A helping hand? (feat. Dirk Lewser)

Ayesha looked in surprise at Dirks statements latter half, before she shrugged, "Ah, good point...I think that was enough attempts of practicing for me." She slowly sat down in her bed, her face in a contemplative look, as she said, "Well uh, if you wanna help yourself to anything in the kitchen before you leave, like a drink, go ahead. I'll lock the door later myself." And then, despite still wearing her shoes, she lay down on the bed, covering her face with her pillow, before letting out a pained groan, followed by a muffled "I owe you one, Derek."

By the time of if Dirk were to leave by the front door, he'd be hearing Ayesha making incredibly loud groaning noises like someone who was at death's door, and even when closing the door, it sounded like a ghost was wailing in there.

Dirk helped Ayesha back unto her bed and then took a step as she climbed back in. He offered a small chuckle in reaction to her words of practice. She then mentioned that Dirk was free to help himself to a drink before he made his exit from her apartment and that she would lock her front door later. Dirk nodded, acknowledging her words. She even added that she owed him one.

Well, thank you kindly. I'll probably stop by a store and grab some water on my way back home though. But, I really appreciate it. And you don't owe me a thing. I was just in the right place, at the right time. And if anything, I'm just glad you're back in the safety and comfort of your apartment.

Dirk made his way over to the bedroom door and gave Ayesha one last reassuring look.

I'll see you later, Ayesha. Have a good night.
He said before turning back around and leaving her room to enter her living room and making his way through it to get to the front door. He was about to make his exit until he heard the sounds of wailing sounds coming from Ayesha's room behind him. He quickly turned back and charged back to Ayesha's bedroom. Once he arrived, he looked in and shouted in worry:

Are you ok!?

Dirk would stumble in to find Ayeshas pillow vibrating like a beater, as she let out another moaning wail. Through the pillow, Derek would hear her exasperated but muffled voice, "Aaaaaaah, my head hurts. I've heard yelling helps get rid of it faster. Sorry about that."

The groaning and moaning continued, causing the pillow to enter a variety of motions ranging from shaking, vibrating, seesawing, to slightly spinning about a pivot like motion with each noise she made. The pillow then tipped, then straightened, then tipped the other way then spun about its way, then came to a standstill before vibrating angrily.

Then Ayesha turned around, facing downwards, laying as stiff as a cardboard box. The pillow was still on her face, as now her muffled wailing was causing the mattress to vibrate and shake.

What a strange person.

Oh. I-I see. Dirk said as he watched Ayesha continue her...thing.

W-welp, have a good night! Dirk finally said as he backed his way out of her door frame and made his way over to the front door. He reached and grabbed the door knob and turned it. The door opened and he walked out. Once he was out of her apartment, Dirk turned around, pulled the door and closed it. Before he left, he took a chance to look at the egregious graffiti that was pasted on and around her front door. Dirk could only glare at the hurtful things that were said. He couldn't imagine how painful it felt to come home from hard day's work only to find this angry and harmful shit thrown onto your living quarters.
"Its not fair.", Dirk thought. "Whoever did this probably doesn't even know her! Yeah, she's a little unorthodox. But, she doesn't deserve this. NO ONE deserves this! Just for living their lives!"

Dirk's right fist clenched in anger, before he un balled it with an annoyed sigh. People can be cruel. That's just how the world is. Not everyone will want to be your friend. Not everyone will want to see you succeed. It's sad. But, it was just a fact of life. Dirk turned around and headed to the stairs before stopping and looking back at Ayesha's door. He remembered how they met today, the falling into the trash can. Or, even that murderous newspaper chase. He remembered her accent and her shyness. It kinda reminded him of himself in some places.

"No one's perfect. She has her quirks, but who doesn't? Maybe next time, I'll come by and help her remove this terrible graffiti." Dirk thought to himself. Then, he made his way down the stairs and unto the sidewalk. He looked up at the sky to see the once blue sky had darkened to a shade of orange. Signifying the day was ending soon. With that thought in mind, Dirk pulled out his phone from his hoodie pocket and began to make a call.

....Hey, Ren! Yeah. I took a walk, I met a new friend... You know, nothing special. Say, feel like going to that arcade again? I wanna play Fighting Layer again. ... Yeah? Awesome! Alright. I'm at...
