AV 21 Main Event World Championship - Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Misaki Toyoda

Alaina slammed Misaki down and she wanted to keep the pressure on, she knew giving Misaki a second to breathe could lead to the versatile wrestler finding one of a thousand ways to come back into the matchup.

The amazon stepped over and tried to deadlift Misaki up again, this time letting out a shout as she lift Misaki high and stepped forward to send her crashing down across Alaina's knee for a big back breaker!

The deadlift slam left Misaki winded out and in pain. She clutched her face and was going to roll over onto her back but the Champion would step over the Ace before she could and then deadlift her up over her head once more. Misaki knew that she had to escape now otherwise it would be too late.

Squirming and moving she managed to break away from Alaina's hold and fall behind the Amazon on her feet. Thinking quickly, she would grab Alaina by the chin from behind and jump up, placing her knees against her opponent's back and let gravity do the rest as she went for a surprise codebreaker!

Alaina felt Misaki fall free behind her and before the champion could react they were falling backward as Misaki countered with a codebreaker! Alaina howled and flopped to the mat writhing in pain as the move was potent, as well as taken her by surprise! Alaina was down and now it was Misaki who had the window of opportunity to act to take it to the champion on the big stage.

With the challenger breaking loose from Alaina's grip, she fell down and faced the champions back. Thinking quickly, the Ace would grab Alaina's shoulders from behind and jump up, pressing her knee against her opponent's mid back and then fall backwards, taking a bump on her back but driving her knee hard into Alaina's back for a codebreaker.

"Heh didn't see that one coming did you?" she said with a smile. Misaki would get back up on her feet and run towards the ring ropes, looking to bounce off them for a lionsault and go for the pin should the move connect!

Alaina was easy prey as Misaki flew through the air and came crashing down on top of her pulling off the springboard lionsault! Alaina groaned and kicked the mat in pain as Misaki stayed right on top of her to go for the pin! The official slid in to place and began the count as Alaina struggled underneath Misaki.

"ONE!"

"TW-"

Alaina bucked her hips and thrust Misaki off of her right before the two count, rolling to her side to push herself up to her feet. "I can take way more than surprises like that..."

The codebreaker was followed up by a magnificent lionsault and it seemed Misaki had the champion on the ropes. The move connected solidly and Alaina was left struggling under the Berserk Ace. The brunette went for the pin and right after the count of one, Alaina would kick out and thrust Misaki off to get back up on her feet.

Misaki would grin, getting up on her knee as she watched the Amazon rise. "Good, I was counting on it" she said before rushing at Alaina looking for a running knee strike!

Alaina knew Misaki could do it all and packed a lot of power into a small frame however it was also easy to forget just how fast she was! Alaina staggered up and before she could even get her arms up Misaki crashed hard into her and sent Alaina packing right back down to the canvas! "UGH!" Alaina groaned as she kicked the mat, laid out flat on her back.

The Ace would use Alaina's moment to reply to the Ace in her advantage and launched herself up from her kneel position to strike the Amazon's face with a running knee strike. The Amazon went down hard and laid flat on her back.

Misaki smirked, reaching down to grab Alaina's legs and fold her over onto her belly as she looked to sit on the small of her back and lock in the Boston Crab submission.

Alaina was soon folded over as her lower back surged with agony as Misaki applied a Boston crab submission hold! Alaina thrashed her head about and clawed at the mat before trying to power out of the hold. Alaina howled as she tried to straighten her legs to flip Misaki over onto her back in order to escape.

If anyone had any doubts that Misaki was not good enough to challenge for the title, those doubts were surely removed. The Ace was not out of her prime yet contrary to what many people believed after she had stepped foot in AFW. Misaki took the fight to the champ who was struggling and even now she had Alaina trapped in a brutal boston crab submission.

The Ace had her teeth gritted, her arms really curling Alaina's captured legs back as a trickle of sweat dripped from her forehead. In the end though, Alaina used her strength to straighten her legs and flip Misaki over onto her back.

"Whoaa Ouf!" she cried.
