AV 20 Spider Kikuchi vs. Susan Howard

Fear and anger make people do foolish things. The ropes were the only thing that could save her from one of Kikuchi’s holds, the only thing keeping her at bay…hell, the only thing keeping Susan standing right now. Spider no doubt wasn’t the only one perplexed when the redhead abandoned that safe haven, limping and stumbling out into the middle of the ring like a wounded swimmer dog-paddling toward a hungry shark.

But as crazy as it seemed, Susan had a plan. It was dangerous, desperate even. But she refused to just limp her way around the ropes and wait for Kikuchi to pick her apart at her leisure. She was going to fight to the end. And to do that, Susan needed an opening.

It came, and felt like a miracle when it did. Susan moved her head out of the way of Spider’s kick and caught the leg while it was in full extension, resting over her shoulder. Her pained grimace turned into a sinister sneer while she looked up at Kikuchi.

“Big mistake.”

With that Susan pushed off the mat with her one good foot, jumping into the air before dropping down onto her butt, slamming the back of Kikuchi’s leg down over her shoulder to hyperextend it!

Spider didn’t care that much for kicking and strikes, though she did have a few in her arsenal. Mostly, though, they were just for setup - even the best submission wrestlers, herself included, had to do striking at some point. She just tended to shy away from them, because they were so quick and unsatisfying. Smacking a little whelp like Susan around wouldn’t be nearly as gratifying as bending her into a pretzel, of course.

If it worked, it worked, however. With Susan so vulnerable and stupid, it wouldn’t take much to push her over and get her into position for another hold. Just a quick kick, and-

”Nonono-”

She figured out what was about to happen when it was too late to do anything, when Susan was coming down and smashing her leg on her shoulder. She squawked and flopped to her back, taking half a second to rub her thigh before she overcame the pain, remembered where she was, and started a mad crawl away from Susan.
