AV 15 Iron Woman Match: Natasha Han Vs. Valley Doll

Valley didn’t want to stand at the moment. She wanted to just lay on her butt and recuperate and not forced her aching back to ache even more because it had to support her weight.

But she didn’t have that luxury. Natasha was turning around, which meant that she’d likely be coming her way with something painful and fast in the near future. It behooved Valley to actually do something about that.

When Natasha came towards, Valley burst out of the corner to meet her with something a little more potent than a knife-edge chop. She brought her leg up and shot it straight out, aiming a fierce superkick right in the middle of her smug, stoic, pretty face. ”Go down!”

Out of nowhere, like the thunder of the gods, Valley's superkick slammed into Natasha's face. The crowd gasped collectively at the sight, expecting the Russian to go down, and to Valley's credit, she did force Natasha to stagger backwards, the attack's momentum sending her stumbling away from the Slamazon.

But...Natasha didn't fall. She didn't go down. She was stubborn, and even though the kick looked like it had completely knocked her out of things, a dead look on the Russian's face, her body was still standing, solid and firm in front of Valley.

Oh, thank God for the superkick. It had been a while since she busted it out, though it used to be her finisher back in the halcyon Slamazon days of yore. Couldn’t be easier. You kicked them in the face, they went down, and you pinned them. She’d swapped it out for the AFW since Angel and Ace were already using it, but it still came in handy during a pinch. A secret weapon.

Only Natasha wasn’t going down. At first, Valley just thought that rustic Russian was just teetering, but no, her wide eyes weren’t deceiving her. She was standing. Somehow. ”Oh, for Pete’s sakes…” Judging by the murmurs in the crowd and the referee’s confused stare, she wasn’t the only one in disbelief.

She didn’t know how her opponent managed to not fall over, and she didn’t much care. All Valley knew was that she had to put a stop to it. Her ankle was good enough to make a short run, and she pushed it to its limits as she dashed off to Natasha’s side, bouncing off the ropes nearby. She leaped towards the Wrestle Angel as she came back, did a cartwheel as she neared, wrapped her arms around Natasha’s waist in mid-flip, then carried her over the rest of the way, slamming her back into the mat while she landed on her butt to execute her one-of-a-kind finisher: the Valley Bomb!

Natasha may have been standing, but when she was still dizzy, still reeling from a boot straight to the face, that didn't mean much. All it really meant was that she was an easy target for anything that Valley wanted to try on her.

So of course, Valley went for a big, flashy, high-impact finisher. The Russian couldn't do a single thing to stop her as the Slamazon flipped through the air, snatching her by her face and twisting her into the Valley Bomb.

She struck the mat, hard and heavily, a single cry slipping from her before she went limp, lying there completely out of things now. Valley's powerbomb had done it's job, and the Russian was, once again, taken out of the fight.

And down she went.

It was a testament to how grueling this match was that Valley didn’t immediately go for the pin. She had to take a second, shake off the cobwebs, remember that the Valley Bomb put her in a prime position for a pin. She wrapped her arms around Natasha’s legs, pressed her arms down with her feet for good measure, then leaned forward to pin her shoulders against the mat.

The referee was even starting to show some fatigue at this point, but she managed to drop down for the count. ”1…!”

Natasha shuddered, just a little bit, as Valley hooked her legs and leaned forward, keeping her pinned to the mat.

"Two...!" The referee cried out, and at the sound of the number, the Russian groaned weakly. She wanted to move, wanted to break the pin, but she couldn't find the strength. She couldn't find the energy. She couldn't do much of anything, except lay there and wait for it to be over.

”3…!”

”God!” Valley exclaimed, as she threw her arms up and flopped back into a growing pool of her own sweat. She stared up at the ceiling for a moment, sucking in gob fulls of air, trying to make her heart slow down before it beated right out of her chest.

Two to one. She was back on top. But it had been a war to get there, and the end was still farther away than most whole regular matches in the AFW. Valley’s body was beginning to feel the effects - numbness, dizziness, spots in the eyes - but she had to soldier through. She was going to finish this, she was going to win. All she had to do was not lose.

After a moment, she got back to her feet and dragged herself over to the corner, sitting down on the bottom turnbuckle while she gazed at Natasha. There wasn’t a look of hate or anger like last time. This was the look of two grizzled war veterans, staring at each from opposite foxholes, curious to see which of them would be the first to leap over for the kill.

Even as the referee called the final count, and Valley climbed off of her, Natasha stayed still on the mat, her eyes still closed tight. She was behind again. Worse than that, she was hurting bad. Even she couldn't take a superkick and a powerbomb like that and be able to stand right back up, especially after a long, grueling match like this.

She wanted to stay there for longer, for as long as she could, but she soon heard the referee counting again, this time to count her out. Of course. If she couldn't get back up, she couldn't continue. With a heavy sigh, the Russian forced herself to sit up, climbed slowly, shakily to her feet, staggering towards her corner.

She collapsed against it, and squirmed around until she was facing outwards, panting as she stared back across the ring towards Valley. For the first time in this match, she was left clueless. She was behind on falls, and after Valley's last assault, she was still damaged, still weakened and still not ready to get back into the fray yet.

She wasn't sure how to proceed, or what to do next. All she could do for now was wait for the precious few seconds of rest to end, and hope that Valley was worse off than she looked.

What to do next, what to do next…

She’d used her Valley Bomb, that had some success, but mostly because  Natasha had been loopy  when it hit. No guarantees on that working twice. She could try some more high-flying stuff, but that was a big risk, as Valley learned when she tapped her foot on the floor and test out her ankle. It was still sore from the damage Natasha had done a few minutes ago, and while it was holding up for now, it seemed to be getting worse and worse with every passing second.

Maybe she could bear the pain enough to go up high a couple of times, maybe she push things too far, wind up snapping something, and lose the match. No way to know until she got out there. Oh, and there was lovely little headache she was developing, along with the beginnings of dehydration.

Valley took a quick glance at the clock.



Just over sixteen minutes. All she had to do was not get beaten for that long, and the match was hers. Somehow, though, when she told herself that, it sounded a lot harder than it should’ve.

When the bell rang, Valley came out nice and slow, taking her time. Part of it was because she didn’t want to stress her ankle anymore than necessary, but also because she felt her best chance was to pressure Natasha into making a move first, hope for an opening to take advantage of. At the stage of the game, there was no room for stupid risks.

Natasha followed Valley's gaze, looking up at the clock with her, groaning after she noticed the time. The match was quickly approaching it's end. This was bad. She was behind and didn't have much time left to catch back up to Valley, let alone surpass her. If she couldn't do something, and do something fast, then she was in trouble. She needed to act. She had to put away her pain and her fatigue and just fight.

When the bell rang, she took a deep breath, calming herself down and steadying her nerves. She pushed out of the corner, heading to meet Valley, thinking on her options. The Slamazon's ankle was hurt, and she was tired, seeming as if she was just as tired as Natasha was. Good. This was good. She could take advantage of that.

As she moved towards the center of the ring, she suddenly forced herself to go faster, forcing her body to rush towards Valley. Not nearly as fast as at the start of the match, but fast enough to hopefully catch her by surprise, and as she drew closer to the Slamazon, she drove her arm towards her, trying to swing a big, heavy punch straight towards the blonde's face. It wasn't anything fancy, but a solid punch would go a long way towards winning this.
