A Fun Experiment

Given how his "fight" against Selunelia and Shisen went, Yuto was quite surprised that he managed to catch Astride right on the first try. The woman remained calm, so he guessed that she might have went easy on him. Regardless, Yuto would try to build a momentum from this point by squeezing on the woman's neck harder to weaken her. If everything went well, then the next step was for the boy to fall backwards while dragging Astride with him for a DDT.

As the busty woman continued to allow the headlock to occur, a momentary flux of power surprised her, Yuto catching her off guard and managing to go through with the DDT and slam her head to the ground. When they landed, Astrid was temporarily dazed by the move, but showed quick recovery as she got up relatively fine, her one eye blinking before narrowing to the young adventurer.

"That was the one you get." She warned, keeping a harsh glare on him as she moved forward to lock up with him, aiming to grip his hands in a test of strength and pulsing her magic to quickly try to gain superiority in the lock.

Yuto managed to execute the move flawlessly, but as he got up, he noticed that Astride was seemingly unaffected too much by it. The woman was either pretty tough or she recovered quickly, similar to him. That didn't really mater for him as they just started, and his confidence had grown a little with that exchange. He was a little concerned that this spar would end up just like how it was with Selunelia, but that might not be the case today, or so he thought.

With Astrid then engaged him in a lockup, Yuto would try to push the woman back in response. However, he found out that Astride was overpowering him rather easily. Such strength... could it be she was giving me a free shot earlier...? the boy began to waver as he's forced onto one knee.

He'd try to yank Astrid to the side, aiming for the two of them to fall onto their sides. The boy's plan was to get up quickly and maybe straddle the woman to pin her to the ground, but if Astride held her ground or got up quicker than him assuming he managed to take her down, then he could be the one who'd be disadvantaged.
