Past/History: Maya was born to her wrestling mother in Sacramento, California, although she considers herself Jamaican. In her first few years, she traveled with her mother, eventually though, she was left with her aunt to receive proper schooling.

At around 17, she became curious about the sport her mother persued, and tracked down her mother for training. Allaya was at first hesitant, but, Maya was persistent, Eventually, Allaya pointed her to a few wrestling schools, but, only if she promised to finish high school first. She promised. And she did graduate high school.

After graduation, she immediately began training, and not unlike her mother, she was a natural, although there was one big difference to her and her mother: She was lesbian. Allaya didn’t expect this, but she supported her daughter, even getting to team up from time to time.

Eventually, AFW called to Allaya, but at first left Maya behind, but, after some hard probing of the AFW higher ups, she was eventually called up. They decided to each wrestle separately, as their styles tended to clash. Maya was about to prove that she wasn’t a momma’s girl
