Violet vs Megumi

The lights went out for a minute. Just a light produced by the ninja was able to be seen in such a dark place. The ' light ' ran its way down the ramp, followed by little explotions by the ramp. The ninja suddenly leapt off the ground, fliping in the air several times,though no one could notice as the only thing they could see was the light. No one could tell if it was the good Violet or the real Violet ( take a look at the topic ' A Ninja's Story ' in the Backstage Forum ) who was doing this.

The ninja landed right on top of the turnbuckle,the lights suddenly turning on and focusing on her. She was standing without any problem on the corner, her eyes closed, and headphones covering her ears. She was using them so her 'bad' side doesnt go crazy because of the noise.

She jumped off the turnbuckle,flipping in the air once again in an amazing way. Everybody looked at her. She didnt seem like the evil Violet. In fact, it was the 'good' Violet, but with a lot more of training now. Maybe now her other side isnt going to complain with her skills. However,if she gets her ass kicked all over the match,there wouldnt be other way to deal with Megumi but to release her other side, a cold ninja who isnt afraid of stabbing someone with the ninjato.

Megumi didn't watch Violet's little show; she was still backstage, sitting on a bench and testing her limbs. She had been hospitalized after a brutal match with newcomer Seraphim Harmonia, a match which had ended in a humiliating loss for her. She didn't hold anything against Sera, as anybody would have wins and losses in their careers, but Megumi hadn't been injured like that before. She hoped her recently recovered body would be able to hold up in a match.

Megumi stepped out into the lights on the ramp. "nO LimiT" played loudly over the speakers as she walked down to the ring, her red dress shining in the light. Megumi climbed underneath the ropes, forgoing any flashy manuveur for fear that her body wouldn't be able to take it. She stood in her corner, looking cooly at her ninja opponent, trying to repress her fear that the barely healed wounds would open up again.

Violet put down her headphones for a moment and walked towards Megumi, holding her hand out for a friendly handshake. She always thought that proper and honorable way of starting a match was to introduce herself and know a bit more about who she was going to face.

" Hello there. I'm Violet. Nice to meet you! " She announced in a cheerful tune.

Megumi frowned at her opponent's headphones, not quite understanding why she would come fighting wearing any burnedsome item. She wiped the frown off her face when Violet came forward with a handshake. Megumi had been tricked before, by Seraphim, when she offered a handshake. However, Megumi still took her opponent's hand, abeit with some caution.

"I'm Megumi Mutoh," Megumi said, "Pleased to meet you as well." She smiled, the serious look on her face disappearing. "Lets have a good match, ne~?"

" Sure! Just let me put on my headphones again..." Violet said as she let go of her opponent's hand and stepped back, grabbing the headphones and putting them on her ears again to stop her evil side to go crazy. She then leaned backwards on her corner, her hands clutching on the ropes as she waited for the match to start.

"What's up with those headphones?" Megumi thought. She tried to puzzel out why her opponent would even bother wearing something like that into the ring, but then the bell signaling the start of the match rang. Megumi did not immediatly go offensive, as she had barely recovered from injuries and was not in quite as good a condition as Violet. She needed to see her opponent's style first before blindly attacking, as she could not afford any mistakes.

"I wonder if you can hear me through your headphones," Megumi mused aloud.

Violet didnt hear the sound ring, but watching her opponent prepare herself for the fight gave her the idea that the match had just started. Unlike most of her other matches, she didnt rush anything this time, waiting on her corner and even yawning, waiting for Megumi to make the first move. She was clearly not listening to what the Crimson was saying, as she wasnt able to even hear the crowd.

"She's not even interested in the match," Megumi thought when she saw Violet not even try to attack, rather staying in the corner and even yawning. This incensed Megumi, as she wanted her opponent to actually show some interest. She knew Violet could not hear, not with those headphones on, so she decided to let some actions speak for her instead.

"Take this!" Megumi yelled, running forward to attempt an elbowstrike to Violet's neck.

Violet didnt even have her eyes open. But, with an amazing speed, she ducked under Megumi's arm, like she had already planned in doing this. She smirked and went for a good and hard punch to the other girl's stomach. ' This is going to be really easy! '

Megumi's eyes widened when Violet ducked beneath her strike, surprised at both the speed with which the girl moved and how she predicted such an attack. Megumi could see that Violet was about to strike her stomach, but was too close to even attempt to avoid getting hit.

"Guh!" Megumi grunted as Violet punched her stomach. It hurt more than usual because Megumi was still recovering from injuries, and her stomach was still tender. She doubled over, staggering backwards.
