Rumble in the Street

"No.. Take me... to the hospital.." Even as dazed as she was, Tracy found no reason why to take her home. All Rika would do by that would be to scare poor little Alison, and make Seraphim worry. Fortunetely for them, there was a medium class hospital like.. a block away from them.

"Right! The hospital! That make sense!" Rika stammered, not even thinking that in her panicked state. She would not become a murderer! Despite her weakened state, Rika would lift Tracy up under her legs and shoulders in a bridal carrying position. SHe then took off down the street, going as fast as she could with the bleeding girl in her arms.

Tracy didnt offer any kind of resistance for two reasons. One, she knew that it would be good to go to the hospital, and two, because she wasnt in conditions of doing so. 'Why is it me who always ends up hurt..?' She thought as she moved her hand to her head to find out that the wound wasnt so big and also to try and stop the bleeding for a while until they arrived to the hospital.

Rika rushed down the street, dodging other people so she wouldn't hit anyone, or end up hitting Tracy. "Hospital," she panted, looking around wildly. "Where's the hospital?" She looked around quickly, knowing it was around here somewhere, when suddenly she spotted it. "There!" Again she rushed towards it, taking the time to check on Tracy. "How are you feeling?"

"Nghh..." Tracy groaned softly in pain, her eyes were closed. She hoped Rika to understand what the meaning of that soft groan was. She slowly shook her head from one side to another, like a child having a nightmare, and kept her eyes closed, feeling like passing out in any second.

"Just hang in there!" Rika cried, and with that she ran through the automatic doors to the hospital. She immediately went to the front desk where a nurse was sitting. "Please, you have to help me! My friend is really hurt!"

"Oh my!" the nurse gasped upon seeing the blleding girl. "What happened to you two?" Rika hesitated. There might be trouble if the hospital found out that the two had been fighting, and that she had put Tracy in this state, albeit unintentionally.

"We, uh, fell down some stairs," she made up on the spot. The nurse gave her a suspiscious look. "Yeah! We both did! But she's the one who needs help! Please!" The nurse sighed but agreed, and evetually a stretcher was rolled out. Rika gingerly placed Tracy on it, and they rolled the readhead off to help her. Rika decided to stay out of the way, and waited for the results...

Even being as bad as she was, Tracy was still able to hear Rika. But there was one word that she really paid attention at. 'Friend..?' The redhead's only friends up to now were only Seraphim and Alison, but now... it seemed like Rika also considered her a friend. Tracy was glad to know she wasnt the only one feeling it.

The doctors quickly took her in the emergency room. It was a pretty delicate operation, and they needed to do it fast. It'd take more than just a few hours before she could be moved to a room. Just then, about 5 or 6 hours after the fight, Rika would be able to visit her 'friend' in her room.

Rika had gotten a call on her cell phone from Sarah as she waited, and her mentor was wondering just what the hell she was doing that her walk had taken over four hours. Rika quickly explained that she had gotten side tracked by a new restaurant, and was just eating a bit more than intended. She then hung up when the doctors said she could visit Tracy. She meekly went inside to the redhead's room, poking her head in. "Uh, hey. Are you all right?"

Tracy was conscious when Rika came in. And in fact, she was waiting for her to visit her. As the girl entered the room, the redhead smirked and smirked at her. "Yeah.. I'll survive." She answered to Rika's question, the smile not fading. Now she wanted to ask her something. "Now, can I ask you something? It's reaaally important.." She asked, not daring to launch her question without Rika's permission.

Rika saw Tracy, and was glad she was alright. "You gave me a pretty big scare there," she sighed, and went to sit down beside her bed. She was surprised when Tracy wanted to ask her something. She had quite a few questions to ask her herself. "Yeah? What is it?"
