Things hadn't been going so well for Airi since she'd arrived here. In her first match, a sadistic bitch tortured her tender places and completely humiliated her. Then her next match, against the flirty blonde, was not nearly as bad, but was still a pretty embarrassing loss as well. Maybe the third time was the charm? Hopefully. At the very least, this match was going to be something different. Fighting backstage instead of in a ring, everyone watching through strategically placed cameras instead of as a live audience. At least if she got humiliated again, it wouldn't be directly in front of all those people...

Trying to violently shake the negative thoughts from her head, Airi stepped out into the hallway where she was set to fight, dressed in her usual loose-fitting and revealing attire. The door she exited through immediately locked shut behind her. There were a few other doors spread out, ones she had been told lead to a locker room, a equipment closet, and a waiting lounge, all different areas they were allowed to fight in. Of course at the very far end there was another door where her opponent was no doubt set to come out. She had no idea what to expect, but she prayed whoever it was would be nothing like Da Xia.

Alison had been signed onto the league for a few months now, but she never seemed able to get a match. She considered finding a team and maybe score some tag matches, but who could possibly want to partner up with a complete noob like her? And even if there was someone to partner up with, they'd probably be totally incompatible.

But she was finally signed for a match... sort of. A backstage debut? Does that even make sense? Nonetheless, she had to do her best here, and maybe she'd net a proper match after she got her face out there. Choosing a rather unusual outfit for the setting - maid clothes - she would open a door into a brightly lit hallway, maybe even bigger than the actual ring with the space to work with.

She hadn't put too much thought into the match, but running it over in her head, she was a bit worried a nasty opponent would have plenty of cheap opportunities with a bunch of rooms to hide weapons in. Although her opponent seemed to just be a cute-looking girl, so maybe she wouldn't have to worry about it. "Hey! Airi, right? Hope you'll be alright with being the first person here to lose to me!"

Wow, she needed to work on the trash talk.

Airi braced herself as her opponent stepped out, only to be faced with... a maid? All of the tension in her body released as she stood there puzzled for a moment. Cleaning crew? No way, that getup was way too flashy. Not to mention they didn't actually dress like maids...

It didn't even register that this might have been her foe until the brunette made a challenging gesture and a poor attempt to trash talk her. The orange-haired girl couldn't help but let out a loud laugh. "Oh man... Don't you mean you're here to clean the floor with me?" she cackled. She had been so worried she was going to get some deranged sadist, that a half-assed cosplayer pretty much broke off any seriousness she had.

"Oh damn, that's a way better line. I'm gonna steal that!" Alison's not-very-tough tough act immediately dropped as she spoke, not at all angry that her foe was laughing at her.

"But uhhh, anyways, I guess we just start now? This is a very weird match." She took a few steps forward and peeked into the closest door - the supply closet, it seemed.

A maid costume of all things, what a cliche theme Airi mused to herself, slowly re-composing herself after her bout of laughter. "Huh? I thought all the wrestlers get into fights backstage all the time, right? Doesn't seem that odd, does it?" The orange-haired girl gave Alison a puzzled look, quickly noticing the maid was eyeing one of the open doorways.

With a smirk, Airi suddenly took off running at her apparently distracted opponent, sticking her arm out in an attempt to slam a clothesline across her chest. "Here I come!"

Well, I know they do, but how often is it set up by management? Alison knew that a lot fo the backstage drama on TV was all set up... oohh right. This was that.

With her body half inside the closet, the maid wouldn't see Airi running. Alison would only poke her head back out when she heard something stomping towards her, and by then it was far too late to get out of the way. "UWAGH!" Airi's arm struck cleanly, knocking her right against the doorway, banging her head.

After crashing her arm into Alison, Airi quickly screeched to a stop and turned around. Taking a quick peek into the doorway where the brunette had fallen, it seemed to be a supply closet, with various brooms, ladders, a few chairs, among other various things. stored away. "Hmmm... Maybe later..."

Shrugging, the orange-haired girl leaned down to grab Alison by the hair, jerking her up partway while trying to drag her towards one of the other doors. "Wonder what's in here!?" Airi shouted as she attempted to throw the brunette headfirst into the other doorway and crashing through to whatever was behind it.

Alison got a closer view of the supply closet. Although it was pretty difficult to keep track of what was stored while she clutched at her aching head. "Ch-cheater! I wasn't read-uaah!"

She was forced up painfully back to her feet by the orange opponent, dragged over to the next door over. Airi knocked on the door with Alison's face, bashing through it to reveal a bathroom. A male one, judging by the presence of urinals, but at least it was clean.

Which would be the only relief Alison would have as she stumbled against a sink, trying to prop herself up and get a hold of herself before Airi struck again.

Airi waltzed into the room after Alison, quickly glancing around. "Ugh, seriously? A dude's restroom?" she groaned in disgust, even if the place was clean and unoccupied. Shrugging briefly, she approached the brunette girl who was near the sink, throwing a quick jab aimed at her face.

Alison didn't get any time to appreciate the fact that she was in the little boy's room, considering how a ferocious Airi was fast approaching.

"W-wait a minute dammit!" She saw the orange-haired girl coming in behind her from the mirror, and would duck towards the right, maybe she'd get lucky and Airi would crash against the sink like she had.
