Contendership Match- Chigusa Vs. Riana

Hel's head slammed into the bottom of Chigusa's jaw again, though this time Chigusa was ready and did not end up as hurt as before. She tightened the hold around Hel's neck to squeeze the last bit of life out of her. She did not see Hel's arms shoot up and grab her by the hair.

"No!" Chigusa cried out, "Let go of my hair!" She began swinging Hel around in the headlock, trying to speed up the process of knocking her out.

Hel's eyes began to flutter as the hold did its job, but her hands had found a lifeline, and they would not let go. She would pull tightly on Chigusa's hair with as much strength as she could manage. It was her only chance to break the hold... albeit a small one. If Chigusa could hang on... Hel didn't even have the energy to think about it. Just to put as much hurt on Chigusa as she could.

Chigusa had enough discipline in her to not break the hold, even though it felt as if her opponent was about to rip two giant chunks of her hair off her head. Tears welled up in her eyes from the pain. She didn't break the hold, at least not completely. her left arm, the arm locking her right tightly in place, let go and began tugging at Hel's hands at the wrists, nails digging into her skin. Her right arm meanwhile squeezed down on Hel with its own strength, pressing her tightly into Chigusa's body. The hold wasn't as strong as before though since Chigusa had nothing to lock her arm down.

Hel's world was beginning to grow dark as she continued to grasp Chigusa's hair, desperately low on oxygen. Suddenly, she felt a slight reprieve and a sharp sting, Chigusa's hand had gone to fight with one of Hel's... her hold on Hel's throat seemed to weaken... just a bit. With one last ditch effort. Hel fought through the pain, trying to pull both her arms down to try to pull Chigusa's right arm away, hopefully freeing herself from Chigusa's choking grasp. This was her absolute final chance. Chigusa needed to only hang on a few seconds more.

Chigusa felt the hold on her hair lessen. She thought it was a good thing for a second, then she noticed that Hel was grabbing that arm that held the sleeper in. Chigusa felt the tenuous hold getting pulled apart as one arms was not strong enough to resist two, even if one of those two arms was also fighting the grip of Chigusa's hand. Chigusa broke the hold, unable to hold in any longer. She rolled back, giving Hel a kick in the back in the process.

"I was so close too!" Chigusa thought to herself.

Freedom. Hel coughed loudly as she forced oxygen into her burning lungs. Damn... this girl is definitely more than just a pretty voice. She hacked loudly in pain has the kick to the back knocked her to the ground just as she was getting on her hands and knees. Still gasping heavily, she would roll over, facing Chigusa, a fire in her eyes. Without waiting to fully recover, Hel would attempt to pounce toward the starlet, aiming to tackle her and rain punches down on her face. A little less artful than her typical style, but Hel was pissed at this point. Oxygen deprivation didn't help either.

Chigusa was barely getting around to getting up when Hel leapt on top of her. She bowled over Chigusa, flattening her against the mat. Chigsa gave out a soft cry of protest, but her tired arms could not struggle against Hel's rage-fueled strength.

"I think I really pissed her off now," Chigusa thought, her heart quailing in fear.

Chigusa didn't see the first punch coming as nuch as felt it. Her mind was confused, and she did not realize the danger she was in. The first punch met no resistance, slamming into Chigusa's cheek. That one blow came close to knocking her out. The second punch came, but Chigusa managed to raise her hands in a sort of makeshift shield across her face. Even with her arms blocking though, she wouldn't last long under such a barrage.

Fortunately for Chigusa, Hel didn't have a lot in the tank for this sort of assault. After the first few blows, Hel would again be gasping for breath, her attacks slowing. Had she had a bit more oxygen in her brain, she might have tried to at least lock up Chigusa's hands while she recovered, but within a few seconds, Chigusa would find large openings between her attacks as Hel continued to pant heavily and angrily.

Chigusa winced as her arms were struck again and again, but held on and weathered the assault. She soon felt Hel's punches weaken and slow. Chigusa peeked out behind her arms to see Hel tired and worn out from her assault. Chigusa saw openings for her to strike. She was tired too, but she was gonna make the most of this opportunity.

Her hands shot up to grab Hel's hair and pul her down. With one hand on her hair, keeping her head down, Chigusa would try and go for a haymaker, winding up and slamming Hel in the cheek hard, hoping to knock her off with the blow.

Hel yelped as Chigusa grabbed her hair. She pulled her hands back to try to get into a defensive position. The haymaker struck true, but Hel's arm deflected it slightly, turning a potential match-ending blow into just a very solid one. Recoiling from the pain, Hel fell off Chigusa, rubbing her face. She still had the furious look, but she was in no position to act on it. Not yet at least.
