Kyo Akamatsu vs Yuki Nakamura

Kyo was breathing lightly as he lay against Yuki. His head was swirling, and he felt himself slowly but surely succumbing to unconsciousness from Yuki's earlier kick, but he was still conscious enough to hear the countdown above him.

"THREE!"

The bell rang, signalling Kyo's victory. With a groan, he rolled off of the silver-haired girl and collapsed onto his back, allowing the dizziness to overcome him. Even then, as the fans erupted into applause or outrage, the ref girl dropped down to check on both wrestlers. At her gesture, a paramedic rushed in and began applying smelling salts to both of them.

It took a lot longer to rouse Yuki, and for a few moments the medic feared they would need to get her to a hospital.

After another few seconds, here eyes opened slowly and the medics sighed in relief. Giving a small groan, her hand reached for where Kyo's kick had landed, and flinched when she touched it. That's gonna be sore for a while. It also didn't help that she had lost another match....and when she was SO close to victory.

Kyo's eyes fluttered weakly as the sharp tang of the smelling salts brought him back to reality. He shook his head, groaning, and batted the paramedic away. "m awak, I'm awake..." he groaned, his head shaking from side to side as it throbbed dully with pain. He was gong to have a headache for days to come, he knew that much.

He looked to the side, and saw Yuki lying in a daze next to him. "You okay?" he asked.

Yuki grimaced and nodded, "Yeah....probably gonna take it easy for a few days though...."

Kyo nodded as he pushed himself up to his knees. "Nngh...yeah, I think I'm going to be sore for a while now. That finisher of yours still has me seeing lights." He extended a hand to her. "Good match. You were a great opponent." He blushed a little. "That, um...that kiss didn't mean anything, right?"

Yuki shook her head, "All a part of my finisher."

Taking his hand, she got to her feet, still hurting from the beatdown.

Kyo continued to blush. "Um...of course," he said, accepting Yuki's hand and pulling her upright. The crowd cheered at this display of good sportsmanship as the two wrestlers got back to their feet.

He rubbed his head. "You nearly had me, Nakamura-san," he said with a smile to the new girl. "I'll have to keep an eye on you if you decide to stay in Tension."

Yuki winked at him, "Oh I'm not going anywhere."

"Good," Kyo replied with a grin. "When you've perfected that finisher of yours, come after me again. I'll be ready for you."

And with that, Kyo gave Yuki a firm shake of her hand, before turning to leave the ring.
