Revival of a Legacy

There had been many highs and lows in the wrestling prince's career. While he had a successful time in AFW, his time in LAW wasn't as successful. However, the prince was still adamant in pursuing his dream to fulfill his family legacy and one day be known as the best wrestler on this planet. That would include being the best in not just AFW but also LAW or any other league that come up that would pique his interest. He was proud to carry the Takeuchi name as his legacy and wanted nothing more to prove that he came from a wrestling lineage, one that was considered as the cream of the top that always rose to the top.

After a tough time in LAW though, the wrestling prince found himself back in AFW for a time to cool off some steam. One incident that particular got his blood boiling was thanks to the Morgan family name. A woman named Cynara Morgan had confronted him in LAW, challenging not just him but his family name. She though that the Morgan's were far superior to the Takeuchi's and talked down to his legacy when compared to their own. However, instead of challenging Daisuke to back her words she would instead back away from the challenge instead let her daughter do her dirty work. Daisuke was less than impressed by her antics, calling her out to be all bark but no bite.

Regardless, it seemed that chapter had closed as he was sure Cynara would never step up to him again considering she had already backed away from him when he called her out. That, and because of the fact that the woman was not signed to AFW...or so he thought! The Prince arrived in the AFW arena, walking towards the locker room area while in the backstage area as he was wearing a pair of jeans, sneakers, a jacket and plain black shirt with his gym bag hanging on his shoulder. Cynara had definitely put a bad taste in his mouth and he simply had to get rid of it somehow, so a break from LAW was just the perfect way to do it.

Ever since returning to the world of wrestling, there had been one thing on Cynara Morgan's mind - and that one thing was rebuilding the glory she had enjoyed in her heyday. In her youth, she had been an esteemed champion in apartment wrestling, the face that had made the erotic sport what it was today. But the years had gone by, and her name had vanished into obscurity...until now. Now that she had announced a deal with some of the biggest promotions in professional wrestling, Cynara was hell-bent on putting her name back on the map. Not just her own, but that of her daughter Mina, who she had carefully trained to live up to her legacy and carry on the torch both in the ring and on the carpets. With the fortune she had married into behind her, Cynara had spared no expense in her campaign to cement herself once again as a name to know in wrestling. And part of that was setting up matches with Mina against other legacy wrestlers, all in the name of proving that the Morgan Dynasty would reign supreme.

One such match had been against the so-called Wrestling Prince, Daisuke Takeuchi - a match that had seen Mina defend her AHW United States Championship in a hard-fought apartment match under LAW's oversight. Ever since that match, Cynara hadn't heard much from Daisuke. Perhaps, she thought, Mina had been too much for him, and he had learned his lesson that it was better for him not to compare himself against the Morgans ever again. If that were the case, Cynara couldn't say that she was one to complain - that just meant what she was doing was working. She had gone back about her business, looking into further dealings with the wrestling world in order to boost her brand, and that had led her to AFW, which she saw as yet another opportunity to establish a foothold in bending the industry to her whim.

She didn't realize that, in hanging around the backstage area, she would run into a very familiar face.

"Well, well." Raising an eyebrow, Cynara strolled toward Daisuke, her arms crossed and her gaze locked on him as she looked him up and down. "This is a surprise. I can't say I expected to see you here. Heh...I suppose I should've pegged you as the type to turn tail and run. Were you afraid of dealing with us again?"

It had been sometime now but the match against Mina had left a bad taste in his mouth for sure. She was a skilled wrestler but definitely not one of the best he had faced. In fact, the whole match he felt as if he had to deal with both of them and not just Mina-which was his biggest complaint. The match was basically a handicap match in his mind and a set up by the Morgan family and nothing else.

Still, he couldn't shake that feeling from his mind especially the resentment he felt towards Cynara. He figured AFW would help him shake off that time at LAW but he was quite wrong, because the reason of his torment was once again staring him right in the face. "Y-you....what are you doing here?" he said, sounding quite surprised as Cynara stood in front of him, inspecting him from head to toe with her arms crossed under her chest.

"Tch, don't act so tough Cynara" he would say, noticing that Mina wasn't around. "I wouldn't be as confident without your daughter around to save you because we all know she's the one who does your dirty work for you" he would say, rolling his eyes. "You're too much of a coward to really do anything yourself, despite you constantly interjecting yourself in my match against Mina last time" he said, glaring at the former champion.

And then, the moment of recognition hit - now, Daisuke knew just who he was dealing with. A smirk came to Cynara's face then. She was glad to know that she was starting to be noticed wherever she went. Whether or not the publicity was good, people still knew her, and were talking about her, and that was all she really needed. Without saying another word, Cynara moved closer, leaning her head inward toward Daisuke's personal space. She needed to make her presence known - and known enough that there was no way Daisuke was going to get away from this without conceding some ground. She was in control, and he had to know that.

"Tsk...I could ask that just as easily about you, my dear. But I think I already know the answer to that question, if you think like me. See, what I do, I go where the action is. Doesn't matter if it's AHW, LAW, AFW - baby, I'm a free spirit, and no one who knows my name is going to tell me no. I'm not a company stooge. I'm the one calling the shots. I think you'd know as much."

She narrowed her eyes on Daisuke, leaning just a little closer - making sure that match was still on his mind, because it was certainly on hers. In fact, he was thinking of what had happened in his match against Mina - a match in which Cynara had watched from the sidelines, but let her daughter do most of the dirty work. She raised an eyebrow to the accusations - but a moment later, with a laugh, she drew back, brushing those aside.

"Oh, Daisuke, my dear. Have a heart! You truly don't expect little old me to get in the ring any time soon, do you? Let's face it, much as I hate to admit as much, I can't quite go like I used to. People aren't clamoring for your folks to get in wrestling shape any time soon, are they?"

Even after she said that, though, Cynara looked off, biting at the inside of her cheek. It was true that she was in her fifties now, and she hadn't wrestled a match in some time. But thinking of herself as being over the hill just didn't sit right with her. Surely, she thought, her star was still going to shine. Even if she was a manager, she told herself. But...was that really the same?

If there was one thing she knew how to do, was to push his buttons. Daisuke was always the type of person to stir something up before settling it in the ring. However, this time, it was the opposite. Cynara had been the one to approach him to challenge his family legacy against hers and even now, she had been the one to approach him in AFW to recall that match. The one thing that Daisuke was really frustrate over, was the fact that Cynara could talk all the crap she wanted but would not get in the ring or mats against him. She refused him once, she would do it again surely.

Her actions suggested the opposite though, at least for a while as she would get up close and personal with him. Daisuke would stand his ground as well, with the two going face to face as they continued their argument. "Go where the action is? I think you're mistaking yourself for your daughter, she's the one doing all the action Cynara" he would respond back.

"Hah, I actually dont expect you to get in the ring at all my dear Cynara! In fact, you were never really good at in-ring wrestling were you?" he would mock her. "Oh no, I expect you...to meet me in an apartment" he added as he would gently press his forehead against hers. "I can tell you feel it within you, the itch of one more match. You've talked a big game, now lets talk business. You and me, one on one...." he said, getting straight to the point.

Wherever Cynara went, she was going to exert her presence. She wasn't going to let anyone forget who she was or why she was important. In every confrontation, what was most important of all was that she was the one playing with a full deck, and that no one was going to underestimate her. But here, it seemed, Daisuke hadn't just anticipated Cynara's tricks - he was exploiting them.

When he pointed out that Mina had been the one who was carrying on the Morgan legacy in anything competitive, that made Cynara's eyebrow rise. She opened her mouth, ready to speak up about how she was hardly in shape to wrestle these days. But anything she might've wanted to say in her defense died in her throat. No, Daisuke was right. Cynara was a woman who was obsessed with her fame and status - and that fame had come from her wrestling career, where she had dominated competitor after competitor in match after match, turning herself into a spectacle that people were demanding to see. She had tasted glory in those days, and she had never wanted to look back. Even now, that fire of competition in her still burned. When Daisuke said as much, she could feel the beating of her heart, and the watering in her mouth. There was that chance to know glory again - she just had to reach out and take it.

It didn't matter that she was past her prime now. It didn't even matter that the offer had come from someone other than herself - something the Cynara of today would never stand to acknowledge. No, Cynara's hand had been forced. She knew he had offered her something she couldn't refuse. An offer like this was once in a lifetime, and she could never back down from it!

Holding herself to her full height, Cynara looked Daisuke straight in the eye with a deep, transfixing gaze. "You want to face me, is that right?" she began. Planting her hand against his shoulder, she went to guide his back against the wall. "I sincerely hope you know what you're getting into, boy. I am a nigh-undefeated champion...and what can you possibly say to any career in apartment wrestling?" Her heart was beating even faster in her chest. She'd almost forgotten what this felt like!

He always did pride himself at being able to get under peoples skin. Of course, Cynara was no slouch either when it came to talking a big game and putting others down but Daisuke had a very valid point here- which is why it actually hurt Cynara even more. The truth had always been that it was always Cynara who called him out, who questioned his family legacy and claimed that it was the Morgan's who dominated the wrestling scene. However, when it actually was time to back it up, she would send someone else to fight the battle for her.

He grinned when he saw that look on her face, he had clearly struck a nerve. Her mood and expression suddenly changed and she straightened herself up before touching his shoulder, pushing him back until his back pressed against the wall. He did not resist, instead he let her do as she pleased. He chuckled at her response, clearly she was interested in settling this once and for all.

"Nothing yet but...." he said as he leaned into her, getting close towards her ear as their chests pressed together. "Once I beat you, I get to claim that I put the best apartment wrestler back into retirement...because that will be the deal. If I beat you, you go back into full time retirement and I get to claim that I am the one who retired you. If you win.....I will openly admit that you are the better wrestler" he whispered into her ear.

Cynara had Daisuke cornered - she commanded his attention with her presence alone. Positioned before him, with his back against the wall and her hand on her shoulder, he had no choice but to meet the former champion eye to eye. And she could only smirk at the thought that she commanded this much power over another wrestler - especially one who boasted of such a storied lineage. There would be no mistaking it, if anyone looked on - Cynara was the one calling the shots. She'd make it known as such.

But even still, when Daisuke leaned in against her - her breasts massaging against his chest as the air between them was tinged with the warmth of their exhalations - the smirk on Cynara's face began to widen as her heart fluttered. She listened to every word out of his mouth with rapt attention. Here, Cynara had what she was here for. She had the opportunity to force a legacy wrestler to surrender all claims of superiority to her, admitting once and for all that the Morgan Dynasty could beat his. That would be an endorsement - and, coming from someone like Daisuke, no one could doubt the authority of the statement. It would put the Morgan name back on the map! Cynara was so enticed by the thought of such an honor that she didn't even bother to consider the possibility of her losing, and having to retire once again. Not even if she was out of practice, and Daisuke was in his prime. That didn't seem important in the face of how much she stood to gain. For as much as Cynara had claimed she was in control, Daisuke had just made her an offer she couldn't refuse, and that had left her with no choice. Thanks to her own lust for power and attention, he was the one calling the shots.

"Well, well...I think we have ourselves a deal,~" she said with a smirk. "The only question this leaves us with, then...your place, or mine?~" She drummed her fingertips against Daisuke's chest, leaning a little closer.

The two reveled in this rather intimate moment. The two both had a chance to make history for one of them while also utterly humiliate the other in the process. This was going to be the ultimate revenge for Daisuke or the greatest comeback in a wrestlers history for Cynara. In that moment, the two seemed lost in the lust of power as both of them were under the impression that they were in control. Cynara pushed him back against the wall as Daisuke pressed against her, pressing her chest against her breasts while the two were in a power struggle of lust and desire.

To Daisuke's astonishment, his tactic worked and Cynara accepted! She was ready to put her legacy, her wrestling career on the line against a prime Daisuke. She would lean in even closer, whispering back while playfully tapping his chest, asking him where they should have this private and intimate battle. Daisuke leaned in, his nose touching hers with their lips inches apart. "Yours...I wish to challenge the former champion in her domain" he whispered as their lips grazed when he spoke.
