Hathiya vs. Reptile - Submission Match

Victory Conditions: The fighters must use submission holds and try to force their opponent to give up.


Cirkot couldn't believe it. Since he had stepped into Eros' shoes for the SRW arrangement jobs she did ever since she disappeared off to the Overseer, he had initially thought he was going to flub things up. But instead, far as he was seeing, the ratings had actually stayed stable. In fact, there had been some upticks in the ratings in the past few days. He was actually surprised that so far, he was doing a decent job as arranging SRW events. As he leaned back in the commentator towers' chair, and seeing how the latest undercard had ended, he looked back at his tablet and looked down at the final event for the night that, no doubt, everyone had bought tickets for to come see in person. Was it that it was a submission match? No, that wasn't really what had gotten the sudden big surge of people. It was the context of the submission match itself.

Hathiya, the big and mighty earthshaker, was going up against an SRW veteran, Reptile. From what he remembered, the Sovereign Reign Wrestling circuit was actually a reformed and updated version of an older wrestling circuit that had bankrupted years ago, called Fur and Feathers ("Who the hell came up with THAT name?!"), he was one of the fighters from that, and one with quite a reputation of victories under his belt. Even on being contracted to the SRW, he had shown he had not let any rust collect on his skills and knocked up his victory streaks again.

It also occured to Cirkot he had never seen Hathiya fight a male opponent before. In fact, he wondered if THAT was why the crowd was so big today........ admittedly even HE wanted to see this. Would an old skilled veteran be able to take on the new rising Titan of a star?

After he was sure the ad break was over, he got the mic to his mouth and prepared his inner showman.

"LADIESSSS AND GENTLEMMEEEEEN! CHILDREN OF ALLLLL AGES! Now for tonight's final MAAAAAIN EVENT YOU'VE ALLLLLL BEEEEEENN WAITTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING FOOOOOOOOOR!"

The audience roared in cheers and applause.

"You're all ready! You know whats coming! You ALL know what you're here for! On the waaaay to the ring, an old veteran with a strong streak and a strong body all the ladies would die for! Meet, the green scaled warrior, REPPTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILE!"

A lot of excited screaming and whistling came as everyone turned towards the ramps.
