Well okay what I'm gonna do is make Ryan's backstory more cheerful and less angst ridden, I don't think I need to change Erica or John however. That comedy duo is fine as they are I think.

Oh and don't worry Kounoko my friend. You're good at doing RP's in my mind, that was a fun match we had with the dark savior vs Aurore.

Well, the reason I asked was because at least one person seems to be rather unhappy with my RP. >< And I hope that can changed.

Talk about angst ridden, I think my Aloysia and Ryona Brotherhood are rather dark and gritty too, I wonder if I should go change that, what do you guys think?

To be honest, I don't really want to change them, but if their back stories really puts people off and make them not want to RP with me, I would change. ^^

Okay well I altered Ryan's history a bit, to make it less angsty I now have John as his adoptive Father when Ryan was in his mid teens.

However I'm still keeping the key parts of Ryan. Also how do you think I have him interact with the rest of his team? I try to make the banter between him and John funny, like Ryan's a polite gentleman whereas John's this comical boasting womaniser.

The Brotherhood are indeed scum. It's probably a level of violence that makes them not as attractive as opponents, but KillerV's Killer King is probably the most famous and asked for Tension wrestler and he's scum too.
So it may be a question of presentation or as I think even more a question of the general lack of tension tag teams or tag teams in general, it's even hard to find a Friction tag team match with a much larger base of characters to draw from.

What I personally don't like in wrestling is the stereotype of a team of a retarded and a clever wrestler, and a mentally ill but strong character and his well meaning and tactical doctor pin that to an extreme. But it is a viable and often used wrestling gimmick.
I know that my own Barb Wire team is similar, but it's (at least for me) a difference btween being not intelligent and being mentally ill.
