Possibly dragging Aoi down with her but definitely losing his grip, not only the boy had lost all his previous advantage, but Aoi's fall ontop of him was most likely going to grant her the initiative.

Aoi shrieked when she was pulled back on top of Ryu. She landed with a thud, once more being cushioned by Ryu's strong body. Aoi was no longer in the mood to play the coy, helpless maiden, however.
