she promised herself she'd make up for it in this bout. Not long after she hit the ring, the bell sounded and this match was underway. Dixie approached rose and held her fist out to her, wanting to press it to her foe's in a show of sportsmanship, "Hope yer ready for a ride, sugah." Dixie grinned.

Rose blinked at the woman's entrance, and how she was dressed in attire similar to her, however she made the look... slutty. Her cold red eyes looked over the blonde haired cowgirl. This woman... she was treating this lifestyle like it was a fetish!

She narrowed her eyes at Dixie as the bell rang, and watched as Rose held her fist out to her. She slowly started to raise her fist up, and would try to slug Dixie in the gut as hard as she could. "Your outfit. Take it off." She glowered at Dixie as she spoke in her cold tone. "Take it off NOW."

Rose leered at the blonde when she didn't listen. "It's a disgrace." She replied. "It's a complete insult to those who had to live that life. Remove it!" She demanded, and leaned back to avoid her kick before throwing a kick down at her supporting leg.

The cowgirl crumbled to the mat as her supporting leg was kicked out from underneath the texan. She landed in a heap but attempted to quickly scramble back up to her feet. She couldn't let Rose gain an advantage this early...

Rose spun around on one foot as soon as Dixie fell back and tried to kick her directly in the face while she scrambled to get back up. Rose was fighting more fierce than she normally would. This woman, her attire was almost an insult to her, someone who had actually made a living out in the west. Someone who actually knew of the rough times the environment could deliver. Someone who actually did it as a profession. It was like this woman was flat out mocking her past, and it was angering her more with every minute she was in the ring with this woman.
