Background
An immediate temptation to those unfamiliar with Omen is to look over her pastel wardrobe, peppy demeanor, and bright smile, then conclude that she seems like a friendly, trustworthy person. (This is called the halo effect, a phenomenon of which she is aware and takes advantage regularly.) Unfortunately, only one of those qualifiers is true. Recall what Chaucer said about the smiler with the knife under their cloak.
Although everything about her is shrouded in mystery, the AFW brass is more aware of several critical details of Omen's past, including her real name: Otome Adachi. The daughter of a mid-ranking yakuza captain in Tokyo, Otome witnessed an act of organized crime-related violence early in life, which her doctors theorize affected her cognitive development. Little is known to the public about her early life, except that she was institutionalized after an incident in high school involving a boxcutter. She emerged with a diploma, a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder and a desire to go make her own way in the world.
As it turned out, Otome had watched an enormous amount of puroresu during her years of confinement and, in tandem with heavy use of the institute's gym, had gotten herself decently prepared to be trained as a wrestler. She debuted professionally in a feeder league after a year of training, and was picked up by the AFW after a stellar rookie year and a follow-up year that was nearly as good. Her talent on the mat, willingness to do extreme hardcore wrestling, and occasional combinations of the two (particularly an incident where she performed a Cattle Mutilation in a bed of thumbtacks) made her an easy standout to the talent scouts. So it was that Otome Adachi disappeared, and Omen, the mysterious harbinger of metaphysical gloom, emerged.
Her father knows about this, and considers it disgraceful. He would consider it infinitely more disgraceful, however, if she were to become involved in his front business or otherwise publicly associated with him. And so for now, he keeps his daughter's professional aspirations funded, turning a seemingly-stoic blind eye to her antics. Time will tell how long that stoicism holds.
Personality
Omen is a person of extremes. Her highs are very high and her lows are very frequent, and both of them tend to be accompanied by acts that require other people to really be satisfying (sex and violence). She's also keenly insightful and reasonably intelligent, which is a bad combination in somebody who comes off like a serial killer. An avowed and well-read nihilist, Omen frequently talks at people more than to them, like she's debugging code with a rubber duck. The fact that she views others as little more than a sounding board for herself gives a pretty good impression of her level of empathy.
Despite all this, she can be fun to hang out with. The Roman Emperor Tiberius said that when you have a wolf by the ears, you're safe as long as you don't let go - this is what association with Omen is like. Exciting, interesting, and probably quite fulfilling, but do not let go of the wolf's ears. Once she gets bored, she becomes dangerous, so people's tendency to get attached to her is problematic. It's never really clear whether being the object of her interest is better or worse than being boring in her eyes.
Trivia
What happened in the high school incident? Nobody is telling. Strangely, there don't seem to be any records.
Is she actually a serial killer? Probably not. She seems to get a lot more enjoyment out of playing with living people, frankly, but the morbid jokes come so constantly that you kinda start to wonder...
Does the carpet match the drapes? Yes. Pink landing strip.
Any random details? Omen wears Tom Ford's Black Orchid fragrance. She paints her fingers and toes in two-tone pink polish, and for those of you who get trapped in the Acid Bath, she uses Nécessaire eucalyptus deodorant.
So my girl can trust her, right? No.
But Omen likes her. That's a reason to trust her less.
How can my girl mistrust the person who folded her up, sat on her face, and fingered her until she squirted like a fire hydrant? She is gonna have to find it within her heart, my man, or else this is gonna end badly.
Are you sure Omen's not having a change of heart? Definitely. Stay useful to her.
