Athletes

Characters who compete or competed in a non-combat sport (to differentiate this from the Martial Artists entry). Team sports, such as basketball, football (either one), and hockey would obviously fit here, but so do individual sports such as gymnastics, track/field, and swimming. This category best fits those who competed formally in their sport as a background or career, but characters that competed as a hobby at the high school or college level might also fit. Other amateur hobbyists can be put here at your own leisure, but that's not the main intent of the category.
