Question for 3DS users

Hey everyone, Deus here with a question relating to 3DS.
When I was in Banff and woke up one morning I switched my 3DS on, only when it powered up I noticed right away that the top screen is black. The bottom screen works fine and I can still play games and get sound out the top and all that, but the top screen is black though on closer looking I saw a bit of light on it. Has this happened to anyone here before? I'd like to hear thanks.

No, I've not had that problem. But check your brightness settings. If that doesn't help then call Nintendo's customer service or go to GameStop.

Hmm, well my settings were 3 and I have power saving mode on. Always had that on, I'll get a word with the customer service and go from there. Least I still got the warranty. >_>
