Match type: standard
Victory conditions: pinfall, submission, knockout, disqualification

- Victoria, can you imagine what a coincidence this is? - enthusiastically asked Karen.
- What other coincidence? - with obvious boredom in the voice clarified the manager.
- Are you joking? She uses the image of a superheroine!
- So what?
- She is a superheroine! Have you never wanted to test yourself against a real superheroine?! - asked Hawk Moth with an enthusiasm.
- Oh my God…

Victoria left the locker room, taking with her Damian. And Karen made the last kick in the air. Today's match promised to be incredible, or rather miraculous. The girl stretched, arching her back and headed for the curtains. She trembled a little in foretaste. She could no longer wait, so it’s good that her music has begun to play.

ENTRANCE MUSIC:

ATTIRE:

Hawk Moth came out from behind the curtains and raised her hands to meet the cheers of the fans. It would seem that Karen was quite mediocre in her stage personality. She did not use a special entry to the ring as her first opponent did. She didn’t have a particular deadly stage personality that one bunny had. She did not showing herself like the strongest girl in the ring. However, viewers gave her their approval. And even now, going to the ring, she enjoyed the fact that some people shouted along with the song “This is where the legend begins”.

Karen slipped between the bottom rope and rose to her feet. The Japanese girl stretched her arms to the side and turned around, greeting the audience in response with a broad smile. And when her music ended, she raised right hand up and shouted loudly:

- This is where the legend begins!

The audience screamed approvingly, and Karen approached the girl-referee and greeted her, giving her phone so that she would save it until the end of the match. Hawk Moth went to her corner and leaned back on it. The superheroine should have appeared soon and Karen was waiting for her with a smile on her face. She has a good feeling about this.

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

The Black Fang was in a good mood. A real good mood.

The last few months had been up and down, with more downs than she would’ve liked. While her in-ring career had been fairly stable, her real life had been bumpy ever since her best friend ran into a rough patch. AJ Shay was someone who’d filled a special niche in her life, becoming her best friend in record time, so when the woman fell into a melancholy funk over her losses, it dragged Ryoko right along with it, caught in the riptide.

Now, though? Things were back on an upswing. AJ idolized the Black Fang, and she’d just recently come to her, asking to train with her alter ego. That meant that Ryoko would be able to hang and help her friend in a more direct manner for once, something she’d never been able to do in the time they’d known each other. It would be a rare opportunity.

And it was that rare opportunity that put a smile on the Black Fang’s face as she came down the ramp, bobbing her head to the tune of her entrance music and slapping hands with a few random fans along the way. Her friend had such faith in her abilities, trusted her expertise, and this match would be a perfect opportunity to prove that faith was justified.

She rolled into the ring and popped up to her feet, pumping her fist to the crowd before she turned and faced her opponent in full. She looked to be about the same age, spunky and energetic, just as excited to be here as Black Fang was - all the potential she could ask for a good match.

”Hey there!” She threw the newcomer a thumbs up. ”You ready to go?”

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

The exit of the Black Fang was accompanied by applause and shouts from the public. The image that the girl made up for herself in combination with far from the first performance guaranteed her universal attention. Karen felt like she was trembling a little, she could not wait to start. Being in the ring after the street was a great relief for her, here was a completely different atmosphere, which she liked no less than the one that was present in the street fights.

The girl clapped her hands several times when Black Fang come in the ring. There was still a smile on the face of the street fighter, she looked at her rival with pleasure. In addition to the very attractive appearance and costume, she was a little lower and lighter. Karen noted her superiority in several physical parameters. However, she did not even think of starting to treat her opponent lightly. No no and one more time no. Such an approach leads to defeat even before the start of the match.

The girl chuckled slightly when the Black Fang asked if she was ready to begin.

- Only after that, - Karen said, going to the center of the ring and holding out her hand for a handshake, - my name is Hawk Moth, let it be a good match, superheroine.

On the last word, Hawk Moth winked at his rival. And if the handshake passed without surprises, the girl was going to take a few steps back to take a fighting stance.

Her left leg moved half a step forward, the distance between the legs was equal to the width of the shoulders. The left foot was pointing forward, and the right foot was shifted slightly to the right. The girl's knees were slightly bent, the weight was evenly distributed, the torso is slightly turned left side to the opponent and tilted forward. Her chin was slightly lowered. Karen bent her elbows and raised her fists to the level of her temples, her left arm was pointing forward, and her right arm was near her head.

For starters, she decided to use her muay thai technique, especially since she was wondering if the Black Fang would attack first.

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

First thoughts? This woman was excitable. Really, really excitable. The Black Fang had been in the ring with women who were happy to see her, sure, but the Hawk-Moth seemed extremely eager. She actually reminded her a lot of AJ, having some of that same, youthful exuberance that her friend had. Or her friend used to have, anyway. These days, notsomuch.

It was a nasty thought that brought the Black Fang down for a second, before she shook her head and snapped out of it. Time to focus. Time to do this.

She met her opponent in the middle of the ring and was all too eager to accept the handshake, glad that they were starting off on a good foot. She gave the woman a strong grip and was surprised to see it returned, Hawk Moth showing some decent power, right from the start. Definitely something to look out for.

”Right.” She gave her foe a nod. ”Let it be.”

The Black Fang moved back and went into her wrestling stance as the bell rang, taking a traditional pose - only to be surprised when her opponent slipped into something that would’ve been a better fit in a kickboxing ring. Muy Thai, if her memory from Ong-Bak was on, and she doubted it was for show. She had a feeling that there would be many knees in her future. Not something she was looking forward to.

Cautious, the Black Fang moved forward with little steps, wanting to test her opponent out before she committed to any one strategy. When she was close enough, she lunged in and swung her leg low, trying to catch Hawk Moth on the thigh with a quick side kick.[/color][/color]

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

There are people with whom you do not even want to make contact. You will never reach out to them and you will never answer them with courtesy. But from first look, Karen realized that Black Fang does not belong to such people and it seems that her rival had the same opinion about Karen herself, because their handshake went without surprises and gave way to mutual respect of the fighters. And Karen really appreciated when both fighters respect each other.

"Not bad grip", - Hawk Moth thought as the girls unclenched their hands.

When Karen took up the fighting stance, her rival did the same, using the classic wrestling stance. Hawk Moth took a deep breath and concentrated. It starts.

Ding-Ding-Ding.

The audience in the hall rustled, because their expectation was over, and the show began. And Black Fang began to approach, Karen did not change her position, only periodically shift the center of gravity from one leg to another. Both girls wanted to test each other's abilities, it was clear. But someone had to strike the first blow.

And a sharp rush forward from the side of the Black Fang made it clear that the first blow would be hers. The right leg of the Japanese girl began to rise, and the torso turned, Karen exhaled sharply and began to act. For her doesn't matter how high will this kick be from her rival.

From her side it will be a short jump to the right, so short that Black Fang foot almost touched the thigh of the street fighter. It was dangerous, but this short jump allowed Hawk Moth to save valuable time, while her rival use only one leg as a support. And the girl was going to use this time to make an arc with her right leg and direct inward crescent kick to Black Fang's left cheek as an answer.

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

So. Taking this one step at a time.

An annoying as it could be in practice, there was also something exciting about facing an opponent that she’d never come across before, a thrill that got the Black Fang’s blood flowing in the right direction. What did this woman have up her sleeve? What was her pace? What moves was she rolling with? She didn’t seem to be a powerhouse, but plenty of women in the AFW didn’t seem to be the things they were. It was the sort of league where anything could happen with anyone at any time. Stay on your toes.

And Black Fang did that, literally, as she moved about the ring, ready to retreat in an instant. She came in, lashed out low, and…

Huh.

She was surprised that her opponent could dodge that one. Not that she was the quickest striker in the league, not by a longshot, but she was usually able to tag her opponent at the outset of the match. A good indication that this woman knew her way around the strikes. As was what came next.

The Black Fang was just barely able to get her arm up in time to block a flashing kick, one that came streaking towards her face at high speeds. Even still, it was enough to knock her back and step, and she kept that guard up, figuring there was more where that came from. ”Not bad!”

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

She managed to defend herself. The Black Fang's hand raised to her head protected her from the direct hit of Karen's kick. Annoyingly. But only from one point of view. From another point of view, Hawk Moth was even a little happy with this alignment of events. After all, the fact that her opponent blocked the kick meant that her skills went beyond the boundaries of the classic wrestler. So this match will really be interesting. And only this actually made sense, because a match can only be good if both rivals are worthy of each other.

But the kick in any case remained the kick. Karen was confident in the strength of her legs and knew that even the blocked kick was not the most pleasant event for her rival, and this was confirmed by the fact that the Black Fang stepped back while continuing to support the protection of her head. But even here there was a place for courtesies, Hawk Moth smiled slightly because of the words of the brunette.

- Thank you, - Karen winked at her rival, - you're good too.

Everything was just beginning and now was not the time to relax. Karen was determined to be the first number in this match and for this she needed to launch an offensive. It only remained to choose a tactic, but it did not take much time.

The street fighter rushed forward, moving first a little to the left, and then a little to the right, she did not want the Black Fang to relax. Reduced the distance, Karen’s left hand seemed to start moving forward for a punch. But almost at the same second, the girl bent lower with the intention of grabbing the legs of the Black Fang behind her knees, after which to jerk them on herself in an attempt to knock the ground out from under the feet of her rival.

Adaptation.

That was the Black Fang’s biggest strength, and he was already seeing how it could help her in this match. Her foe seemed to be a striker at heart. She couldn’t guess the style, but just to judge the way she moved, the look, the style? She had some good punches and kicks to work with. It was a good area for the Black Fang, but not one she could compete in at this level. Her grappling game, however, was solid, and she was willing to bet she could give the Hawk Moth some headaches. Time to put it into practice.

She was coming her way, moving left and right, clearly trying to throw the Black Fang off and doing a good job of it. She swayed with her, tried to keep up, but she didn't to get much out of it. No, she had to wait for the right moment, try to keep track of the way she moved, and...there we go.

She was coming low, go for what seemed like a double leg takedown. A bad move, one that could put her on the floor and open her up to the ground and pound, if she didn’t take precaution. That precaution came in the from of her arm, trying to clamp down on Hawk-Moth’s neck in a headlock, while her legs wrapped around her opponent’s sides and squeezed. Not the best choke, but it would be a good way to hold her foe down, limit her options, wear her out and hopefully swing momentum of this match in her favor.

Everything seemed to go perfectly. Karen came close enough and grabbed the feet of her rival.  Next was only a matter of technique. The street fighter yanked Black Fang's legs in an attempt to send her to the mat. However, Karen's eyes widened in surprise when she felt the brunette's hand grab her neck. But that was not all, because Black Fang used her legs as pythons in order to catch Hawk Moth!

- Grah, - the street fighter croaked.

In the end, both girls were on the floor however it was clear to everyone that Karen was in a much more disadvantageous position than her rival. The street fighter strained her neck to prevent herself from being strangled. However, this was clearly not enough to begin to feel comfortable. She needed freedom.

And she knew how to secure this freedom for herself. Man needs his hands in order to work. And Karen had long hands. And strong. Therefore, she was going to use her own hands for the most banal but quite effective goal. Hawk Moth was about to start sending punch after punch to Black Fang's head using both hands!

Of course, she did not have a good look to set up the scope. However, part of these punches must achieve the goal. Perhaps some of them will fall into the air but the other part should have definitely got into the chin, jaw or temples. If Black Fang intends to continue to hold Karen in this grip then Karen intends to test her opponent's skull for strength. And the Japanese girl was ready to break it if necessary!

[Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect Empty Re: [Standard Match] Hawk Moth vs The Black Fang - Motivation And Respect

Post by acuyra Thu Nov 07, 2019 1:56 am

Guillotine Choke. Maybe a little more MMA-ish than Black Fang liked in her moves, but she wasn’t above using it. She liked to keep her style open, and even though she didn’t excel too much in anyone area, having a wide variety of moves gave her options in just about any situation. Everyone had a weakness, and she could always find a way to exploit it.

In this case, she was cutting down on what seemed like Hawk Moth’s agility, her ability to move in a standing exchange. She didn’t like the idea of going toe-to-toe with a woman like this, but on the floor, things showed more promise. Wear her down, sap at her stamina, then go to town with suplexes and throws. It sounded like a decent plan on paper.

In practice, however, it wasn’t so simple. Hawk Moth had these two annoying things that people called ‘fists’, and she proved to be quite adept with them even now, as she swung wild punches at Black Fang’s face. She threw her head back, narrowly avoiding the first volley, but then one caught her in the face, and another. They weren’t full power punches, but they were more than a little annoying, and not something she wanted to suffer through this early in the match.

She let Hawk Moth go, but not without a parting gift - the second after she let go of the headlock, she threw her elbow forward to clock her opponent in the jaw, then brought her foot in and shot it out straight into her chest, hoping to knock the woman back and create some space between them.
